The two horse-drawn coaches that will be used at the coronation of King Charles III and Camilla, Queen Consort - have taken centre stage during overnight rehearsals in central London. The new sovereign and consort will initially travel in the Diamond Jubilee State Coach from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey in ‘The King’s Procession’ before returning to Buckingham Palace after their crowning - in the magnificent gold State Coach, as part of ‘The Coronation Procession’.

The details into the practice is amazing.

You are minus 8 hours from BST, coverage starts at 09:00 BST, departure from the Palace at 10:00 so need to start watching from between 01:00 or 02:00 PST. Coronation service starts at 11:00 BST.

Rehearsals are better than the real ceremony, as a fan of horses and carriages these rehearsals don't have crowds to obscure them.
These horses were probably trained or are used to such events already.

I felt very emotional watching. Particularly watching the service personnel marching beside the coaches, young people who have taken the oath to serve the monarch bringing their, and our, King back to Buckingham Palace

The Gold Coronation Coach is a masterpiece on wheels . Looking forward to seeing the new King and Queen inside it at the Coronation . I am so happy to be alive to witness the Coronation of a Britsh Monarch for the first time .The Garden Party should be awesome tomorrow with many senior Royals present. I couldn't be more proud of the man Prince William has become. He will be a wonderful and loyal support to his father, King Charles, and is one son who can be trusted and relied upon . I am looking forward to seeing Prince William swearing his allegiance to his Father the King at the Coronation and also assisting the bishops to clothe the King in his Robes . It will be a heartfelt and very genuine moment. Prince William is also going to pay tribute to Queen Camilla at the coronation concert on Sunday . I am very proud of the Royal Family in the UK who achieve much and really do make a difference. 👏👏👏

Australia gave that coach to the Queen for her Jubilee. It is well sprung and airconditioned, unlike the uncomfortable gold coach.
It's more beautiful than the gaudy gold state too.

Last time I was in London, I finally got to the Royal Mews. I had not been able to make it there on prior visits. Those coaches are magnificent. We were told that the King's Coach is so big that the wall of the building that they are stored in, has to be removed to get it out. Quite a feat.
I remember hearing an interview with Her Majesty and she said that coach was quite uncomfortable to ride in. I just say I miss her and yet I believe King Charles will really be a good King. I was eight years old when Her Majesty had her coronation and I remember my parents listening on the radio. We hadn't yet gotten a TV. I think we all just thought she would live forever. King Charles has some shoes to fill. I think he will do it well.
I am impressed by the Australian Coach that is leaving Buck Palace. It is said to be very comfortable compared to the Royal Couch that will make its way back.
Yes it vintage but modern . Has hydraulic shocks, radio, powered windows, air-conditioning,and electric lighting.

I missed out on something amazing in History he might not be a great husband or father but to see he stood by his mother for so long and waited for his turned to sit the thorn is very ambitious and not greedy. His sister Princess Ann can guide him on to this new Journey on becoming a great King. He has nothing to gain by losing the love of the people. ❤🎉 2023. This is the month I lost 2 of my heart family members and was always sad. God save the King.

At least two of the last coronations there were temporary structures erected outside of Westminster Abbey but this time there doesn't appear to be.
