- In this episode, Tim and Nick are off to a rough start after forgetting to hit the record button after 13 minutes of recording. What was discussed in those first 13 minutes? The world may never know. What we do know, is that Mardi Gras season is upon us and Tim and Nick discuss the celebrations at both Universal Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Nick also brings up the breaking news concerning the return of Wizards of Waverly place, which leads into a test of Tim’s knowledge of iconic Disney Channel starts from the mid 2000s. They also share some fun Hi Dad Soup moments of the week, and as always, there are plenty of tangents in between!

Tim's favorite subject in school being science and questioning everything, and Nick's favorite subject being English and just wanting to enjoy the moment... that tracks
I was going to make this exact same comment! Lol
I think we need an entire episode of educating Tim on Disney Channel!
When Nick was talking about answering viewers questions and said “folks can call in” - Tim’s face said it all - like nobody’s calling in - they’ll be texting us (referencing calling vs texting)
When Tim mentioned “banned book”, I got a shiver. That’s insane. To Kill a Mockingbird is a must read!
Nick i can't stress enough how important it is to do what you did with lukes math! Math was the bane of my existence as a child and my mom would get really frustrated with me and herself because she didnt know how to help me in a cunstructive way and that made a lasting impact on how i took math in school. Your idea was great!!! Luke will now feel confident and comfortable with himself and math!
Me screaming “Dawson’s Creek” repeatedly 😅 😂
Same!
Omg me toooooo lol Pacey for life lol 😂
Me too! #TeamPacey!
OMG me too!!! Hahahaha
The way you changed your sons frustrations over doing his math into a game was amazing!! I think is we all had parents that encouraged us, rather than getting angry with us, we all would have done better with life’s challenges. Great parenting job!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I really appreciate all the pop culture teasing. My husband is 7 years older than me and my best friend is 12 years older than me. I grew up in the same era as Nick and all of this banter over not getting each other’s references is sooo relatable 😅
Thank you, Tim for talking about the Imagineer that has been inducted. i watched the video on the Disney UA-cam channel and it is was amazing. What an incredible man.
I love these podcast. As a mom I love to hear about your dad moments. Sipping my water and listening to the “tea”.
Hey Nick, Tim never laughs at you when you don’t get a reference. Don’t be laughing at us old people when we don’t get the references lol.
Agree but maybe it could a nervous thing ? He dosnt seem like the person to mock other you know
Yall are so right, parenting is hard! Thanks for the reminder that it’s ok to celebrate the parenting wins no matter how big or small!! ❤ I needed to hear that today!! 😊
As a 34 year old disney channel veteran, and a mother of a 9 year old who's watched and rewatched wizards MANY times, I appreciate your breaking Selena gomez news. I would LOVE a reboot! Man that was a good show.
Alphabet soup and bologna sandwiches.
I am loving My Monday morning commute now!!! 🎉
Ahhh such a great dynamic, you guys have so many similarities with life but different personalities and perspectives on things. Makes for a great podcast 🙌🏻🥹 Makes morning grocery shopping more entertaining
Class A is like a bus
Class B is like a van
Class C is in between that has a bed over cab
Thanks! Came to the comments to see if anyone explained.
The adoption story yes!!!! 💙
As someone who is adopted myself, I can relate and look forward to it.
I hope you guys know you’ve accomplished the unthinkable. I’m actually looking forward to Mondays now because of you two!
I am loving the pod cast! Gives me something to look forward to on Monday mornings!
You guys are awesome! Such a pleasure too listen to/watch.
The Queen Latifah part cracked me up! That conversation was great 😂. I’m in my 40’s so I really know her as a rapper. And Doogie Howser, I loved that show! Also loved the Mardi Gras talk. We are along the Gulf Coast/panhandle area, and it’s celebrated big time here!
Another GREAT podcast! Love listening to you two! ❤😊
I am very much a Texter, whereas one of my best friends was a caller. A lot of times I would let it go to voicemail, because I would be at work or doing something. But then I started picking up or calling him immediately back versus texting him back. And I have no idea why that changed, but I am glad because he was killed in the line of duty about six months later, in 2022 and although I am grateful to have voicemails, saved with his voice on it, I feel less guilty since, I talk to him on the phone a lot more last year that he was alive. I also attempted Vlogging for a while, so I have a fair amount of video of him, and I am so grateful for that as well. Thank you for inspiring me to Vlog and capture all the precious memories.
I am loving the Disney Channel Talk! And the fact that Nick was at a taping of the Disney Channel Games is amazing! I think it would be awesome for you both to do an episode on the celebrities you have met in your life. Loving the podcast so far!
I love this podcast so much. Thank yall for doing this. 😊
Thanks for the shout out to Mobile, AL being the birth of Mardi Gras! 🥰
Absolutely loved this episode! Such a throwback to all the Disney channel shows i grew up on!
