Back in 1.6, I was pretty decent at surf. I could do the ski2 map backwards, sideways, and all kind of crap. But I am afraid that I would suck in CSGO, I have no idea what surfing is like here.
You should give it a try! ski2 is not really that different in CSGO. I'm sure you could learn. If you want to play with me, you can check out my friends servers @ karma-gaming.net

Nice, I used to be one of the best at "combat surf" back in 2005-2008. Best one and a pioneer was "At min lazer" or also named "Lazerkatten". Nice that people still play this mode. Oldeback, tOni and cr4sh were all good surfers back then. Surf Legends, anyone remembers that clan? :p

Ye, back then we figured it out ourselves, tOnis triple wrap was the biggest thing ever, it´s on youtube. I remember that some surfers became better than me surfing backwards and sideways using "s" and "w" key... I regret to this day I didn´t record a video because it would totally blow up, haha but u back then u could get like max 2000 views on youtube but still that was the whole community. ..I play only once a year but I´ll add u when I do.

If anyone wants to go crazy and get angry about his shot at 2:25 it was a very good shot and if you watch at 0.25 speed you can see that he legged the guy and that means that the person had already taken damage. Nice shot.
