@@shamirpatel3569 I mean, this has no personality at all. It looks like a new builded house furnished for a general public, I didn't see anything personal in it.
moonbeeps but as someone who as a real estate developer who preaches the classical styles of architecture and you are right that it’s fairly soulless but at the same do you want feel as if you’re going to puke as the house is gaudy and gross stylistically. Being a Try Guys fan, I'm so happy to see all the comments about how sweet Ned and Ariel are together particularly from people who don't know who they are :) Ned ADORES her, they are goals!
About the grass problem: You need to water your plants really early or late in the evening when the sun is gone, this is because of the Calvin cycle in plants and the stomata they have. Sorry about errors, English is not my first language
Hi Ned and Ariel, To fix your back lawn, consider a high drought-resistant, low growing, moss! There are a lot of them that are soft and stand up well to wear and tear, require low maintenance, and won't be affected by the fungus! Good luck!
When a *really bad* earthquake happens. To be up to code California houses have to be able to withstand pretty intense earthquakes. Unless the big one happens they'll be good.
Hi, nice home! The brown patches might be related to the time you’re watering the grass. If you irrigate it during the day, combining water with sun light, can increase the likelihood that the grass gets “burned”. I suggest trying to water the lawn during the dark/night.
I was a gardener for 10 years..and night time watering is bad for fescue lawns. During the day is bad too as you said because the lawn could get burned. I have always found the best time to water is early morning just as before the sun rises.
Just gotta love the fact that they respect Wes' privacy and autonomy so much that they knock on his door. You can see it in his confidence too, he has his own space that gets respected, i love it.
The asian in me is just "....wth....." when they stepped out into the yard and then walked into their house and walked allllllll around with the same shoes
I dont think that this is such an asian thing to think hahaha Americans are just strange 😂 besides, it was probably just an exception because them and their house got filmed (since they have a toddler, i think they would take off their shoes at home)
@@anja-p Plenty of people wear shoes outside and the same shoes inside all over the house regardless of having children. Meanwhile the idea of it being "gross" to have the outside touching things causes a major lack of immunity in children. Kids are hardy, things shouldn't be so sterile.
I'm italian and I felt the same😂😂 no one comes in my house with their shoes on.. Absolutely not. My mum would kill them😂 or now that I live alone I would kill them for dirtying the floor I just cleaned🙅😂
I know everyone thinks this house is attainable but in the L.A area a home like this is going for 1.5 mil and up. The only people who own decent homes in California metro areas are people whose home was passed down to them or have a household income of 250k and up.
So true, the market is crazy right now. In 2012, this house was probably $600,000. Right now, 1.5 million. It’s insane. Native Angelinos are hoping for a huge earthquake to scare all the new people moving to LA away so the market can go back to normal.
Exactly. This house is not affordable for most people. I'm guessing $1.5M just for the original house (I believe they live in a very trendy area) and then a lot more $$$ for the total remodel.
Ariel is such a beautiful and nice woman. I literally love her personality, seems like a complete sweetheart. Ned is lucky and Ariel is lucky to have him. Ned is a very nice, loving and caring person. Beautiful couple. ❤️
Now this is a “normal” home. Lol not one of those mansions with thousand year old artifacts hanging on walls. Not that there’s anything wrong with it but THIS right here is relatable. 🙌🏽
I agree on the mansions part, but there isn't anything interesting about this home nor its interior to be featured on one of the most famous design magazines...
I remember having a sinking feeling about their relationship during this video, when Ned kept opening drawers and Ariel was clearly upset about it, but put on a smile to gently make him aware of it. It's one of these things that I hate about the idea of "men just being silly and not understanding things women care about" I had a feeling that Ariel and Ned probably talked about this house tour and inviting a camera crew over to their private space and which things were okay to show and which things should be off limit. I could swear that she probably told him clearly which things not to open and that he didn't listen or didn't care. To me it felt like a lack of respect and care. She deserves so much better. Small things like that often show the cracks forming. A partner should take you and your needs seriously always.
The term for 'men just being silly and not understanding' or not trying to understand is called 'weaponised incompetence'. You know, when the man needs a list to go to the grocery store, they complain about having to go shopping, they pretend they don't know how to clean properly, you get the picture. So their partner just does everything for them and they go on being a stupid man baby.

Ariel is such a goddamn hero. Like, she literally renovated this house while she was PREGNANT?? Riveting the deck right before going into labor like it's just your average Tuesday?? I will never not stan, Ned is so lucky to have her
Its great and all, but lets not spread this idea that its greater than it is. Pregnant women are not useless doormats. Theyre not porcelain teacups. If pregnancy were such a physical detriment, we probably would've gone extinct long ago.
How is doing something while pregnant a huge feat? She was pregnant, not disabled.
Just had some flashbacks of Ned saying "MY WIFE" in every video.
Sophia Grande she isn’t saying it’s a disability. she’s saying she’s proud of ariel because it’s a lot of stress to deal with a baby in your stomach constantly kicking and making you vomit and all that. always read into it rather than jumping into conclusions

It’s good to see a normal house.
Why? I mean, its a design magazine channel.. Why would you want to see a regular looking house?
moonbeeps you know what I mean a house that is kitch or camp but tasteful and beautiful as sometimes properties can have no soul especially when they are older houses that have been updated and all the details have been removed and just left out of the renovated house but here there are some of the original features but also anything new is sympathetic to the original property.
This house is designed with a family in mind but at the same time when they say Spanish mission, I think of the moorish influences of the beautiful tiles and use of adobe but the house was 1970’s with the ugly slats on the wall so in all honesty it’s not my cup of tea but I do prefer it now to before when it was stuck in the 1970’s.

It’s crazy and scares me how “when an earthquake happens the patio will stay but the house will fall” was a casual sentence.
It's all relative. I live in the Midwest and tornado warnings, extreme wind and rain don't scare me.

Evening is best.
Yes, I agree, I was about to write the same suggestion
Kano well that’s California for you
I was a gardener for 10 years..and night time watering is bad for fescue lawns. During the day is bad too as you said because the lawn could get burned. I have always found the best time to water is early morning just as before the sun rises.
You should either water super early in the morning, or super late at night

I know everyone thinks this house is attainable but in the L.A area a home like this is going for 1.5 mil and up. The only people who own decent homes in California metro areas are people whose home was passed down to them or have a household income of 250k and up.
Not attainable for LA prices, but attainable for TX money or anywhere outside of California.
yeah its just a "home" that attainable. They dont even really show the location or views they have.

A 5k$ Saarinen tulip dining table is not exactly relatable to everybody though...
@@moonbeeps I think because they did a lot of the stuff themselves, also considering that the house was built in the 1920s
I remember having a sinking feeling about their relationship during this video, when Ned kept opening drawers and Ariel was clearly upset about it, but put on a smile to gently make him aware of it.
It's one of these things that I hate about the idea of "men just being silly and not understanding things women care about"
I had a feeling that Ariel and Ned probably talked about this house tour and inviting a camera crew over to their private space and which things were okay to show and which things should be off limit. I could swear that she probably told him clearly which things not to open and that he didn't listen or didn't care. To me it felt like a lack of respect and care.
She deserves so much better. Small things like that often show the cracks forming. A partner should take you and your needs seriously always.
I also feel like he's kind of talking over her a lot of the time even though she's the one who designed everything
