Dude, ive never seen anyone play air RB with stick. I do the same thing and have been because its just soo much more entertaining then air sim. We should play together. I also appreciated the on point commentary, you know your stuff. @Notary1
I was doing a guns only 1v1 with a good pilot in the mirage 2k and me in the f8u. I probably won 80% of the time just by bleeding his energy and keeping mine up. We were both surprised how well the f8 against with with the f8 a solid energy retention

never seen someone use cockpit in rb, u use joystick?
Yessir 👍 it works ok because in rb you get the virtual cockpit which gives you a 360 degree view. In sim you only get the full cockpit view.

I was wondering how viable joystick and cockpit view is in RB, I enjoy the immersion and the pretty cockpits (unless you fly britian)
Joystick is definitely harder in RB but with practice you can become proficient at it just like mouse aim 👍

I’ve won against the Su-27 in the F-8E as well… just gotta flare a lot, lol
