I live in Wesley chapel, I’m in foster care. I want to box a lot more, I want to compete. Boxing has made me so happy, I’ve never worked harder for a sport in my life. When you said Tampa Wesley chapel my eyes lit up.
The one I’m looking at has a lot of good coaches that seem experienced but I haven’t seen a boxing ring or any competitive elements and I’m looki bbg to compete thanks for the video
The boxing gym I go to only does classes that are reasonable prices the 1 on 1 classes are terribly overpriced £45 and that’s not even per week that’s per per session I’m currently on a plan where it’s £45 for 2 group classes a week paid monthly which isn’t bad but the price is criminal I think I might find a new gym although I’m learning quite a lot
It depends on your goals. If your goal is to fight you should start training with a Coach to learn how to fight. The fitness aspect will be part of your training as well
@@ssjgaming1478 You don't have to but most professional boxers start off in the amateurs in order to get the experience. I would definitely recommend starting off as an amateur in order to get the experience
I’m 22 and I just got out of the military. My knee popped out of place and it has healed since the injury (December 2022) but usually when I run my knees start to ache. I want to start boxing but is there other forms of cardio you do besides running?
I'd say muaythai is better for physical fitness. You get to explode with all your 8 limbs. I started muaythai at 57, and have no athletic gift, a true desk jockey. Here is a clip when yours truly was 76++. ua-cam.com/video/Dv-vbV25SCQ/v-deo.html
Crazy I was just looking for boxing gyms in my area and Lights Out came up. I really wasn’t expecting you to say “Lights Out” is your boxing gym 😂

To clarify, I’m not good. I’m not even close. But I am willing to work hard, because this sprint makes me happy.

would it make sense to start training for fitness but as you get better train to actually fight?

Should i ask about private training even if im just starting out but want to compete (im 14 and have some experience)
Yes you should ask for private coaching if you are looking to complete and can afford to pay a good trainer
@@KeithMooreStrengththere is only 1 coach my gym
@@KeithMooreStrength should i ask him?

You should try to do at least 3 sessions per week
I'm gonna be working 9 to 5 can i still have enough time to do boxing as a career? Or do i need to have no job in order to give boxing my all
You can still have boxing as a career with a job but it also will depend on how far you want to take your boxing journey
@@KeithMooreStrength i wanna become a boxing champion. Do I have to become an amateur before I become a pro?

Is 18 too old to start boxing and having hopes of going pro and making a decent living from it?
No it is not too old but don’t wait get started now! 💪🏾

Shadowboxing and the assault bike are great forms of cardio
I like rowing machines. Bob and weave style, the weave is the side to side, but the bob, both legs pushing at the same time, is rowing.
I'm the type of person to watch instead of do 😭
LOL 😂
boxing is best and boxing is whole body for exersise? what about grappling lol
Why don’t you make a video on grappling? Clearly I’m here speaking from my own experience.
