- In this episode, Tim and Nick discuss their experience with the RunDisney 10k as a part of Marathon Weekend at Walt Disney World. They are recording straight from the fun of the race, so they have a fresh perspective to offer. Nick also describes the Dopey Challenge and everything that it entails as he undertakes it. The two also spend time discussing everything that is coming in 2024 to theme parks across the country! And, as per usual, they are plenty of tangents in between! Happy listening!

I like the camera view of both of you in one shot. The conversation back and forth (close up) shot is cool but I feel like the camera switching back and forth is hard to watch on short conversations. The up close single view is great on longer conversations. Use the single camera very sparingly or longer conversations,and it might help with editing too! Great job!

Gummi Bears was SO good! Watched it every morning before school. I feel like I’m Tim’s age and Nick is my little brother’s age, this is totally the banter we would have with one another. He was a bear in the big blue house, PB&J Otter, and Rollie pollie Ollie kid.
For animation courtyard- would be cool if they leaned into Disney Jr and did a toontown-esque area with the Disney Jr characters. I feel like the younger kids would love that, one of my kid’s best memories from when they were little was meeting Jake, Sophia, Handy Manny, and Doc.

Already greatly improved since the last episode! The editing between the Nick and Tim is hilarious. Some of the cuts to each other, with the audio, really adds to some funny moments.
Love the podcast, but could you please stay with the wide shot.
The sudden back and forth headshot responses with your contrast in colors was giving me a headache.
I watched it on a widescreen in the dark and it was visually overwhelming.

Oh man, we have been given some non Lego builds and that made me truly appreciate how well the instructions are for Lego. They are soooo well laid out, and easy to follow.
I just wanna say that I follow Tim for a while and now I’m enjoying watch nick, that was a great ideia to do this podcast , please do more and please talk about yourselves like how was your childhood and your life growing up and how did the love for Disney started , I would love to hear it, you guys are great together 👏👏😉👏👏
Elijah Wood was in a movie called North, the JTT movie Tim's thinking of is Wild America I'm pretty sure. I think the roller blading movie was Airborne. There was a remake of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 + 2 that came out in 2020, Xbox just bought the publisher of those games so we're hoping there's more but right now nothing is happening with the series.
Airborne was excellent. Jack Black and Seth Green were in it.
The blading movie was indeed Brink! but you are right about Elijah Wood in North. Playstation currently has a tony hawk pro skater 1 & 2 bundle
@@TheAnxiousArtist Yup, THPS 1 + 2 came out in 2020, Xbox's purchase of Activision-Blizzard was finalized just a couple months ago so everything that existed on PS before that is still there - they're not ripping games away. There's a chance that any future entries could be exclusive to Xbox -but everything from before that is still gonna be on PS.

Haunted mansion rocks but yes I want Jack Skellington represented, I have only ridden the monorail but if I lived nearby and visited more often then I would take the ferries. You two are naturals together, I feel like you will balance each other out very well

Listened during work and Nick the longer the better 😊 . Let Tim do his thing don’t put him in a box . He’s the Robin Williams of bloggers. Nick my first trip was in 1977 so I only had MK so I never want anything to change there ❣️Nothing like riding a ride with your parents and still riding the same ride with your granddaughter . Change away in the other parks 😂

I’m not the biggest fan of any of the Disney parks (I know I’m in the minority 😂) but I do love both Universal parks and look forward to Epic Universe. I hope you guys talk more about the different lands and themes coming to that park!

I agree...for reasons I won't mention, I am no longer a Disney World fan...I absolutely can't wait for Epic! It is apparent Universal scooped up Disney construction employees, because Disney can't finish anything on time (Cake Shoppe)...and what they do finish, is shoddy or lame. I don't agree that Disney attendance is up, Disney is just good at giving that illusion.
Nick, I literally dropped my energy drink all over my keyboard during the HAUNTED MANSION segment. It’s a staple, my favorite and you dont touch it 😡😡😡😡😡

I know he isn't the loudest guy in the room usually, but I do know he usually has more to say especially when it comes to his tangents🤣like I said, I'm not saying Nick shouldn't talk, but I think at some points he should pause and let tim get a few more words in. No biggie 😊
I agree @rebeccalazzell5262 , I noticed the same thing; Tim being cut off a lot. Jenn does it to him, too. Tim has the opposite of ADHD in that he can focus and stay on track (😉) and pick up right from where he was cut off and he is patient AF. I have ADHD so I can be bad about interrupting so I recognize it and don’t want to be critical of Nick or Jenn when they do it because I know it’s not intentional at all, but I admire how good Tim is at being understanding and patient and just going with the flow. He’s has amazing character.

