What I find really remarkable about these performances is that despite the fact that they are almost note-perfect reproductions of the original songs, often down to small nuances of tone and phrasing. they nevertheless feel 100% original, fresh, and heartfelt. I think this is because they invest themselves so fully in the performance and in the emotions of the songs; their version becomes just as true as the original.

What I find remarkable about these performances is that lack of freaking out by the audience! How can you sit through that and then give a gulf clap at the end? If I was there to eat pizza and this dude showed up I would have lost my crap and thought Thom Yorke was sitting in front of me. seriously blown away.

I've just come in from doing a gig. I'm having a beer and thought I'd watch one or two music videos before turning in for the night. I've been watching your stuff for nearly an hour now - the band I'm in used to do this song when we were a covers outfit, but your version totally blew me away. I'd happily stay up and watch all your videos, you seem to have tapped into my favouites playlist, but it's 2am on thursday and i start work at 8! Really nice work, best wishes from the UK

Thomas Neumaier he’s really good at imitating voices in my opinion. Not necessarily bad.
@@transmorpher i actually dont think he is imitating much. He does have his own voice, he just chooses to do majority covers of artists who have a similar range. He sings alot less "airy" then most of the singers he covers. Operatic in a sense. However, he definitely did imitate David Bowie in his cover of space oddity in parts, like the begining. But i kinda liked that myself lol.

I love this cover because they understand the song. Something that make Radiohead songs amazing are their subtle use of unexpected chord changes. There are specific things that make this work these guys do justice to

It is pleasant enough, but I find it to be almost ambient. That may have been the point of the original song but I tend to not enjoy ambient stuff all that much.

I consider Tori, outside of Pink Floyd, to be the "deepest" and most incredible writer of lyrics that move me emotionally, period... with exception of this song by Radiohead. These lines never fail to smack me right in the feelings when I hear them (and now you) play it:

Covering this song that well is impossible. I've never heard anyone come close to not only hitting the notes, but infusing them with the emotions that Thom Yorke manages to... you, sir, are a miracle worker.

Last night, my husband and I had a friend do a really great, loving photo shoot of us. This morning when I woke up, my husband told me he viewed to photos while listening to this, and was overcome with emotion it was so beautiful. So I did the same, and cried like a baby as well. What warmth and clean clear vocals. This is why shows like American Idol kill me. How can they have such mediocre talent when guys like this are playing a pizza joint in Utah. Well done, guys.
