    I used to sing this in my cabaret act! Lovely song, typical JFMcC. He was my inspiration.

    Nice video Mike. I like this John McCormack recording. A singer called Mike Berry turned it into a bit of a pop hit over here in 1980.

    This and “Send Me Away With A Smile” are such beautiful songs at such a sad time in history. Though I think the latter is a piece of propaganda to get troops’ morale up in the hell that was the First World War.
