Thanks again to Joanne for letting us make a tour of this rare gem!
Even through the screen I could feel the warmth and the love in that house.
That’s a place ready to become another great home.
Aw my granny was from Templemore, she lived just up the road on Bank Street, I spent many a summer in that square as a child, happy memories. The house will make a beautiful family home for someone. Such a lovely town.
Well, I *was* dreaming of a modest little cottage on some land, but then you walked us through this beauty... *swoon*
I am ready to pack up everything (right down to my old hens) and move. IT'S GORGEOUS!!!
You have such a wonderful personality for this!! I think I would by a 100 houses from you…😉
Beautiful molding.
Wow! I found your channel because I am interested to move to Ireland in a future, and I wanted to know more about housing and living costs. There are such antique lovely houses filled with lots of stories that is nice for someone several years in the future to give it a new beginning. Thank you for all of your uploads! Love them! :) Greetings from Mexico
Blue rope on the stairs.
Oh my Goodness.
Memories.
Its a life saver.
I cannot believe the price of this home. I have restored this place in my mind as you took us around. I love how you show us all the little things like the scalloped backplate behind the door knob. A treasure!
Is your dad Polish? 🤭
What a beautiful ornate fireplace, gorgeous! Love the delicate shades on the large window, also in the sitting room.
Maggie, this house needs you. You should , indeed, buy it.
The two rooms on the very top floor if the wall were taken out it would make a gorgeous master suite!
That house is stunning! Thank you so much for showing us around Maggie, and thanks to Joanne for letting you! I can’t work my head around 1820 actually being 200 years ago, it doesn’t feel like it was but it so is! Amazing condition for a house half that age!
That is a really nice house. That backroom should be fixed up with a kitchen, a loo and a standup shower and rented out to pay the mortgage 😊👍
Room upstairs is nice too with the fireplace and the window facing out toward the street and could be rented out too😊👍
What a fabulous house, I'd move in tomorrow if it was for sale now! I agree, that first floor reception room is the best room in the house, but the whole place would look fantastic done up sympathetically in lovely Edwardian colours. Oooh I'm dreaming now! 💞
My Casey family came from Templemore. They were decorators and glaziers so I’d put money on them having been in that house at some point!
Just what I am looking for: a charming older house in a village so you can walk to shops, pubs and restaurants. I decorated each room as you passed through.
Hi nice two have you back. And a look round y mams home town.
That is a nice window upstairs in the bathroom and yes that bathroom is big.😊👍
"Oh, Holy God, more scalloping!" 😂
Gorgeous! The scallops the old glass the great condition the price! Someone is going to make a lovely home there. ✨
Thank you for sharing and explaining I really love this hoses with good prices
I would fancy another go at the living room with that black fireplace.
Love your enthusiasm for old houses! Really enjoyed the tour!
Without a doubt I'd do it as a gut reno, including turning those upstairs rooms back into a single master, but work to respect its history as much as is possible while still modernizing. That small room behind the master could easily become a proper master bathroom, even leaving room for a walk in closet if you're creative about it. Still, it's just an absolute delight.
I love the floral carpet!!!
Thank You. It is only a dream for me. Currently, I am too far from there in UK.
Love the stairs!
I just love your enthusiasm ❤
You're back! Phew! I thought we'd
lost you. Looking forward to this 😍
I really really love this one ❤❤❤❤❤❤!!!

The room when you come up the stairs to the right could be rented out too 😊👍 5:30
Thank you for a grand tour of that beautiful 3 story house!!
That is cool has 2 bathrooms👍😊
Delightful
JUST. LOVE THE WAY. YOU SAY , BUT,
Love, love, love it!!!!
The house is beautiful and you are so cute!
It's a deal.....it's a steal..... it's actually so good that I'm gonna keep it for myself! ))
beautiful house! roof on the extension might be a challenge
This is a fantastic house, solid, spacious, nicely proportioned and in fairly decent condition. There is a gate the provides access to the back garden from the street but that gate is under the house next door, which unfortunately looks derelict. I don’t think the gate is wide enough to drive a car through, but you could certainly bring your bike in! With those reservations this house has the potential to be a fantastic home with a little TLC. I see that the listing shows “Sale Agreed”.
How fab is this house! Loved this Maggie, defo up for more house tours!
That was so much fun. Well done. 🌈🌈🌈
Beautiful, charming and I would love to know what’s behind that wall. Lol 🥰🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼
Ooh me too! Why would you cover up a simple alcove. Surely storage has always been king 😂
Would you please tell me why the windows on the 2nd & 3rd levels of old Irish houses are so low to the floor? It's a strange architectural quirk. Did it develop for a reason?
It's probably to maximize light in the house. If the windows on the top floor were raised up, they would be very tiny and that top floor would be dark as a tomb. If you look at the front of the house, the middle set of windows are the biggest (for the grand reception room on the 1st floor) and all the other windows are just a bit smaller to accomodate.
Perhaps you already told it ? How many square meters is the "garden" outside?
95,000 euros is madness
❤️
Wow it's really a good buy but I'm looking for something just out of town in the country
Lol these houses are ugly I only watch these videos for your little giggle. Brings me joy 🤩.
Is this still available?
There is a link to the listing in the description box. At the top of the listing it says “under offer” and at the bottom it says “sale agreed”.
I looked at the listing and there's something I'm having a hard time googling - BER. What is that? What does it mean when it says BER exempt?
Love these videos!!
Stands for Building Energy Rating, i.e. insulation etc. It's exempt from giving a rating due its age.
@@TracyCul thank you for that! But I have follow up questions now - why is it exempt? Just because they know it's too old and will need a bunch of work? Or the opposite? And finally, what's an example of a good rating?
, do you have Instagram? I would love to ask you something
If there’s a basement or sub level, you simply must show it. Some of us are really interested in the infrastructure of these buildings. Warts and all.
Basements are very unusual in Irish houses. I can guarantee you that this house doesn’t have one.
This House gone Cost you twice the Price to renovate It. To much Damp in the House. All the walls are wet.
Thousands of houses around the country that could be restored due to the demise of the family farmers
