I come from the era of turntables so all types of scratches are no problem but at the my age of 52 and wanting to dj small gigs I really want the ability to be able to implement fast and quick mixes , so what controller would you recommend and why. Am learning a lot from you on this controller. I have the same one. Your dope. I feel like I have to apply a lot of pressure on the jog to scratch of even reverse. Feel like it’s a sensitivity issue.
what type of sync in the settings did you have this on to still use BPM Transition? And the Sync did not affect the transition and it goes to it's original BPM? That is brilliant!!!
Great mix… I have the Rev 7 and I think I may prefer this unit.. Although I like the Rev 7’s onboard Fx better.. but I prefer the cdj jog wheels… 🤷🏾♂️
@@DJIRONi understand that but that’s only to loosen or tighten the jogs. I meant pressing on the platter itself there is no way to decrease or increase the pressurized platters.
Dj iron if you had to make one purchase for the long haul would you choose the rev 5 or the Hercules T7? I come from the days of turntables with moving platters and scratching is no problem so i kinda dont mind keeping up with technology as far as jog wheels, so what would you choose, i really dont see myself upgrading no time soon so ......THE REV 5 OR HERCULES T7?

Even if the rev5 is not motorized I would prefer the rev5.

It's an auto BPM and sync feature on this particular unit from pioneer.
Think you need beatgrids enabled and edited to do this though.

The wheels are nothing like the cdj 3000’s but they are decent!

Does the needle only reset to 12 o clock, or can you adjust to reset at the 2 o clock position?
I hate mechanical jogs however i heard the Rev5 doesn’t require as much pressure as the ddj 1000? Can you confirm this? Dope mix!

So I wonder if the jog on the cdj 3000’s is a Mechanical jog because the rev 5 jog looks similar to the 3000’s but is no where near as dope!
