Same here. I used a vision board with great success in my late teens and early 20s, then...lost my way somehow. I think my goals were too material and I neglected to consider a longer-lasting contentment such as a safety net and having a community to build me up instead of one that I competed with (like the Jones). I inwardly needed intellectual stimulation, yet settled on buying crap and looking good.

A vision board is really the best thing you can have on your bedroom's wall. It contains everything that you like with your own design and it motivates you. Do you have a vision board? Are you planning to make one?
I found it easier to make a few digital ones and keep it as my wallpaper. But, I might make a psterboard one again - like I did 30 years ago. In the past, I've made digital slideshows, as well, and -for a short time - those helped me get in shape.

yes and no. i don't want things or circumstances enough and so have no motivation. I want certain things (freedom, peace, solitude, my own home and garden), but not enough to sacrifice for them. That worries me and seems very self-destructive. My piont is that there needs to be a balance of desire and being grateful for what you have. I am out of balance.

At least, I hope it is just temporary. yikes
