What is a mini hat?

DexterMuziq I’d personally qualify any hi-hat that’s 9” or smaller as a mini hi hat - you can start by looking at splash cymbals and pairing a cpl together to make a set of “mini-hats.” It also should be more about the tonal quality. Smaller doesn’t always necessarily mean higher in pitch. The profile can have an affect on the tone, so make sure to test for the right sound as well when finding your ideal mini hat set.
