This is my kinda mod! Function > Form. This is the sort of stuff I did when I was first getting into computers and hella-poor, my craziest mod was repurposing a minifridge and pumping the air into the PC (didn't work as well as you might think- think I got 2c of improvements- fridges cool too slowly. This mod reminds me of my laser engraver- the enclosure is cardboard/duck tape/hot glue- the filter box for air extraction is a carboard box with cardboard spacers so I can add 3-5 layers of filter which I cut up out of cheap HVAC filters and it works great! I used to stink up the whole house when burning but now not even the room it's in smells and I've been using it for almost a Year now... I was going to build something permanent but it's so easy to work on/modify/repair as cardboard that I doubt I'm going to build a more permanent enclosure, I love tinkering with things like this!
Now switch it up and instead of suction flip it around and blow instead if you can! Most of these Vacuums you can both suck/blow.
