Mike Jones: Much respect from life-long airgunner Mike White! Again, I love your setup and testing/comparison method. I was a science teacher for 30 years at the HS and college level, yet I could not have created a more interesting or valid testing process/review. Super job on your marksmanship and on the construction/display of your targets and rounds catcher. I have been trying to keep up with advances in airguns. I am VERY impressed with advances in power/precision, and AEA has obviously succeeded very well in creating powerful and dependable technology. Their "Terminator" 357 on full auto is a sight to see! Awe inspiring. I am very I interested in your upcoming test of the 30 caliber and will then make a purchase decision. Thank you again for presenting such a well thought out demonstration. Your hard work for the benefit of others is deeply respected and appreciated.
Thanks Mike for the feedback. I just retire from a 38 year career working for UPS. This Backyard Airguns UA-cam channel is one of my new hobbies. There are a lot more interesting videos coming your way.
I just noticed your neighbor's roofs in the back ground,. I don't know if you got a moderator yet, but I found one at buck and rail for Just $40 bucks that works perfectly. Now it's not gonna silence the supersonic, Bullets, but it will do everything. That's under 1100 feet per second pretty well. Plus your neighbors will appreciate it.. lol
Buck Rail make a lot of great rifle parts including moderators. I have run sound test in my next door neighbors backyard several times. I can shoot 30 cal and lower with a moderator on most air rifles and keep the sound at about 70 db one backyard over. Some of my neighbors actually shoot with me in the backyard. I use Adobe Priemer Pro. I had to teach myself how to use it a year ago when I started my UA-cam channel. I only know how to use about 20% of the software; just enough to make the videos okay. It takes me about an hour for every minute of video (a 10-minute video take me 10 hours to edit). I would rather be shooting air rifles than editing video. 😁
What is your regulator set at? Basically is the set screw sticking out two or three threads, or do You have the set screw all the way in to where there's no threads sticking out? For example , my regulator set screw has about two and a half threads sticking out, That gives me my max power. But if your regulator is not set it to 200 Bar, you're not getting the max power. Plus you do not want to go over 200 bar. That will break your regulator.. That is what Bin tac told me.
That was 9 months ago so I'm not 100% sure but I think it was around 190 BAR. I run all my AEA's in the 190 to 200 range. As you well know and have demonstrated the AEAs love big power and shoot very well amped up! 💪
Hey Carlos, I made those pellet stops for my videos and to be able to safely shoot into them. I used 2x12 boards to make the square box. I screwed treated deck boards (1 in thick) across the back. The Key part of this pellet stop is I lined the inside back of the box with 16 gauge plate steel that I bought from Home Depot. I also have a small box inside the box with rubber mulch. It is impossible to shoot through this box with any 35 cal (or less) air rifle. Thanks for watching! Mike
It is a standard AEA Challenger Pro in 22 Cal. The reg is set at 180 Bar. I use the standard hammer spring and not the heavy spring. The gun is a beast shooting at 80 FPE. Thanks, Mike
Excellent
Thanks Shun! 🙂

Thanks for sharing 👍 😊
You definitely have some of the Best reviews out there. Great job keep up the good work What software do you use to do your editing?

Awesome power!

One question, what is the autonomy of the aea challenger pro .22 with 40gr?
It is a standard AEA Challenger Pro in 22 Cal. The reg is set at 180 Bar. I use the standard hammer spring and not the heavy spring. The gun is a beast shooting at 80 FPE.
Thanks,
Mike
@@backyardairguns 👍🏻👍🏻
I have the pro in both .22 and .30, I get the same results.
I glad our results match! :-)
Eye protection Mike
Good point Frank! Eye protection going forward. :-)