Thanks you for your time and information always a good listen . Instead of random facts that we could all just look up love the questions from fans being answered ❣️
Really enjoying these videos, you are both so fun and great dad's ❤
Love this podcast, your combo of personalities are really relatable and fun 🎉
These podcasts are so much fun! Keep them up! 😂😂
Great podcast. Love you guys together, keep up the great work
I love listening to this podcast while I'm in the gym, so great to hear your take on disney news for the week x
I love that you both bring different things to the podcast I love watching you both
Gosh I love this pod!!! You guys give me all the theme park news I crave toss in some pop culture and sprinkle in the humor throughout. The perfect recipe! I absolutely love the generational differences between you two. It’s the best of both worlds. Great show as always guys! This is totally your thing. Crussssshing it!
Love that Nick brings me back to my childhood when talking about Disney Channel shows.
Definitely will text vs call. Love the fatherhood moments ❤️
Nick, I also graduated in 2009 and it amazes me the amount of pop culture you don't know! It's wild!
Oh my! 10 minutes in and already geeked out!!! Thanks for sharing y'all's difference in the generation gap!
Listening to yall talk about Jimmy made my day
I look forward to this podcast so much!
I love the Disney channel references, I grew up in the era of HSM and Camp Rock, so it’s greatly appreciated 🧡
Lots fun as always. Thank you.
Ya'll are totally people mover. Everyone likes you. You tell us lots of things. Offers lots of views. Pretty fun. Pretty relaxing.
Very happy to have Nick representing the younger millenial pop culture and the 2000s disney channel show pop culture teaching Tim 😂
I grew up RV camping. Class A are the ones that are a flat front like a public bus and tend to be bigger and you drive. Class B is a tow on trailer. Class C is the driveable ones with a bed above the driver’s seat.
I'm really enjoying you guys podcast, it is so funny and informational. Keep doing what you're doing, guys.
I really appreciated the Disney Channel talk, especially Jonas Brothers! 😂 Thank you for that, one of my favourite things to talk about!
So I have to say that I listened to both of your favorite Jimmy Buffet songs. Being from the North East, we do not hear a lot of Buffet songs. Margaritaville is basically the only song I knew of his. I listened to Bama Breeze and thought it was ok. Since then UA-cam has put that song in my play list that I listen to at work and I cannot get enough of it. I love this song so much now. Thank you for sharing. The other 2, Hamburger in Paradise and Volcano, I think it was, needs a little more time for me. I can imagine that when in Florida and you walk into a store or cafe Buffet music is constantly on so it becomes a part of your being. It's really cool to hear both of your take on things. REALLY enjoying your banter and facts and differences and similarities. Please keep it coming.
I’m a fellow Mobile Alabama resident, thank you for mentioning that Mardi Gras originated in mobile first!!!!
Thank you for the detailed info on Fort Wilderness dates! We’re DVC members and I didn’t even have all that clear 😂🤭 but because of Tim’s notes I jotted it down now. There’s a lot of park news that we may have already heard about before your podcasts air, but I appreciate when you guys go into extra details like this!!
Def more of a Tim. I never call ppl, even if they called me. Unless it’s my mom. I will call her lol.
Loved Nicks story! What a great way to make learning fun for Luke. Math is so frustrating to me too and any way to make it engaging and fun… amazing!!!
Tim Oliver’s little story is great!
Nicks love for sharing y2k gossip with Tim makes my little heart so happy
Hey Tim, thanks for being so kind chatting a bit when we met in Tomorrowland last week! Love the podcast so far. I was going to say Miguel and Dante might be fun Summerfest Epcot mascots with how popular the Mexican Pavillion is. Hope it comes to fruition someday!
I love watching the channel. You guys make me laugh.
Major news… Nick you got a shoutout on “Tim Tracker vlog” lol😉🙂 looking forward to today’s podcast! You guys are very funny together, love the banter between you guys!! Have a great week!! ❤❤❤
Also Nick, loved how you asked for listeners to send you questions on your Insta story! Tim, I like the panned out video of the two of you, with less zooming side to side (and less editing for you makes sense with it being a Podcast.)
I have honestly been enjoying watching it on UA-cam, it’s definitely great to listen to, but even better to watch and listen 😊
This is my first time listening to the podcast instead of watching it, and I have to say, I really enjoy the difference in Nick and Tim’s voices, tone, etc. Also, in general, the audio is maybe the best this episode! Or maybe that’s just because I listened to it mostly instead of watch? Either way - great job guys! 🎉
Love listening to you two. It’s interesting because you two contrast quite a bit, but it still fits. 💝
Fairhope resident here (across the bay from Mobile), very much appreciate the mention and can't wait to read the "eye rolls" from NOLA folks in the comments! (All kidding aside, we love New Orleans and everything about Carnival season here in the south!)
I loved the bit where Tim was trying to figure out the name of the other Jonas Brother. 😂😂😂 I was rolling in laughter!
