After spending a fair amount of time on aim trainers, can confirm muscle memory is a scam. Muscle memory is for things like learning a certain jump or technique for movement, it’s not for aim. I can get a score on kovaaks, switch to half that sens and get the same score. If your aim is a problem, try the voltaic benchmarks and fundamentals. Promise it will be worth your time if you want to improve your aim

But there's also another element that deals with the random and unfamiliar things.

Missed all the shots... Guy goes running out and I chase only to shoot the last 2 rounds, miss again and get 1 tapped... Yeh not my best day.

Yeah, it's really like release wipe of the mosin all over again... it went from mosin man to SVT man, and I used it a few times (not really interested in the wipe much just waiting for December major wipe) and holy sweet jesus. Only knock against it is the long ADS (due to low ergo).

A bit of history: compared to his cousin the AVS-36, the AVT-40 had many MANY problems. First, the muzzle brake was ineffective when you would go full auto. Second, the stock had a tendency to crack and break when firing the weapon. Third, since this was an SVT-40 converted into a fully automatic gun, the barrel was not made for the stress induced by the 750 rpm of 54r, all of the rifling would melt by firing just 200 rounds in full auto. This gun was made for the sole purpose that 2 years prior, in 1938 the red army had gotten rid of all of the SMG in stock. But when fighting the fins during the winter war, they realized that they needed something for close quarters combat and all they had was mosin-nagan, SVT-38/40 and a few expensive AVS-36. That why they converted SVT to this crappy automatic version.

4:43 No I wouldn't imagine that because I've never come across a FPS with less recoil than EFT. Which is something that always makes me laugh when people talk about how hardcore the game is or how realistic it is. Your character "controls" all the recoil a gun would have and you shoot bullets in completely straight lines. This game is fun but completely unrealistic.

When it comes to balance in Tarkov, I may be an outcast on this topic because I have a very "anarchistic" view of it. For me, balance does not matter that much because, at the end of the day, my actions and decisions decide mostly my outcome in a raid. If I take my fight with a Gigachad with my lvl 5 PMC and MP5 with Pst gzh and lose it. It is my fault because I tried to fight it in a disadvantageous way. If I had the choice of flanking, ambushing him, or just fleeing, it does not matter because in the end these decision leads to my survival, and I can re-focus on doing quests and killing scavs for example. If I get killed by a gun that costs about 60k roubles and I had a full kit worth a half million roubles, so be it. Like in DayZ, I also can not prohibit certain weapon spawns and the decision-making of players. That's why as an actual low-skilled player I agree 100% with you when it comes to stomping noobs. These are PMCs like everyone else and if they played smart they could had been a threat to you. When they start to play the game and quit because they die a lot, then it is not a game for them mate. Winners train, losers complain, sounds pretentious but really, what do you get done by complaining and crying and "out-calling" different players when they kill noobs? Nothing you lose. Starting late in the wipe I've been focusing mostly on weapon fashion than meta builds, really enjoying it and its gonna be even better with the new recoil change hopefully!

Something like the AVT needs to exist, new players or people joining the wipe late need something to create a somewhat competitive environment especially mid to late wipe. Maybe only make it available 1 or 2 months into a wipe.
No, there have always been plenty of decent options for joining a wipe late, not to mention that every gun in the game has the potential to 1 tap anyone with a well placed shot. Late wipe timmy doesn't need a cheap broken gun that outclasses the highest tier and most expensive guns in the game. That just doesn't make sense.
@@vitrioleco4849 There happens to be one in this video but when was the last time you saw someone running an Altyn, or any face shield for that matter, they suck and they're not worth deafening yourself over so nobody uses them, in general you'll be one tapping everybody you come across.
@@vitrioleco4849 Also the Mosin uses the exact same ammo as the SVT, and it used to fulfill the role that the SVT plays now, only it was much better balanced. Now there is no point in ever even using it anymore.
Just FYI: They reset the bosses all back to random spawns. Reshala can spawn anywhere if he's in game now. IDK when you recorded this video, but as of today, right now, Reshala has a chance to spawn in places other than Dorms.

I've always liked guns like the AVT and SVT being in the game. If people think this thing is broken, they will hate shotguns when the armor plate system comes out. Also, here's the thing: the only way you can balance guns like this is to remove them from the game. Equalizers in Tarkov, like the Mosin, are by design, unbalanced. They make it so that you're not always at the top of the food chain no matter what you do, and that's a good thing. If you put them on higher trader levels they become worthless because there are better alternatives with more options like many of the other guns in the game.
You should use the heavy bleed bandages from Peacekeeper, they only have 1 second use time, and I think they are also cheaper than the rubber band, especially if you buy them from fence. Buy the SSD drives or SAS drives from the flea, they cost less in Roubles than the USD you get for selling them to Peacekeeper. Those 2 seconds will save ur life, and the bandages are cheaper so there is no downside.
One important thing to note: Shturman's guards CAN spawn with an M1A, I've seen them with a loud M1A with 10 round mags and the 1-8x tan scope. Keep up the amazing gameplay!

