Actually really appreciate you showing the markers bleeding! It’s such a small error of the media, but most people would edit that part out and fix it, THEN show the artwork (or just remove the piece completely). It’s refreshing to see artists who know what they are doing face their setbacks! We all can learn a lot from one another’s mistakes (even tho this wasn’t your fault) and it’s nice to see the work around
For making stuff look evil sunken eyes are very good there are other ways to really push that feeling as well. My favorite is the very wide eyes but then you focus on the mouth and make it feel wrong or uncanny which becomes the focal point and gets some really cool effects. Or very large but empty pupils to invoke the same effect. Not sure if I described it right kinda hard over text. Either way great drawings man.
That's super cool, I actually have been drawing like that myself as of recently, it's fun to be surprised as you're working and that's what that helps do!!
i just finished to ink a lobster. it comes out very well. im trying to creating a visual library of sea animals to create cretures in the future mounth.
I just finished a drawing a female assassin. She looks like a female version of Chow Yun Fat with long hime cut blond hair. I think i done a good job 😊
That first “disaster” kind of looks like a 3/4 view of an evil robotic dragon head. I could see some neon blue in that right slit of an eye socket, the jaw looks like jagged metal and the horns play nicely off the back of the head….
I love sooo much your content, it really helps me!! When I'm watching your videos I feel like I'm drawing with a friend!!! Thank you so much! Oh and about the pokemon, what about Gengar and Hypno? Make them in your style is going to be amaaazing!!! Hugs from Brazil!!❤
The thing I noticed with your favorite alien/insect/cybertech creatures is, that they mostly have impressive teefers, claws, tentacles but I don't think I've seen any that come with ears😉
I just started doing this and it's hard! You make it look so easy though. I tried the technique you made a video about with tea or coffee stains but when I look at the shape I can sit there for probably 5min and just try to figure out how to proceed. It's super hard to just randomly lay down some lines without a plan or expectation. I suppose it's a learning curve and I just need to keep doing it. It's fun though, so I'll keep doing it. Maybe it'll train my mind and imagination to see shapes and let the paper and pen speak. Love your content btw👍👌
The key to sketching it is to just dive in, count to six then dive in, one of the biggest block any artist runs into is overthinking, the other thing to keep in mind it’s just paper you’re not gonna ruin it, there’s also another page.
I just dont like my art. No matter how much people say "but its good" i just dont agree. Its one of the reason i never finish my pieces. I also feel lost. Dont know how to improve the best way. Its hard to tell if i am Challenging myself enough or if i am doing things that are overwhelming me and thats why i feel so tired after evey sketch i make.
Idk about the eye theory. I draw some super creepy creatures with very large eyes. Over accentuating them and make them big. Really weird, very creepy.
Nice drawing work, but too much inane chatter. Maybe just actually talk about the process when there is something to explain. No need to talk continuously, so much seems like you are just filling time.
There once was an ancient reptile that looked a lot like your "hammerhead" monster. It was called Atopodentatus! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atopodentatus?wprov=sfla1

Daddy art, did you go to art school AND how do you come up with these designs? :D (I'm never calling someone that again)

4:10 Brazil mentioned💥💥💥💥💥🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
4:02 for example, reminds me of "Glukkons" from Abe's Saga, in a way

Super cool!
I haven't been doing creature design in a while but man I really love your videos
Awesome, thank you!
Great video thank you!
Glad you liked it!
Mr. Mime could be terrifying, maybe also Machop
I think you doing your interpretation of an imposter amongus would be very interesting. I'm sure your son would love that too!

Yes Yes Yes and Bloody Yes! :D
Not the amogus💀 🙏
Turn the last one upside down. Put the eyes on the ends of the 'hammerhead' bit and imagine the 'eyes' as cysts or boils 👌🏻
The thing I noticed with your favorite alien/insect/cybertech creatures is, that they mostly have impressive teefers, claws, tentacles but I don't think I've seen any that come with ears😉
Venusaur ❤ also love your work man really been helping me get back into drawing

Hey. I've found success with the scribble method you teach. Do you have any advice on drawing for comics or graphic novels?
Comics and graphic novels is about telling a story. With comics, your poses and body features need to be exaggerated.
I've been saying for ages that I want to see Fromsoft's take on a Pokemon game 😂 now I want you to design the characters.
My best results are when I don't care
18:59 laughing because what it looks like lol

Idk about the eye theory. I draw some super creepy creatures with very large eyes. Over accentuating them and make them big. Really weird, very creepy.

Nice drawing work, but too much inane chatter. Maybe just actually talk about the process when there is something to explain. No need to talk continuously, so much seems like you are just filling time.
Nope. I'll keep doing what I'm doing. Thanks for your opinion.
