Dude your build videos are awesome. I'm actually playing origins now and am building your arcane warrior build which is awesome btw. Your guides are simple, clear and modern easy to follow. A lot of older build videos (even some newer one) have no explanation or are confusing. You explain it clearly and it easy to understand and well put together and having the doc of the build helps soo much as well and its easy to follow You've definitely earn my sub and I'm sure if you make build for Veilguard your channel will grow and explode fast. Cant wait to see what you come up with in Veilguard the skill tree looks so much more complex and I'm sure your guide will help so much in understanding it. Good luck my guy and I look forward to seeing more!!!
Thank you so much! That’s why I started making videos because I replay rpgs a lot and I don’t like slogging through 30min of poor explanations just to play the game or even worse it ends up being a bad build. I wanted quick videos that show off the build play style for even myself to look back at when I replay the games.
I have seen three builds so far that you have made and I have to say that they are amazing and I love the fact that you put two weapon options for those that might not want to use the blade of tidarion. Amazing job and I can't wait to see the other spec builds.
I remember that KE was my spec for my first playthrough, and on launch the spirit blade didn't have to charge and you would just become an immortal lawnmower because of the passives in the tree giving you enough mana regen to cover the cheap blade and barrier on hit.
My favourite way to play a KE is with BOTH the Ice & Fire mines each with the array upgrade. I've done one build with Winter's Grasp (Ruin upgrade) + Frost step upgrade on Fade Step as the core of the build along with Energy Barrage, but in my current pre-Veilguard playthrough I'm going Static Cage + Energizing Step for something different, and yeah Static Cage is really winning me over for a KE, I had never really considered it before, bc they come with Disruption Field. Really feels like an elemental powerhouse, resistances almost irrelevant lol. And I agree about the Staves vs Blade of Tidarion. I've seen some people swear by the BoT for a KE but IMO it's quite dull to swing a great sword around as a mage, without any of the abilities that make warriors fun to play. Stave + Spirit Blade feels way more dynamic and fluid, getting to switch between the two move sets. Staves also win for me bc you can put spirit runes on them, which further enhances Spirit Blade.
You maked me reinstall the game just to try this build, I never was found of this spec for the mage but you changed my mind and i am glad for that, more time to spend on this beauty of a game. (forgive me if my english isnt perfect🙏😅)
Fade Cloak is amazing with ring of doubt. I'm actually a fan of Disruption Field : it helps not getting knocked dow, range attacks, and the best part is you can hold mages, Arcane Horrors, Despair demons in place. I like your build however great stuff
I grew up on Xbox so controller is always much more natural for me, especially on Dragon Age 2. Keyboard can access all abilities easier so it’s probably objectively better but I personally will always use controller whenever I can.
surprised that you would wait for fade cloak for such a long time given that with its 2nd spec and the amount of times u swing the blade this skill is the perfect counter to the knight enchanter 1 weakness the fact it gets knocked over so easily so u continue hammering down on enemies especially clutch vs dragons asides that a great build tho
For the most part after you get the core abilities at level 15 or so on all of my builds you can kind of do whatever, I just do it to give people some sense of direction. It’s also almost always best to respec off dud abilities after you get specialization (chain lightning and immolate for this build) but I wanted to make my builds easy and accessible because people just want to play the game instead of pausing for an hour to change around builds mid game and all that.
@@Red_Gael Allgood lol I was just a little confused to not see this skill in here given how op it is but yeah outside of rly tough boss battle u not gonna need this skill that often that aside tho it's a great build also finally someone who isn't blindly recommending the blade of tidarion i mean sure for barrage spam with high crit giving u a free spell and the sword swipe free barrage shenanigans is fantastic but if u wanna use more damage skills like the fire mine u rly want another staff definitely got my sub!
How about with mods that allow any armor, weapons and skill trees. Im a mage using heavy armor, sword and sword, knight enchanter and went into ice magic. Im level 5. Using spirt blade, combat clarity, and other skills around barrier. Which make it stronger, recharge it or explode when detected.
KE is pretty cool but for close range sword swinging (or axe for that matter) I prefer a 2H warrior, doesnt have so many vibrant visual effects to your abilities and less AOE/crowd control but much better single target damage.
Been playing for a week now. First time playing. Started with warrior 2h then moved to sword and shield. It feels slow!!! I hate it. Makes combat boring. Might restart and try this
Warrior is super slow feeling before specialization but Templar and Reaver both are fairly fast paced, I have video for Templar and will have Reaver up in two hours maybe watch those to see if you like the style otherwise Knight Enchanter is definitely awesome
Bro im using A Party of your builds n the Mage isnt the Main. Im confused bc it says every class has 3 specialisations but my mage only has 1 called i guess " breach mage " or something lile that. Englisch isnt my first laguage. Wth am i gonna do?
Every companion only has one spec, I’m guessing your using Solas? In english he is a Rift Mage, which I’m guessing is called Breach mage in your language. Vivienne is the one with Knight Enchanter (this build).
What would you use for materials for the blade of tidarion? I tried one with dragon bone for fire dmg, bear hide for +18 crit chance, dragon webbing for +48 crit dmg, and stormheart for +21 atk, but it won't masterwork for some reason, any recommendations?
As in your unable to slot in masterwork materials? You must first do a war table quest, I believe it’s called “finding the arcanist” or something like that. Unlocking her allows you to use masterwork materials.
if you want more damage get dexterity slots for your armor with fade touched silverite if you wanna proc full guard it does more damage than willpower or magic stat at least for my builds since i focus on dexterity and crit chance
I played through origins as a mystic knight, I always wanted to try knight enchanter in inquisition....I wish I had time before veilguard to try it out!
Nah i highly disagree, you're getting hit very often, a melee mage is a dead mage Rift mage is the best mage build with long range spells I always group enemies together and keep them together and kill them together super fast 😂 and all that from a long distance or a hill 🤣
Knight Enchanter is like the 2nd tankiest class in the game behind champion. You will never run out of barrier even if you are getting hit constantly as long as you are hitting back. I agree though that rift mage is certainly more mage like and imo a lot more fun if you want to play as a mage and not a spell sword.

thx for the video, been trying to get a good guide but everything its for end game when they got their entire skills points to make everything op
I always like DAI build videos and it was very well explained with easy language. Seeing your sub count you definitely deserve more subs.

Blade of Tidarion was the best thing I ever learnt about. I craft it even before I get to level 3😂

Tanks to this video. i will start a knew playthrough

Just subbed, your channel is great. Just wondering if you think playing on controller or keyboard is better?

What abilities should I go for while I'm level 12 while having the knight enchanter specialty?

@Red_Gael Nah It's available it just won't, everytime I try it fails😭
How do you have a picture of your Inky instead of the green hand where it shows your 4 characters top left? Lol
It's a mod, it's not my specific guy it just changes the art, alot of different options for art though
