What a cowardly, irresponsible father who is teaching his daughter (among others) that the truth doesn't matter, just getting away with a wrong doing does. Who amongst us hasn't made a terrible choice in our lives? What sets one man above the other is the person who faces the consequences of their choices with dignity. Instead of having the respect of others for owning up to what he did, he acted like a child and ran away. The daughter clearly has no respect for the police either. What a sad legacy you are sowing Mr. Lindemann.
Not sure any of her yapping was even needed. However how long are they allowed to detain a non suspect or non witness to a crime based on hearsay and speculation?
How would it fall far from the tree? Like it falls out of the tree, straight on the ground. That’s how gravity works. You ever seen a tree throw an apple? What a dumb phrase. We need to say something different to identify shitty daughters.

Maybe if these two pathetic girls listened to cops or TEACHERS, they wouldn't sound so ignorant and criminal (obstruction of justice).
Yes but these are not moral enforcement troopers they are law enforcement officers so if the girl chooses to exercise her fifth amendment right. she is not a witness or a suspect and she is not aiding and abetting then they have no legal right to kidnap her. Legally they have no right to hold her. She must be free to go, like it or not.People have rights and government does not get to force them to cooperate if they choose not to. That’s why they used to call this the land of the free and the home of the brave although it seems to have become the land of the free and the home of the slave mostly due to the lack of respect for the Constitution and each citizens inalienable rights.
They only had the one boat, and the boat is an antique. It has to be repaired which takes skilled craftsmen to repair it, as you can't just go out and buy another paddlewheel pontoon ferry at your corner drugstore. Also the Loos company is most likely waiting for the civil lawsuit to see if he can be awarded money to repair the boat. Hopefully they win, since allegedly the suspect owns "half the town" so he should be able to easily sell a business in town and forward the money over. Sounds like individual boat passengers either from the suspect's boat or the ferry boat will also ask for a personal injury settlement too. Keep in mind what his daughter said, he just got divorced so that money will be taken away from him too for the divorce settlement itself on top of this crash. Maximum sentence is almost never given out because it depends on how many crimes the person has committed and how much damage etc they caused and most cases very rarely match the highest of those criteria.

I think you're a liar.
since he wont get in much trouble. hope they sue him for everything hes got
If this man didn't have money he would have served a few years

“Oh boy…” 😂😂😂😂
@@rlclips8661 definitely the best line of the video.....
i had to rewind, wasnt sure if i heard what i thought i heard 💀💀
Kudos to the Captain of the victim boat! 👏 He took care of his passengers instead of trying to go vigilante to ID the perp
THESE PEOPLE NEED TO SUE THE CRAP OUT OF HIM
And the daughter, needs to sue the cops for illegal detainment.

That POS got off lightly. That's BS!
Lightly? He escaped justice because he bought off the system with ca$h. It's the American way.
This video covered this better than local media.
Local media doesn't put out 30 min videos...
@@buddlybear no shit but it still covered it better lmao
@@xsongforsaya Well I'd hope a 30 minute video does a better job covering it lol
Great observation! That's like discovering that the sun is brighter than the moon
I wouldn't rely on it. There's a video where they left out officers handing over a citation (read, ending the stop) then used force in response to a denial for search that resulted in a chase where they shot the guy dead.
All after the traffic stop ended, just to paint the blue line in a better shade.
After all that all he got was house arrest and probation
Essentially he can just run his business from home and that’s it. It will be more like a staycation than a punishment. He’s a rich twat who’d have ever luxury at his home. Absolutely disgraceful sentence.
Just wait till the lawsuits come pouring in.
She should lose his boating license for life.
You missed a LOT.
He must have been friends with the judge to get such a light sentence.
Not friends he just has a big wallet
It was a reasonable sentence, I think. I imagine the civil suit will be quite the hit for him.
The criminäl gifted him a boat, *totally* unrelated. 😂
Reasonable sentence? No way! 5 months at his mansion on house arrest! He may as well have been sentenced to his Restaurant & BAR for 5 months! 🤬
This seems more like a situation that would occur in Florida rather then Wisconsin lol
Those Girls are like the supreme examples of Attitude you do not need on this world.
"bla bla i wont i wont. then i want i want" bro its hillarious
No offense ment, just hope they might watch this and read it.
Thank you
There rights were violated, they were detained illegally.
Ya, she did ask for a cigarette more than once.
@@SnarkyAdjTv They were not detained illegally. Dont speak on things you dont know. They had information about the investigation. Withholding of evidence/information is indeed a crime. It could almost be considered collusion as well since she spoke with her dad etc etc. "detained illegally" cmon dude
How so? What was the illegal about the detainment?@@SnarkyAdjTv
@@SnarkyAdjTv She was not illegally detained.
Very cool touch to add the GoFundMe link, as well as the additional context of the trial. Much more effort and nuance than a lot of body cam content posted here, and it's appreciated.
Completely agree. Shows class.
That scow was never worth $4700.
@@Rabindranath5403 Welcome to Midwest Safety, quality channel and super educational.
Okay you caused an accident and your first thought is self-preservation, not helping anyone. How absolutely sickening and absurd.
Daughter is a bit too arrogant. The smug attitude and withholdilng her dad’s name and phone number, then several times putting the officers requests on the back burner as IF she has something more important to do??? Ugh.
Does not even CARE that her dad colliding with the other boat caused injuries??? And blatantly lying to officers. AND she and her friend think it’s funny?
I can’t. SMH
"I take full responsibility for my actions" preceeded to plead not guilty. What a joke of a human
Don’t be like Jason or his daughter 👍🏽
I got in trouble in school once because when we said the Pledge of Allegiance, I finished by saying, "With liberty and justice for all who can afford it" I got written up for saying that, it got a laugh from the class, but damit! I was right.
I got in trouble for refusing to say it lol
@@WoeBringer1195 ha...
I got written up and sent to the "Dean" (some windbag who wasn't the principal but he acted like he was) because I refused to stand and say it. Got sent back to class when I dropped off a folder of several previous lawsuits against schools saying you didn't need to stand.
You NAILED it.
@@Slvt4Bread HOW did it HURT you to say it?
He has two felony charges on his record now, that will make his business harder to insure, his personal finances a lot harder to secure and any future contracts a pause from the other side. He might have only got 5 months house arrest, but his business will slowly burn out which will be a lot more painful.
