      @@PaddyPatrone I think all companies will make a good physical product. The issue with FFB and how good they will compare is purely down to how good their software is at interpreting the telemetry and turning that into what we feel.
      Plus flight sims are sadly lacking the high level of detailed telemetry that racing sims have. Racing sims have had FFB racing wheels for a long while now and the racing sim developers have had time to increase the level of telemetry from their sims. DCS is really the only one that has any detailed telemetry but even then it's lacking due to no support for FFB hardware until now.

    There is no telemetry feedback from the DCS HeatBlur F-14 for dynamic spring effect. In other words as you go faster there is no added resistance to the stick movement forward or back. You will feel extra forces if you need to pull harder and the "G" effect to work so if you pull harder for more G you will get more resistance while pulling hard back in a dogfight for example. And you can add AoA shake and adjust it to suit to be able to feel when you are maxing your turn rate rather than having to watch your speed all the time.

      @@dcs_one Thank you. It's surprisingly important for a FFB stick, because it has to simulate breaking out of autopilot (the amber 'A/P Ref' light will illuminate on the F-14), once a certain amount of pressure is applied to the stick . My Microsoft Sidewinder FFB2 stick is a little vague around the centre point and spurious signals cause the A/P to break away without even touching the stick. It's great in every other way, but A/P is un-useable. I'm curious to see if the MOZA has rock-steady ALT HOLD in a 20 degree bank and with the wings swept back beyond 40 degrees, when at 30k+ feet. Thanks.

  • @riman8493
    @riman8493 3 місяці тому

    lol... spoiler effects in a flight regime, where spoilers are not being used... (at high speed, with the wings swept back, the 14 rolls with the elevons - not the spoilers!). You can even see it in the video in the third-party view, where it rolls. I hope Moza can up their game on that.

    • @dcs_one

    Good demo but I have to say you have the worst joystick position : High up and on the side, especially for a ffb. It should be low and between your legs.

    Compared to the Brunner model this one is not really a proper FFB stick. When I tried the moza it was mainly a few rumbles and hardly any actual force feedback feelings or how a FFB should feel.

    • @dcs_one
      @dcs_one  3 місяці тому

      Hmm, would be interesting to compare. With the Moza you currently have to crank up some settings to get those feelings more

      Moza seems to take a gradual approach with their upgrades, similar to how they did with their racing wheel base. They likely plan to improve their products step by step, ensuring each iteration is more refined than the last.
