They often let them ramble on so the longer bodycam video will show clear signs of intoxication when it’s played in court.
@@J-B-P for 5hours? come on that cop DRAAAAAAAAAAG that sht too long.
Ha! His body cam showed dude is impaired or mentally slow in first five minutes, the rest is icing on the cake. Tell me I don’t know what I am talking about, retired from 20 years road patrol, NYSP. Had to deal with this crap way too often. Made me not enjoy being around intoxicated people anymore (ie. when you are with friends and they are drinking and you aren’t). Granted there are some happy drunks, and some even under arrest will bring a smile to everyone’s face just because they are so funny and happy. People like this guy test your patience far too long. No one cares if you aren’t happy Jack ass driver.
@@J-B-P makes total sense, but I don’t think they even needed that much evidence for this guy. 😆

Quote of the year!
Better than over arresting him I guess 😂
I have the right for my phone to be next to my dad. Where is my dad
Clearly a dad. The amount of maturity shown by this officer is awsome.
It's so refreshing
Exactly he get it he is a well respected cop
Yes, absolutely!!!
The officer knows how to deal with toddlers for sure😂😂😂
The fact that you named your son, Dakota clearly indicates he’s going to jail.
When your name is something you can drive, you're destined for a life of Pall Malls and Bobby LaBonte t-shirts
Never a good sign when you’re a dude with a stripper name like Dakota
Why is the cop treating a grown ass man like he is a child? Why is his mother treating him like he is a child? Just drag him out of his car and arrest him. Hit and run, obstruction, aggravated drunk driving and whatever else.
Same reason whinning lying Trump is treated like a child...he is a narcissist and lies like a rug
Because he's a white privileged brat.
"People" like him tend to have chimpanzee-like strength, I'd say the cops took every precaution
You're using common sense.😂❤
Because he is autistic
He acts like a 4 year old! It’s bizarre
He seems somewhat slow.
He most likely has the reasoning and cognitive abilities of a young adolescent. Add alcohol you get this disaster.

“First things first”
A grown-ass man calling his mommy.
What a guy.
He seems mentally stunted.
When the mom said “OHHHH I know EXACTLY who it is!“, it became clear to me that she’s just going to blame this whole incident on the influence of her son’s “bad friend“
Exactly as I thought. She never holds her son accountable for any actions. Stay safe out there Leisa Western Australia

The police officer calling his mommy for a grown up man is is hysterical. It was very respectful of him to call her back.
Well I mean.... she --- is --- going to be wondering why her little man isn't showing up for din-din. So..... they had to call her up.

Great cop
Obvious this guy was drinking and driving with no regard for innocent people on the road. He deserves jail time.
His gaslighting tank was on empty.

An absolute worm. That is the most vivid example of an overgrown infant that I have ever seen in my LIFE! He's hopeless baggage to those around him.

You can get drunk, drive, smash into someone, flee the scene, deny you did it, resist arrest, and then get told you can be released from jail tomorrow morning. What a joke!!!
Same day if he co-operates.
This would be for a first offense and would typically result in the loss of a drivers license for months or years and heavy fines
Thats IL for ya
That’s normal you get 8 hr hold on dui then you’re released usually.

Parents MUST raise "adults". Please stop raising "children". The world needs more adults. We have plenty of children. Do your job, parents. When you don't, THIS is what we get.
So if you are a grown adult that goes out and gets drunk, has a wreck, acts disrespectful, it’s the parent’s fault. You people need therapy stop blaming others for a persons behavior. The only person responsible for his actions is him!!
