Thanks for the update Dom. I got the idea that Chips Batman run has gone from bi-monthly to monthly to bridge the wait for loeb/lee. Hope his story isn't cut of short. Also that JL Snyder/Tynion omni gets too expensive I think for the page count. 100 would have been a no-brainer.
From what I've read so far, Chip Zdarski has done great work on Batman (and Daredevil). However, I'm also a great fan of Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee's Batman: Hush. So it's unfortumate that Zdarski is leaving, but I also think those two are the some of the best possible people to replace him.
And I agree that the price for Justice League by Snyder and Tynion Vol. 1 should go down further. It will also be interesting to see what will be collected in Volumes 2 and 3.
Wow, I wasn’t aware of the Batman news. I haven’t read Chip’s run on Batman, as I was waiting for it to be complete. But man, that is a bummer if this ending is premature. From the snips of the story I saw it looked pretty good.
Saw The GL by Vendetti and Jonah Hex: All-Star Western omnibuses are still up on Swedish Amazon. GL release date says January 7 and Hex January 28 both 2025.

Very excited for Venditti’s work on GL, though, like you said, I hope we get the rest of it. And excited for All-Star Western. Hope this means there is a chance we’ll get Demon Knights as an omnibus in the future.
I don’t know what the issues could be with Loeb that you might have. I don’t keep up with much of anything about creators outside of their work unless it’s been blasted and unavoidable. I know Hush is my favorite Batman story, so I’m eager to see what this team does now. I hope it’s not just a rehash/revisit of Hush. Hoping for something new.
Any time for the updates! Demon Knights would be a great shoe-in for an omnibus at some point. Same with somehow getting the rest of Nu52 GL adjacent books in like New Guardians and Sinestro.
As for Loeb, I've never found his work particularly engaging outside of the couple of issues that he spent writing Sam Nova and the Batman: Dark Victory series. I probably will check the fill-in Batman arc he does with Jim Lee at some point on DCUI. I just can't get into his writing nor the person, but I'm glad you love Hush!
