- THE REDRUN - No traders, No flea market, No scav runs, No Barters, No crafting, No secure container, No Quests, and most importantly.. No starting items. This challenge is somewhere between Hardcore and Zero to Hero, everything I use has to be found in a raid.. I cant just buy a kit, I have to find everything.. My goal is to become totally sustainable off the land and see how far we can push the boundaries..

REDRUN RULES:

- no repairing guns/armour from traders
- no secure container, only keys and money for car extract
- no healing at therapist (i did this many times by mistake though)
This is very similar to hardcore but the main difference is its much harder, the focus is completely on finding and using everything within a raid, no trader access or quest rewards at all! Because this challenge is much harder than hardcore it doesn't make sense to be doing this for an entire wipe or long period of time, for example.. long term hardcore goals are usually max traders and max hideout.. but for REDRUN I think it makes sense that this acts as an alternative harder "start" to the game, so once you hit level 15 like I did you can return to regular gameplay. Once I hit level 10 I was pretty sustainable and I struggled to find things to do, so that's when I started questing, and by the time I was level 15 my stash was completely full of gear so I wanted/needed to buy some containers to make my life easier.

Rules:
- no starting items
- NO STARTING KNIFE OR SECURE CONTAINER
- no flea market
- buy/sell/barter with traders allowed under primary HELL conditions
- quests allowed under primary HELL conditions
- no scav runs
- crafting allowed under primary HELL conditions
- no insurance
- no repairing guns/armour
- no healing outside player-used items
Primary HELL conditions:
- NO USE OF THE STASH outside immediate buy/sell/barter/quest items
- must sell any items you will not be keeping on your person (in-raid)
- ONLY CASH can be kept in the stash (think of it as a bank account)
- MUST DISCARD ANY SECURE CONTAINER YOU ACQUIRE (including scav container)
Goal: get as close to Kappa as possible.
I would love to sit through the 2 hours but youtube buffering every 30 seconds pisses me off the whole of yesterday I tried to find a way for the video to buffer the whole way with no luck. Glad youtube takes my gig internet into account. From what I have been able to watch It has been a great video.

It’s actually crazy that a guy in his house can make a film the same length as a multi million dollar movie and it keeps me here the entire time unlike a movie

I discovered Tarkov by watching Pestily's "raid" series for 1 year before buying the game and I never missed a single episode of this series as well as the "Hardcore" series that came after. Tarkov is basically a much more difficult and stressful game than other current games. The adrenaline you can experience there is incredible and the fun and rage comes so quickly that this game is breathtaking. Over time the "classic" game runs out of steam and reviving these emotions which stabilize over time with zero to hero or hardcore is an incredible experience to live as well. This style of play is so inspiring and empowering. Small wins are multiplied by 10 and big wins by 100. You have taken another step and I salute it. Congratulations to you, personally your video gave me back an incredible desire to play and to experience this style of game. Sorry for my bad English and good continuation in your wipe. If you release other videos I will watch them with as much admiration ;)

Having the death compilation is refreshing, I'm personally not great at tarkov but still enjoy playing but most of the content around is the top 10% of players doing amazing and getting a bunch of loot, there's a disconnect but watching your videos teaches me a lot while also keeping it grounded in what most players go through, thank you for showing us the ups and downs.

I agree but for onw caveat... Lew obviously taps heads 100x better than me lol. I'd have lost many of the fights he won. Still quite enjoyable though.
@@2Lew The challenge was also harder because these were Woods where it's harder to kill someone with a random low tier gun with basic ammo, on Reserve for example you could blast someone's head from behind a wall with no problem with any full auto and propably on Streets etc.
I dont understand why you havent blown up as much as you deserve to. Literally best Tarkov edits out there and skill through the roof. Love your vids man!

On point editting, excellent use of audio and visual synchronisation, and very insightful commentary. I was shaking myself in anticipation to, during and after the dorm fight so god knows how intense it was for you emotionally. I appreciate you including the whole thing all the way to extract as well, as I could hear myself "What if he gets sniped?", "What if a random scav 2 taps head eyes him?", and I wasn't even the one playing.

Don't feel bad, console Tarkov is much worse because you're constantly being hunted by teams with infinite ping while you're trying to scavenge resources on much smaller maps. Kind of makes you wonder where all the banned players go