The AVT kicks straight back into the shoulder in real life, very little vertical recoil. However, it's service life was 200 rounds and full auto often destroyed the guns. The balance with this should be an absurdly high chance of a jam in full auto, and incredibly fast wear (1 or 2 raids max when used in full auto)
18:36 you know you could check top right screen for packetloss at the beginning of the raid to check for bosses. Packetloss = no boss No packetloss = boss

Cheeky comment, you say? I've been calling the SVD, SVT,and AVT users; "Noob Cannons." They're affordable, easy to find (I can't count the amount of Scavs I've loaded in already equipped with one), and you can correct mistakes easily into a win with them since two shots and you're done .
The Battle Rifle concept is something insanely hard to balance in video games. Look at the SCAR-H for the modern equivalent. How in holy hell are you meant to balance fully automatic marksman rifles without making them either completely useless or completely busted? You could push it back to higher trader levels but then it pales in comparison to more expensive and more modular weapons. You could just make it more expensive but then the lack of accessibility just makes it more desirable anyway. If you up the recoil then it becomes useless compared to assault rifles. It's a conundrum but battle rifles are ALWAYS cool. Can't nerf that.
Great video as always, pleasure to watch! I own svt-40 irl and it's really hard to fire without malfunctions😂 too picky for the ammo and needs constant adjusting to shoot it reliably w/o issues. Funny they made AVT-40 that darn good, cos irl in WW2 soviets told to AVT-40 users avoid using full auto, because it was too stressfull for the gun to handle😅 everyone who has handled one of these would understand it wouldnt last long with full auto. Fun weapon in game, cant deny that after blasting couple raids with it😅
I hope this Gun stays the way it is, it's a good weapon for us players thst go up against absolute mad lads and give us a chance to maybe win the encounter 😂
It's hands down my favorite sniper. I just love the feeling of using a very old rifle but still being able to compete with some of the chads using the newest and most modded weapons.
Also I've personally shot a mosin carbine. The recoil isn't that bad on it... it's more of a push back then up actually. Like after putting about 80-90 rounds through one I had a sore shoulder but could still aim and do fast cycles just fine. The thing is this gun seems like it's built more for recoil management, then a mosin, so it actually seems fairly accurate... It was a good addition to the game and I hope it stays...
i have only seen one guy use it and i traded with him in dorms while using a stock mp5 so i never realized how dangerous it was in the hands of a skilled user.
One could say that a fully automatic Mosin is broken, then again you are limited to iron sights and small mags, so you need careful aim and high sense of map knowledge/awareness to not be at a disadvantage Tbf, even a guy with a fully kitted M4 will die if he's unaware of potential ambushes etc.
Was about to get into it then the cringejumps at every corners got me. Even in the aftermath of a Dorms fight, completely quiet surroundings... This looks chad but it is actually the final evolution of the rat. Sweating at every corners but found a solution aka spacebar. Not my kind of Tarkov. Other games do this better. Good aim though.

No, comrade. They infused the buttstock and bolt-stop of this gun with soft-leninum compounds. So full size rifle cartridge full auto can be fired with one hand comfortably.
The gun is a beast for sure but it requires an operator capable of aiming. Hip firing in Tarkov is absolutely just as broken as the Avt/Svt. Why ADS when hip fire can hold a line just as good? The entire concept of "high ready" for an entire raid is flawed. Thats just too much weight to hold for that long. If they introduce a stamina drain to high ready, and add in a low ready position, then you would have a more realistic variant to gun control. Similar to ADS with stamina drain, that should be happening constantly as you havent actually changed gun position, just your view down the gun.

All bosses are back on all spawns pretty much since the end of the halloween event. Maybe Killa still isnt on underground but I’ve heard he can spawn on OLI/IDEA/Goshan again.

scav reserve, get top tier 545 ammo and high end attachments, then pvp, take their sh1t, and scav again. then repeat.

