Thank you for your video. I agree with most of what you have said here, and I use Android Auto. Keep up the great content.

If you were happy replacing a GTS system, think how happy you would be to replace an older GT system like I did! I have ridden about 3k miles with the V2 on group rides and on a 1500 mile 4 day trip. I would definitely buy again. Yes, little quirks that will get fixed. The only serious issue as you discussed and that I experienced is the black screen of death. It dropped out on me while I was navigating in an unfamiliar area. When on group rides or trips, I now run CarPlay wired. While Soundstream is right that drops are an Apple/Android issue, the V2 software should handle a wifi drop more gracefully.

What are the best ear plugs to protect from wind noise but still hear music and Cardo coms clearly??

Hi, I like to run my iPhone via wire and my music via mini usb. Does the v2 have a second data port?
    Great video!

Thanks! The V2 has 1 connection for the OEM USB which does data and charging. The second connection is high speed charging data only. You could plug the iPhone into the charging connection and use wireless CarPlay to the V2. Then use the OEM with the data support for a thumb drive or something.

    1. Are there any compatibility problems with any HD or aftermarket sound systems ?
    2. Does the sound system’s volume lower once the bikes engine is turned on with HD / Rockford speakers like it does on an OEM ?

The GPS is acquiring the Ephemris and Allimanac. That is why the GPS takes some time to become usable.

The latest update is junk. Now it goes to loud fm static when you turn off and back on. Never should a update set you back. Now Ronnie has gotten nasty in some of his posts.

I saw that after I did the update. I think they are going through some growing pains managing the software. Having owned and run a tech company, there are some solid principles that you need to have nailed down:
      - Own your product and your processes. Don’t let users push you off that. I actually applaud them for getting off the reactive track and focusing and managing their resources. Not doing that is a good way to sink a ship quickly.
      - Don’t overreact to user feedback. Listen. Analyze. Validate that it fits your vision. Reject it when it doesn’t. Incorporate validated feedback in your roadmap where appropriate. Then follow your processes.
      - Regression testing is your friend. Both automated and manual. That issue with the boot up to a non-tuned FM station should not have passed testing before releasing the update. Which leads us to…
      - Recovery. You need to have a means and process for rolling back when something doesn’t work. We should have had a way to rollback to the previous firmware. Or they should provide a hot fix for that specific problem. Even if that fix is to boot to the Home Screen and stop doing things like automatically checking for, and switching to, CarPlay or Android Auto.
I’ve shed a lot of blood learning lessons, as most of us do. Have taken a lot of incoming fire from users as well. Hopefully they continue learning and evolving accordingly. I’m ok being on this journey with them as long as they are. As long as I don’t see the same mistakes being made repeatedly.
