Purchased my X-9000 V2, Warp9 wheel set with Battlecross X30, ECD wraps, and more from CCW, for my new 80v 29kW frame-up build that's similar to Nate's bike. You guys are great to work with, and the leader in performance mods for these bikes.
@chargedcycleworks I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your information. I've purchased from Charged Cycle Works before. You guys are great! I am going to be contacting you regarding your recommendations for Ultra Bee. I am an older guy who loves to ride mostly wet, single track north-eastern Pennsylvania woods --- rutty, old wet leaves and wet roots. I think I want to maintain the nimbleness (not 21" front) of the Ultra Bee, but want a tire and/or rear-wheel combo that clears mud like crazy and gets best traction possible on the roots. Call you soon!
you must make a reviee of short motocross boots available on the market - like oneal rider shorty or thor shorty etc. I currently use Icon and it is good as compromise between regular or "moto" sneakers and motoboots - and I do happy with it. also as a piece of advice from thr guy who have some experience - if I wear "motosneakers" - I use also bicycle style ancle support for additional fix and defence. so anyway I think this case is interesting as we know our bikes are not as heavy as regular motorcycles and using such boots can be normal.
We definitely need to do this review! Our athlete Brett has been running the Alpinestars Belize boot, which has been amazing on these bikes. But trying multiple and reviewing them is a great idea!
Will a 3.0 19 shinko 244 fit on the rear of the sting r? Also will the 3.0 17 244 fit in the rear of the xxx? I know the 241 17 3.0 fits on the xxx rear
With the new Altis Sigma coming out capable of highway speeds I have been looking for a dual sport rear (capable of highway speeds) and then going to do a 19' front off road tire and then buy a 16 or 17" front tire that us SuperMoto. Any suggestions for Dual sport and the 16 or 17" front tire?
I change my tire set this season to CST 80/100 and it made me happy. the most lightweight (5.9lbs) and wider - the most important. front is stock from Talaria, rear is front from Ultra. I really do not know anything about compare with others in traction but it kills others with weight wide and look. I use my surron X 50/50 on mountain forests and motocross tracks. both improved with theese tires much. ps. the industry needs 90/90-18 rims and tyres to be installed on rear wheel as stock or atleast aftermarket. the most important to understand is that we do not need more than 70/100 as front but if we install anything wider on rear - we have to increase front as well. it is sad. pps 16 rear is not suitable for present frame construction. and it is too much heavy.
@ChargedCycleWorks What are you recommendations on tire size for the ERide Pro SS 2.0 with the Front 70/100 19" and Rear 80/100 19" for the Shinko 241? A 2.75 19" in the front and a 3.0 19" in the back?
Anybody ran the Wig Racing E bike series tires? They have 70 and 80 series. Serious rear tire pattern, but heavy to go the 80 series. 3.6" wide which is what I am after, except the weight, 8.4lbs for the bigger rear tire.
Im still confused. What are best tires for mountain terrain on a 2024 Surron Light Bee X? Note: San Gabriel Mountains part of Angeles Forest (rock, pebbles, mud, uphill/downhill, vegetation, etc.)
What offroad tyre would you say performs best on road? I'm mostly on road but when I go off road I want grip, I don't think shinkos will cut it, looking at the k760, thoughts on road?
You’ll want a hard terrain tire, we’ve upgraded to 16/19’s and found the Bridgestone x30 has done good for both on and off road being a full knob pattern. The shinkos are definitely the best bet for durability overtime but they do compromise some off road traction. The new groundwire is at a good price so if you plan on wearing through tires like crazy replacing those would be a nice cheap way to do it
Is this best 19” tire or best selling? If so, which is the best performing 19” tire for mountain terrain (rocky, pebbles, vegetation, mud, hard dirt, etc.)? You mentioned the new tusk…how do they perform with the #1 tire on the list?
Tusk Ground wire tire review video coming soon, so far we are extremely impressed and think that tire is the best bang for your buck as well as performance for the 19" off-road tires.
We recommend only running it in the rear. It’s scoop pattern works well for power to the ground traction but to maneuver the bike doesn’t do as well as a purpose made front tire would
Hey I have a talaria I’m currently running a front tire in the rear (Shinko 520) I was wondering if I should put my kenda washougal in the rear and my shinko 520 on the front tire ?
Would love to hear your opinions on 18" rear, and potentially 21/18 and 19/18 combos.
I already purchased two sets of MX33 tires, both front and rear, and I couldn't be happier with their performance. Highly recommend!
Did they fit and all with stock forks
And is it the same tire twice or mx 33 front and mx33 rear as its diffrent
@@justin-fs2br Front and rear "MX33 front tire" fits perfectly on the stock Surron

Great info as always! You guys are awesome 🫡
Amazing video on tires, guys. We all needed this. Look forward to supporting yall in the future! Great speaker too!
A good idea for an episode. I've already used your tire table several times. Regards and looking forward to more.

Ran a mx14 on my talaria. Took some dishing but no cutting. Was a good tire. Currently trying out the mx34 rear.
I’m definitely going to try me some ground wires
What you did at 43 seconds for the mantis 😂😂😂

Can I run stock talaria up front and a Midas Terra force in the back?
Top video 👍 Do the stock tubes fit to the Shinko´s? Thx
19" 2.75 tubes can be found on our website. The stock should fit, but stock tubes are rather thin.
@ChargedCycleWorks What are you recommendations on tire size for the ERide Pro SS 2.0 with the Front 70/100 19" and Rear 80/100 19" for the Shinko 241? A 2.75 19" in the front and a 3.0 19" in the back?
We would still recommend doing the shinko 241's front and rear in a 2.75

what size for kenda k760 on eride pro rear? or whats better for loose gravel/ all around offroad?
Nice bike bro salute 🫡

@@ChargedCycleWorks looking forward to the video. Can’t find this tire in my local cycle gear store
Would it be fine to run the Kenda K760 in the front? Or should I strictly keep it in the rear?
We recommend only running it in the rear. It’s scoop pattern works well for power to the ground traction but to maneuver the bike doesn’t do as well as a purpose made front tire would
@@ChargedCycleWorks Okay, thank you for the info!
Hello, Does the Shinko 241 3.50-19 fit an eride pro ss 2.0 in the rear or should I just run the 275-19 on both front and rear wheels? Thanks
Run the 2.75 front and rear. the 3.5 is too large
I don't see an option on Shinko's website for the 244s in a 80/100/19. Am I missing something?
Check out our website for the 244 at a 2.75 width

Both tires are 70/100-19
Why no one have every tried 300x16 rear tire? Is much much lighter than 90/100/16. For stock surron i think is extreme better choice.
