Killer demo style. Your explanations along the way are spot on. Seems like a super versatile and quality pedal. Perfect for the non-boutique fuzz crowd that can cover a lot of bases.
Great overview of the FZ-1W, and a great video! Really good production, and clear audio. Look forward to watching more of your videos. I have a lot of fuzz pedals, and I think that the FZ-1W is a great "intro to fuzz" pedal. It works well with others in the chain, it isn't too temperamental, and it has a wide range of tones available.
Hey Sean, thanks for the kind words, mate. I'm really glad you enjoyed the video! The Fz-1w is working well for me at the moment, but now that I've got a taste for Fuzz, I'm also quite keen to check out some more wild ones... so let's see what happens! Cheers mate 🤙
I to own one. I never liked fuzz until I saw this pedal. Most of the fuzz boxes to me get way to muddy and chopped past 12 on the dial but this one stays usable and dynamic through out the entire sweep of its controls.
Hey James, I was the same with fuzz until finding this one. I wasn't quite sure how to approach the effect but this just seemed to tick all the typical "fuzz" boxes while also being quite accessible and responsive. Definitely an awesome first fuzz. Cheers mate! 🤙
Hey mate, would definitely demo a fuzz face, I've just got a couple on my list to get through first 😅 Top two to try first are the Benson Germanium Fuzz and the Browne Amplification T4 so hopefully I can get my hands on one or both some time soon!
Believe it or not, the fz1w sounds great with a tube screamer in front of it instead of behind it. Blues driver and klon style pedals sound better after the fz1w. Give it a try
Sorry for a second comment...something you said triggered another thought. I agree with you about how fuzz covers multiple gain stages by challenging us to use our volume knob. Can you identify any other gain pedals (overdrive, distortion, etc.) that trigger this same kind of experience?
It's a great question mate, and something I've been researching a bit recently as well! Supposedly tubescreamers are great for cleaning up on the overdrive front, and I know that the Boss DS-1's clean up really well on the distortion side of things also. Apparently the Fulltone OCD is also great but I need to look into that one a bit more. Cheers mate, and again, loving your involvement with the vids! 🤟🤟

Great choice of riffs! Wolfmother was one of the first bands I thought of for using fuzz 🤙🏽🤙🏽
Riff choices match this thing's sound. Nice.
Just great...very well done...Great INFO❤

Love! You started your fuzz path in a great place. Try fuzzface next?

Great video ✌super informative. Keep doing content ☀️
Hey Felipe, thanks for the kind words mate! Glad you enjoyed and there's definitely more content on it's way 🤙
Wolfmother!!!!
Couldn't do a fuzz demo without including the riff for "Woman" 🤙
Hi! Did you put the Morning Glory or conspiracy theory before or after the Fuzz?
Hey Felix, in both examples the overdrives were after the fuzz. Hope this helps! 🤙
@@joelwilson7908 thanks! Just got the Boss Waza Fuzz and it's been great so far

Interesting. I have a Ibanez OD 850 and put my Blues Driver before it to push it over the edge and unleash hell.
a '62 Tele wouldn't be my choice for any kind of dirty tone but otherwise a good video. Thanks for the demo.
you deserve way more subscribers and views than this
Could you stake this with a boss sd 1?