I've always liked guns like the AVT and SVT being in the game. If people think this thing is broken, they will hate shotguns when the armor plate system comes out. Also, here's the thing: the only way you can balance guns like this is to remove them from the game. Equalizers in Tarkov, like the Mosin, are by design, unbalanced.
They make it so that you're not always at the top of the food chain no matter what you do, and that's a good thing. If you put them on higher trader levels they become worthless because there are better alternatives with more options like many of the other guns in the game.
37:44: They fixed the "no sound" bug. You now make a noise if you go like this out of ADS.
6:50 CHEAP KIT BRO THE TROOPER IS WORTH 500-600K YOUR TRIPPING
You should use the heavy bleed bandages from Peacekeeper, they only have 1 second use time, and I think they are also cheaper than the rubber band, especially if you buy them from fence. Buy the SSD drives or SAS drives from the flea, they cost less in Roubles than the USD you get for selling them to Peacekeeper. Those 2 seconds will save ur life, and the bandages are cheaper so there is no downside.
One important thing to note: Shturman's guards CAN spawn with an M1A, I've seen them with a loud M1A with 10 round mags and the 1-8x tan scope.

The AVT kicks straight back into the shoulder in real life, very little vertical recoil.
However, it's service life was 200 rounds and full auto often destroyed the guns. The balance with this should be an absurdly high chance of a jam in full auto, and incredibly fast wear (1 or 2 raids max when used in full auto)

I've been calling the SVD, SVT,and AVT users; "Noob Cannons." They're affordable, easy to find (I can't count the amount of Scavs I've loaded in already equipped with one), and you can correct mistakes easily into a win with them since two shots and you're done

The Battle Rifle concept is something insanely hard to balance in video games. Look at the SCAR-H for the modern equivalent. How in holy hell are you meant to balance fully automatic marksman rifles without making them either completely useless or completely busted?
You could push it back to higher trader levels but then it pales in comparison to more expensive and more modular weapons. You could just make it more expensive but then the lack of accessibility just makes it more desirable anyway. If you up the recoil then it becomes useless compared to assault rifles. It's a conundrum but battle rifles are ALWAYS cool. Can't nerf that.

I own svt-40 irl and it's really hard to fire without malfunctions😂 too picky for the ammo and needs constant adjusting to shoot it reliably w/o issues.
Funny they made AVT-40 that darn good, cos irl in WW2 soviets told to AVT-40 users avoid using full auto, because it was too stressfull for the gun to handle😅 everyone who has handled one of these would understand it wouldnt last long with full auto.
Fun weapon in game, cant deny that after blasting couple raids with it😅
I hope this Gun stays the way it is, it's a good weapon for us players thst go up against absolute mad lads and give us a chance to maybe win the encounter 😂
It's hands down my favorite sniper. I just love the feeling of using a very old rifle but still being able to compete with some of the chads using the newest and most modded weapons.
fr. U dont even get sights or attachments on it. Any more recoil and itd just be unusable by anyone
Also I've personally shot a mosin carbine. The recoil isn't that bad on it... it's more of a push back then up actually. Like after putting about 80-90 rounds through one I had a sore shoulder but could still aim and do fast cycles just fine.
The thing is this gun seems like it's built more for recoil management, then a mosin, so it actually seems fairly accurate...
It was a good addition to the game and I hope it stays...
I think it maybe just needs a little more recoil, or they should buff the PKM/P to make it better

i have only seen one guy use it and i traded with him in dorms while using a stock mp5 so i never realized how dangerous it was in the hands of a skilled user.

One could say that a fully automatic Mosin is broken, then again you are limited to iron sights and small mags, so you need careful aim and high sense of map knowledge/awareness to not be at a disadvantage

Boss can actually be at dorms/stronghold/new gas again. It's fixed since the streamer tournament.

Was about to get into it then the cringejumps at every corners got me. Even in the aftermath of a Dorms fight, completely quiet surroundings... This looks chad but it is actually the final evolution of the rat. Sweating at every corners but found a solution aka spacebar.
Not my kind of Tarkov. Other games do this better. Good aim though.

No, comrade. They infused the buttstock and bolt-stop of this gun with soft-leninum compounds. So full size rifle cartridge full auto can be fired with one hand comfortably.

New meta: Acquire full auto mosin. Muzzle stuff enemy. Hold trigger for approximately one second. Run.
The gun is a beast for sure but it requires an operator capable of aiming. Hip firing in Tarkov is absolutely just as broken as the Avt/Svt. Why ADS when hip fire can hold a line just as good? The entire concept of "high ready" for an entire raid is flawed. Thats just too much weight to hold for that long. If they introduce a stamina drain to high ready, and add in a low ready position, then you would have a more realistic variant to gun control. Similar to ADS with stamina drain, that should be happening constantly as you havent actually changed gun position, just your view down the gun.

I saw Reshala and the boys at Fortress last week, so I don't think he only spawns at doorms. This was a night raid also.
Yeah just yesterday I saw him at new gas twice. Surprised the hell out of me. Haven't seen him there in a long time.
All bosses are back on all spawns pretty much since the end of the halloween event. Maybe Killa still isnt on underground but I’ve heard he can spawn on OLI/IDEA/Goshan again.
