I spent 5 hrs watching this beautifully historic coronation.
I’m from 🇨🇦 and I went in person! The best 16 hours on Whitehall, then The Mall (albeit the rain during the Abbey ceremony) I’ve ever had!
I watched it from Norway. Had an early start and made a big salade amongst other things. I didn't wanna miss a second of this ceremony....
Charlotte is really something special. Always a little lady. Looks so much like her great grand mother, Elizabeth.

What a glorious day and the singing was ambrosial.
A continuous line of history, heritage and culture of our people lasting over a thousand years.. As a kiwi it blows my mind that while the Māori were being blown around the Pacific looking for land my ancestors were building the amazing cathedral this took place in!

But whilst Maori were relatively simple in lifestyle and looking for land...The Incas and Aztec tribes had built hillside cities of stone and rock ..discovered gold and fashioned it into crowns and jewellery etc....built pyramids and stepped cities even made grass sports pitches surrounded by steps for a game similar to rugby...made ovens for baking and kilns for pottery making. They made basic cutlery....yet native Indians roamed the plains of America never advancing in any technology just as Maori who were not one particular nation but came from many Pacific island nations but in NZ collectively called Maori. Their customs and basic ways continued until Britain began to send settlers there instead of Aussie, and brought things like wheels, cabin houses and other signs of Western modernity of its day. The Incas and Aztecs were as culturally advanced almost as the Egyptians..almost and who knows how they might have progressed had the Spanish not plundered their gold, killed the King's, priests etc and driven the survivors away to survive for a short time only....Britain benefited from Roman and Norman technology and culture and after initial resistance did come to accept new ways and become more innovative..one person invents and later on it gets improved and adapted like cars and computers etc. for Incas and Aztecs their skills and buildings became their downfall when greedy Spain rocked by. Maori are not indigenous to NZ as they paddled there from all over the Pacific not they were the earliest settlers. and I understand only the Aborigines of Australia are an indigenous peoples who also did not develop like Incas etc until again Britains arrived with a few French thrown into the mix, although there was not the same feeling shown towards the existing peoples as was shown to the Maori tribes. Thank goodness Maori display great flair and innovation in modern times and become almost modern day Incas.

The magic of the coronation was in full splendor as befitting the occasion! The many people attending ,various colors and the garments of the Duke ,and Duchess Of Wales ,the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh ,King Charles in cloth of gold ,his grave expression ,Queen Camillia in white ,, Prince George performing his part as royal page very well, Duty ,service ,loyalty to the people ,as it should be !!Queen Elizabethand Prince Philip would of been so proud of their son !!!
