Aside from that, he isn't very bright, is a jerk, occasional *ssh*le, committed sexual misconduct while drunk and he joined the red lantern corps. Though many fans don't consider this cannon, it is written.

If Batman turns evil he wouldn't care about hostages or friends or family. Only Alfred can neutralize him, without Alfred he'd run out of steam sooner rather than later
