My former employer's lactation program sent me this pump for free (pjs comfort) and literally no LC I've talked to has ever heard if it, you're the first!!! Mine is 5 years old, but I haven't used it in 4 years because I probably never learned to use it to its full potential. 2 babies later, I'd like to try it again - I'm sure I just need new tubing, but do you think I can pick it up again after 4 years of no use? And I might need you to teach me how to maximize it 😂
First time mom here I’m looking to exclusively pump. what baby bottles would fit with these to directly pump milk into the bottles?
I'm curious how you'd say this pump compares to other multiuser/dual motor pumps like the unimom opera, medela symphony, or even the spectra synergy gold? Would you say its as durable? Is the suction strength while double pumping as good? Do moms tend to respond as well and get as much milk? Sorry hope thats not too many questions. Great video.
The limerick pumps excel over those other pumps for most moms with improved milk output and comfort if the constant suction is a good fit and mom learns how to operate the pump effectively. It's got more of a learning curve but a higher potential for success in a lot of cases.
My milk donor had this and borrowed my Medela symphony I was borrowing from WIC to try and she hated the Medela style ! Just to give you an idea.
Can you hack this pump to use other flanges and bottles?
Is it beneficial for increasing supply?
Yes the cycle speeds and adjustability make it extremely effective for increasing supply and it’s comfortable enough to pump the frequency need for that goal!
Is this pump a good option if you have elastic nipples?
Typically yes as it doesn’t place the same stress on the tissue
@@genuinelactation what are your recommended settings when starting to use this pump? The default cycle speed of 30 seems super fast...
@@elizabethrodriguez9806 typically 20 for cycle speed and lowest suction working up as tolerated. 20 and 20 used to be a shared starting point
