  • Here's my take and tutorial on how I managed to mount a 240mm radiator on top of the Cooler Master NR200P Chassis. (this is not the MAX Version).
    A few tweaks and patience is all you need. :)

    Love the build but just a question since I want to build something like this, just bit more crouded. Could you theoretically put a 280mm AIO if we repositioned the power cable? Or a better question, would the motherboard interfere with the radiator?

    Why not mount the fans above the rad, pulling the air through? Couldn't you just use long screws through the existing holes in the top of the case, through the fans and into the rad?

    Which CPU are you using? How are the thermals with the slim fans?

    • @WiPPCModz
      @WiPPCModz  Рік тому +1

      Hi, just using ryzen 5 5600g..there's no big difference in thermals from the stock fans of the AIO and slim fans from arctic..unless maybe if I switched fans to noctua, then I can tell that my temps may drop a few °C :)

  • @LingBaneHydra
    @LingBaneHydra 11 місяців тому +3

    This was amazing, but the need for slim fans is a deal-breaker. To lose cooling performance or silence, for me, is not acceptable.
    What is the fit problem? The Mobo or the PSU? Is there anything else we can do to fit normal fans?
    Thanks a lot for the video!

    • @WiPPCModz
      @WiPPCModz  Рік тому +1

      Yes it is possible,but you may need to move the psu bracket a little bit outward to fit a fan,but I think It would be more relevant to put a fan at the rear part as exhaust :)

    I was wondering what the clearance of the radiator vs mobo is with this mod. That is, do you think a mobo with a VRM heatsink (MSI B650M Project Zero) would fit with this mod?

    • @WiPPCModz
      @WiPPCModz  4 місяці тому

      hi, I think your mobo won't fit on the NR200P, unless, you have the tools to modify your case? though another problem is that the cable connectors of your mobo is on the back side of the PCB right?you'll gonna have to adjust the mobo tray and have some cut-outs on it to make way for the power connectors. it's a lot of work,but it is possible with the right tools.🙂

      You need to remove the top panel,modify it by cutting a portion of the top panel,then screw the rads on the top panel using aluminum strips as an anchor to the panel.after you have fixed the rad,screw the slim fans on the radiator.when everything is ready,assemble your hardware first,do the cabling. Lastly,snap on the top panel then screw the cpu block onto the cpu. :)
