Ming, i was watching the hitting video but has to segue…. i have a fabulous story to tell you … I used your “open” sign and used it with a gallon clear plastic container. My new container has a lid too big to twist off. The container holds all my grandson’s little match box cars. Before …. If he couldn’t get them or access them, there would be a major tantrum. Because of your videos my grandson is now asking me to open …. He says “open” - hands me the big jug and I continue to use my hands and say …yes Open” …. This took a couple of weeks…. Still working on this scenario… he would dump the cars all over for to mess or to hear the sound of dumping cars… it’s gotten better. He’s four and that little word “ open” I has been like a key. “Open door” if you want to go out side. “Open gate”… ok let’s go for a walk. I’m watching your videos and trying to apply what you are teaching us all…. Thank You!

I grew up in a home where if we had hit one of my parents, we would have hit the opposite wall. FYI, I did not raise my kids that way.
same if non verbal kid dont like anything they always hit,pinching ,biting...and when we fulfill all there wishes they will happy and jumping
My nephew is going throught that right now and my sister and brotherinlaw do not give him any discipline at all, lately he has been hitting my fatherinlaw when they come to visit and i dont know what to do besides get angry with him he is 21 years old and has never been made to go to school he is non verbal and he constantly pills down his pants and runs into public it is so out of hand that they have not and still do not teach him any manners i feel he understands me but cannot communicate so he gets frustrated i hare to keep telling him no and dont im at my wits end and he has also started to hurt ours and my fathers pets that we have to watch him constantly when they visit i get so mad at my sister for not giving him the proper discipline and not doing anything to stop him

Your nephew is an adult so not as easily manageable as a child This is a shame that these behaviours have continued to this age as I'm sure it makes a difference to how much quality of life he has. Sending care❤
My son hits me whenever I tell him not to do things like when he throws his toys, or when he hits his sister. He will listen to me at first then he will say i love you then when i reply back he will hit me
Can this apply to siblings? Or tips for them hitting children? my son hits his sister and she can’t really give a neutral response because she’s hurt and will cry.
