F20 has a max sustained turn rate of 21.7° at min fuel clean payload at the deck at 380 knots, you should have around 20° i believe in the same conditions but you can easily one circle him, so even if you went into a 2 circle fight, you could have stayed with him long enough to either figure a way out, or teammates including his arrive, other than that, good shit 👍.
I've been playing with the F20 in sim for a while now. It's really a competitive jet in sim and rb but the lack of fuel and flares is the only thing this jet really struggles with.
Yo, are you flying with a HOTAS, or a joystic, or are you keyboard and mouse? cause i cant get as smooth when turning, the plane just starts doing weird things... Been flying with a keyboard and a mouse much easier even in DCS than in war thunder 😂
Haha yeah. I fly with a Thrustmaster T.16000M HOTAS with foot pedals and all. I’ve tried mouse and keyboard and even gamepad/controller and can honestly say that the Hotas or Joystick is worth it if you’re trying to get into sim.
@@Notary1 yeah, its super janky, maybe there is a workaround but idk, I'm actually quite surprised by how well is the keyboard and mouse control done in DCS, I mean its not great by any means but gets the job done.
I also find the camera angle in WT to be somehow lower, I don't have like a really good feeling of how close am I to the ground, in DCS again somehow not an issue... Might be hella trippin thoe
@@ksenonscentral1187 Yeah especially on water maps like Denmark or Dover Strait I agree. There's some other things you can do with your camera controls like "sense of flight" and another one that allows you to look over the console/cowling of the aircraft in the cockpit, but I haven't played around with those much yet.
If you lock ‘em up with the radar, then switch your cockpit sight/HUD to “cannon on air targets” it’ll give you the radar gunsight in sim. Most top tier aircraft have it. You can check for it in x-ray mode in the hangar on the pilot and it’ll say “EEGS” if it has it.
The 29’s cockpit is so aesthetically pleasing
Yessir especially the SMT with all the MFD’s

Good info thank you 🙏

True. I was really trying to avoid rate-fighting this guy because it’s like an F-5 with a bunch of extra thrust.

@@Notary1 Yeah, gave up on sim until I buy a HOTAS
Dude how you activate ccrp for gun?