I really appreciate you guys talking about Lego and your sons. Our son loves to take apart Lego sets and minifigs, and play with them how he wants to, and my husband wants to keep them the way they came. It makes him feel better knowing there are other dads going through the same thing. ❤
I had covid for Christmas. So we couldn't visit anyone on Christmas. We had a few deliveries from family to cheer the kids up.
Its been so much fun seeing your friendship rapport with this podcast! It reminds me of my friend group of people in their 30s and 40s, and we all have different reference points and pop culture things we educate eachother on all the time.
Nick, my son is 5 and has autism as well. The way they receive sensory relief in certain toys, shows and spaces is truly so fascinating to me! 😂

This is awesome! Glad Tim expanded and grew. This is a different side that we don't get to see just dialogue Tim. Great to meet Nick I hope they both talk more about content creation and the BTS such as legal/sponsorships. We're trying to start up our UA-cam brand but haven't made the jump to developing shorts/reels.

Ok Nick, take it back! Haunted Mansion is my favorite ride at Disney World! Look, my first introduction to Disney World and Haunted Mansion was watching a rerun of the 1970 Disneyland Showtime with Kurt Russell and the Osmond Brothers. I was probably 7 or 8, and I was obsessed with it since then. I was 36 years old the first time I went to Disney, and rode The Haunted Mansion. It was amazing, I ride it every time we get to go to Disney. Also the Simpsons ride is my family's favorite!

Love the podcast! Watching the facial expressions, and interaction between you two is halarous! I can relate with both of you on not knowing about certain shows or people. I'm 45 and grew up out in the country, in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We had 4 channels to watch when I was a kid, 3, 6, 12, and 13 which was PBS. There was no cable T.V available in our area until I was about 25. We did get a Dish when they first came out, they were huge and you had to go out and crank a handle to turn it if you wanted to change stations!😂

The Country Bears movie used animatronics and suits during filming. Some of the movie was filmed here in TN, I was able to see some filming on a soundstage here in Nashville. Loving the podcast and love having the podcast for Monday mornings!

I would too!! I have a high functioning autistic 7 yr old son and we worry about taking him to Disney because of the overstimulation as well as the fact that he's high functioning (that he doesn't seem to need a DAS)

Nick, I'm with you in relation to the haunted mansion! I sadly have to admit that I've fallen asleep on this ride a couple of times. I'm from Australia so her last can be a thing but I felt refreshed afterwards.
Motocross is the only movie I can think of with BMX bikers…idk if there were rollerblades involved lol 😆
Also jealous of Nick’s Double Dare and Slime Time Live fame! I always wished I could be on all of those shows as a kid.
18:06 I’m a little bit of a lego person. I’m pretty particular of the sets I get. I know it’s kinda not the point but I try to keep track of how fast I can do particular piece numbers as sort of records, similar to puzzle completion times.
Also, I’d like to recommend a laptop or tablet on a “side table” under the camera so you guys can do some quick lookups if you are trying to verify information. You could even get a wireless keyboard and mouse if you want to try to maintain frame as much as possible. This would also give you place for the soundboard you’re using.

I think I recognize references for both Tim's and Nick's childhood Disney channel memories because my sister and I are the same age gap as them. Can't even describe my nostalgia at remembering David the Gnome 🥹. I'd totally forgotten that one but it was such a cozy show.

Brink, you know that movie you enjoyed as a teen/young adult and was on in the middle of the night while you were in labor with your second born child. Love that movie. But the Color of Friendship is my all time favorite Disney Channel movie

I forgot to comment on this after listening earlier! The rollerblading movie was Airborne! Also, too late for this to happen, but your mention of Baymax reminded me. When Cosmic Rewind was announced, I had what I thought was a decent idea. What if Cosmic Rewind had been an update/replacement to Rockin Rollercoaster, while also anchoring future Marvel additions to Hollywood Studios, and instead, EPCOT had gotten a San Fransokyo Institute of Technology/Baymax "pavilion" and ride, building off the multicultural and technological futurism themes of EPCOT, and I feel like the placement of those two things fit better into their respective parks.

The Columbia is the ship at Disneyland that they use for Fantasmic. It used to be Peter Pan fighting Captain Hook and they changed it to Pirates of the Caribbean but it is returning to the Peter Pan fight scene.

Alien encounter I took my daughter. She laughed at me so hard when that thing touched me on the back of the neck I was crying like a baby. she road it again with her dad while I stayed with the baby and I’m thinking my child’s nuts😊
I interned at Nickelodeon studios when it was at Universal! The best summer of my life! Some of my fellow interns were hired to work as talent for Slimetime Live!!
Tech Tip: Close ups were more evenly framed for this video but the cuts back and forth were too fast. Give out some Dramamine before the podcast if you are going to cut back and forth at the end of every short sentence. Stay wide if you are going to banter back and forth in short bursts. Close ups work well on long stories. Keep going. Things will continue to improve. It's a fun podcast.
