Won an Oscar for sound design. Still the best film sound effects around. I’m not too happy with the new color grading but seeing it restored like this is mind blowing, for me who’s been rocking the VHS, then DVD’s... starting in 1992.
Glad to see James Cameron digitally editing his films to "fix" continuity errors unlike George Lucas digitally editing his films to "add" continuity errors.
Holy Crap. So they did keep the windshield in after all! Finally found the video that has it. Wanted to see it so bad. That's amazing how they kept it in like that.
*sigh* It stands for " 9 feet 11 inches " and is there to let vehicles attempting to pass under it know how high the enterence way is so you dont scrape your roof if your vehicle is too tall.
Next time you go through an underpass where trucks can go through you are likely to see 2 numbers side by side that represent feet and inch. its something that alot of truckers need to knowso they dont scrape up or damage there truck.
I've always hated how the front suspension of the truck auto-fixes itself after the drop. The wheels go totally wrong and the camera even points that out. But after a cut the truck is changed and the wheels are again aligned. :-(

And Dennis Murren with ILM, and the late great Stan Winston winning there Oscar for the SFX work too.
Laserdisc as well Dick B Danglin.
Didnt know Arnold did his own stunts in this, good thing the 4k proved he really did ride that bike, FINALLY, 4k brings out the truth! HAHAHA
Snick 35 that was not Arnold that was Roseanne!!
@@turbosucks LOL!
No bro, it wasn't Arnie, actually in the previous version you can see Arnie's stunt double.
@@Duairy sarkasm dude....
@@Duairy twas a joke my guy
2:16 I love this shot, it's my favorite from the entire movie. That stuntman was a fucking badass to avoid being crushed by the tow truck...
THIS is how you improve a scene with digital effects.
I wish they got rid of that dummy though, before the truck explodes.
This scene is the definition of BADASS!
After seeing the abysmal Dark Fate trailer... everything in this movie feels perfect... even the enhancements
Glad to see James Cameron digitally editing his films to "fix" continuity errors unlike George Lucas digitally editing his films to "add" continuity errors.
@@DAN420. Unlike Lucas who had no involvement in the Last Jedi.
@michael mccormack James cameron also looked over the script.
That is still the best damn shotgun flip I’ve ever seen and still get excited every time I watch this movie.
Dang, did they digitally put Arnold's face on the stunt guys?
only the obvious stunt man scenes yeah
Yes and the fixed the glass from the truck when it crashes down, Cameron trying erase his mistakes
@@Zhertzpro , and yet they didn't want to CGI-align the front wheels of the truck that obviously go bust.
2:17 on 0.25 speed you can see they just put a picture of arnie over
You should have seen it in the movies in 2017. I'm sure every fanboy had a smile ear to ear.
2:36 They replace Arnies stunt doubles, but they kept Robert Patrick's crash dummy XD
2:18
They fixed the obvious stuntman from the original version!
And the glass from the truck when crashing down
Holy Crap. So they did keep the windshield in after all! Finally found the video that has it. Wanted to see it so bad. That's amazing how they kept it in like that.
Dude I looked all night for this version too! haha
Why did they bother. At 0:27 they left it half hanging out anyway.
Henry Le exactly...
You people need to get a life. Wtf
@@henryleUA-cam Lol, you just triggered James Cameron.
The best action movie ever made bar none! Predator 1 runner up anything after those may be considered 3-10
Agreed. All of these stupid superhero movies would be NOTHING without this masterpiece lighting the way
"Caution 9-11" I don't know why I never noticed that before.
revelation
*sigh* It stands for " 9 feet 11 inches " and is there to let vehicles attempting to pass under it know how high the enterence way is so you dont scrape your roof if your vehicle is too tall.

Finally
*the windshield didn't fall off lol*
What a fucking brilliant movie.
It looks alot better now. Though that face just looks wierd.
Looks fine
Liquid terminator looks like a shit you don't wanna mess with. Pure evil
I like how they fixes mistakes in this version but dislike color correction everything is more dark and have weird green filter
to match the first Terminator film tone
I didn't like the colour either, still prefer the original even with stunt man.
1:16-1:19: amazing sounds
Good God this is such an epic movie.
2:19 - Agh!!!!
They altered the head of Arnold`s stuntman! What`s the point? And why not do the Edward Furlong`s as well???
Ironclaw XII 0/10 transfer, no CGI dancing aliens
Favorite scene of the movie
1:32 very left side you may see camera shadow
Dud that is crazy detail you found! @ 0:27 did you see how the window is half attached and then in the next scene its not?
How is it I am more edge on my seat after seeing 5 seconds of this scene than the latest 3 movies. Even though I know what happens.
Rest in peace dirtbike
They fixed the windows falling off when the truck landed in the water canals.
they forgot this 1:04 lol
What is ?
@@83marceloa STUNT DOUBLE
George From Jungle, 2:44 as well.
@@83marceloa replay many times you will see CGI effect fail when he turn head very fast
so much contrast!
02:31 warning, septembrer 11 ;)
Well.....the windshields didn't fall out.
Сцену с разбитыми вылетевшими стеклами грузовика после подения исправили. Когбудто целы остались. Что по-сути было ляпом фильма после такого подения.
0:28 glass?!?
I've always hated how the front suspension of the truck auto-fixes itself after the drop. The wheels go totally wrong and the camera even points that out. But after a cut the truck is changed and the wheels are again aligned. :-(
02:43 that wasn't Eddie Furlong
I have always loved it when Diesel fuel explodes ROFL!
Who said it was diesel fuel?
Huh. He kept "Caution 9-11" in.
Well, yeah. 9-11 is for police. The T-1000 is dressed as a police officer
Luke M, 9-11 here refers to the clearance level.
Why does the sky keep changing from white to blue?
I think they fucked up color correction everything in this version is more black and have green filter
this video was uploaded exactly 1 year ago today
OMG, headset sound
Fucking glorious
1 word Auto motion plus makes this scene look ALOT more believable otherwise it looks like somone put arnies face on the stunt double lol
But Is it better than VHS?
70 mph 125cc
9 people are liquid metal and machines
The new color timing is atrocious. They obliterated the movie and took all the fun out
Scott Sullivan Don't watch it then
3 Frag Jag - I love Terminator 2 though. They destroyed the 4K version
The fixes they made probably have something to do with the contrast (i.e. using CGI to correct Arnold's stunt double's face in certain shots).
The „new“ color timing is closer to the original 90s Prints. The old DVD / BD was an old master with pale and purple colors.
I don't know. I think this scene needs a big brontosaurus looking creature to walk across the screen, covering the whole shot.
Why stop if he knew the shotgun was not lethal?
Freeze it at 1:59. TERRIBLE.
What are you referring to?
Looks fine
The head replacement’s attempt at movement is more unconvincing than the mask the stuntman was wearing.
