The Dr Fate price increase is actually a good thing. It means the entire run is collected. There was no way the entire run was going to fit in at a $29.99 price point.

I love these previews but could you rotate the cover photos more slowly. I watch on my 65 in TV and I felt dizzy trying to focus on each cover before it changes every second. Thanks!

Thank you for these overviews, Dom! It's great that they are doing DC Finest Green Lantern, and IMHO it is about time for a DC Finest Kyle Rayner if they don't want to do an Omnibus or a second Compendium. I'm especially looking forward to your DC Finest Catwoman overview.

Thanks for the overview Dom. I read it this weekend and loved it. I'm impressed with how they handle witnessing the horrors of war and the impact it can have on the survivors. I will most definitely be reading this book again and again!

It's a pass on Doctor Fate. I own the floppies, so there's no reason to repurchase. If it had the WML issues I was missing or if it were omni-sized (or both), it would be a must buy.

Looks like Amazon at the very least still has Dr Fate at $30. Buy it before the price hike!

I own the black & white Green Lantern Showcase Presents book that collects up to issue 17 so it’d definitely be cool to get this and pick up where I left off in color.

I love how Julius Schwartz reimagined the DC characters, between Flash, GL, Hawkman, Atom, etc. I wonder if DC is going to double dip with the Green Lantern/Green Arrow story, will we have two finest with the exact same content?

I don’t think dc will release JLA 90’s run in dc finest line because of the complete collection that dc is already doing, there’s already a volume one and the second will be released in February
