Thank u for talking about this, there is a lack of critical thinking, people don't want to stop and analize what do we need to do on each case, they want Something that "repares" their kids... I am also a speech therspist here in Chile, latinoamerica, and every day i feel concerned to see that they just want to let kids do what they want so parents and teachers are not bodered by the kids individual characteristics, they don't want to get to know the kid's true potential...they want to keep them shut and obedient.

you must be a great speech therapist. You are right, as a neuro divergent kids mom, I feel most of aba therapy just let those kids tamed,it makes me uncomfortable. In short term, it seems aba works, but as a human being, education should be a long term plan. I didn't say aba is not working, however, if it works, the therapist has to be a great person who loves kids from heart bottom, and he has to be a knowledge person who knows every reason behind the behavior include physcial condition and other.anyway,it seems not much this kind of bcba or therapyist in USA😢

Hey there Ming, I watched quite a few of your videos this morning, thank you for this amazing resource.
My son just turned 6, he has a speech delay, particularly around using correct pronouns. He communicates fairly well otherwise, he's social and he can learn games and different kind of play well, but he's still speaking at a level probably 2-3 years behind where he should be. "She" becomes "her," "we" becomes "our," "they" becomes "them."
Do you already have a video out discussing that particular issue, or do you discuss something like that in your book? I appreciate any advice. Looking for help online with "pronouns" as a keyword in search mainly comes up with political topics and other things I'm not looking for.

Yes it is ok unless the therapist is taking it to an unnecessary liberaty level and invasing or punshing unccessarily just because the child is not responding simply because he is unwell or has not slept enough or not in the mood a particular day I had a really bad experience with my child's therapist and I had to call off the sessions all togeather after that