Great fun! Excellent episode 🎉 keeep up the great work.
I saw a racetrac commercial, and the girl in the commercial said, "That tracks." And it reminded me to watch, lol.
i just have to say, after tim making the “i think we all sing” reference.. this is my favorite podcast ever 😂
Perfect way to start the day! 🎉
The Jersey and The Famous Jett Jackson brought me back!! Start a segment where you watch a trailer from Disney Channel shows and original movies and give commentary on them!
This podcast was so fun!!
love the tangents
the Nick, Nick and Nick comment about the roommates has be cackling. tears in my eyes got me real good. also big fan of the Jonas brothers and also kinda offended LOL
Love these 2 they are so funny together
I'm not much of a comments person...but damn this episode was HILARIOUSSS from start to finish!! Good job guys!! Had me literally laughing by myself thru out the whole episode!! Keep on tracking!! 😜
Man I love this keep it up!
I feel like we need a solid outro for you guys. Since this is a long term project maybe you could end with Nick saying "Thanks for joining us" then Tim chimes in with "We'll be back next week" then in unison both say "And That Tracks"
This video being so quietly chaotic is my favorite 😂
Audio in episode, four is exceptional. Crisp, clear, etc.
Loving the Monday podcast. I would love to hear more of what you both did before UA-cam/social media n when did you get that light bulb moment to “dedicate” your feeds/acct to theme park (but mainly Disney)
For the:”If your podcast was a ride” question. Y’all are clearly Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. A trackless ride based on trains and super random segues? That tracks. 😉
The tech Tim was talking about sounds like the little bots Hero invented in Big Hero 6!!
I go to Lakeland fairly regularly and J Burns is a must! Love that you shouted them out because they’re so good! Also as a monsters inc fan, I would seriously love a different monsters attraction so if they did a Pixar land in magic that would be one I’d hope they’d add; because laugh floor is nice but it’s not a must do even for a monsters inc lover.
Joey doesn’t share food! 😂 Tim you made me crack up about the fries. Just get more fries! I love that answer.
After Tim gave the blue wavelength explanation … I said out loud “that tracks”
Cracking up at the J bros 😂 Jo Bros for lyfe!! 👏🏼
I'm sorry but this podcast is 100% Muppet Vision 3-D! Tangents, voices, random sciene facts, and a silly fun time to break up the day and have a rest. Also Tim sounds like Kermit and Nick kinda sounds like Fozzie so the parallels just keep coming.
Loving the show gents, keep it up!
Yay for the Alabama Mardi Gras representation! 😂❤️
N is ok, that is fantastic that you made Luke refocus his math. That’s something he will remember in years to come. I enjoy the podcast.
Cmon Tim! It’s the Joe Bros! 😂😂😂
Selena Gomez- WIZARDS!!!! So excited! BTW- I got in trouble at work today for listening to the podcast! So good!! I enjoy you two and the banter 😂😂😂😂
I was SCREAMING kevin at the screen when Tim couldn’t remember the 3rd JO BRO 🤣
I am definitely a CALLER!!
I'm in Mobile, Nick, and yes! We appreciate you mentioning that it started here! It's much more family friendly here, if you'd like to come as a family!
Somewhat simplified explanation of RV classes….
Class A - giant buses, usually diesel, engine usually in back aka “diesel pushers”
Class B - very small, looks like a van, different variations of gas
Class C - medium size, has an engine, usually has a bunk over the cab that looks like a “C” (there are Super C’s that are massive and look like a big rig)
Fifth wheel - pulls behind a truck, hitch is in bed of truck
Travel Trailer - also pulls behind a vehicle (doesn’t have to be a truck, smaller ones can be pulled behind SUVs) these attach to a hitch on your bumper
Yes, my dad worked at Bell Labs, C&P Telephone, Bell Atlantic he used to come home and tell me that someday we could watch anything on TV anytime we wanted. And he was right. They were working on the future of TV back in the 90's.
Tim great job on the camera editing. I feel like the close ups were done well.
Oh yes 😂 being from Mobile I will say we enjoy telling people we brought Mardi Gras to the US 40:06
It’s such a blast and Mobile can be very family friendly during the daytime parades if you ever want to check it out!!
I love Mardi Gras. I was born in Louisiana (half my family lives there still). I make a homemade king cake every Mardi gras & I was married on Mardi Gras.
2:05 I said Robust as a joke and then you guys actually said it 😂😂😂😂😂
If you want a holiday for throwing beans, there's always Setsubun in Japan!
I am closer to Tim’s age but all the talk about Disney I relate more to Nick as I watched these shows even though it was past my time. Also Tim not knowing who Kevin is hurts so much! I’m a Kevin girly through and through
27:14 I didn’t know that either!!!!
I wish they were putting up the new DVC cabins at the old River country ( where they were going to put that new Hotel )
Loved Queen Latifah in Taxi with Jimmy Fallon in 2004.
