You can safe a lot of atmo by stepping through the airlock one door at a time. Step through the first red/white striped door, wait for it to close, then step through the second striped door.
I only recently saw this game when 0.14 released but cannot get enough of it. When I'm not able to play, I'm watching people like yourself play. Thanks!
On the right side of your nav console is a slider to adjust your throttle. Reduce it a bit to decrease shaking when using thrust. Also decreases need for over-correcting and G forces you're subjected to while thrusting.
It may be better, particularely in early game, to fly slower and activate Autotask with time acceleration until proximity alarm triggers. On Autotask, if no other tasks are lined up, it defaults to repairing/restoring anything damages or worn in the ship, prioritising floor and wall tiles.
The hip pocket is in your overals, not your pressure suit. You left vital stuff (the crowbar and PDA) behind. But you can keep your shoes in your hip pockets when you're not wearing the overals.
Keep an eye on the clock. The Shift indicator shows when the shifts end/start. At the start of any new shift, click on your money and pay your loan installment (if you have the money for it).
19:38 The slight pain you are experiencing is having two left shoes. There is a left and a right shoe and it matters which foot you put them on. I can tell because the left shoe of that kind has no red mark, and the right shoe has a red mark to indicate it is the right foot. The same is true with other types of shoe. The sleek black trainers have one side with a swoosh and the other is blank. Obviously because you are looking at them from the opposite angle the right shoe is on the left and the left shoe is on the right.
Be careful with creating your zones. If you have any tiles of a barter zone outside the ship, your shopping might end up outside the ship. It is better to create a patchwork of zones to only zone the space inside the ship.
I was just looking at this as im in the mood for a deep space sim where i cam haul some cargo. Is it similar to barotrauma at all as i enjoyed that game
On the note of space sim cargo hauling, I almost picked up that space trucker game. I only ever have Barotrauma on my wishlist and did not spend much time watching that one. It looks like more about doing more active repairs. This game from the little I have played is more about the salvage and dangers that come with that from, going broke, to pirates.
@@MontePlaysGames star trucker is not ready and the survival elements are so badly done. you really dodged a bullet on that one. barotrauma is more like SS13 with single player and coop options then it is like ostronaughts.
Sounds like the update is working great. oh my. I am sure this will ruin my run saying it but the cops have been quiet for the most part. The one I met gave me a mission that she wants a career change. lol. oh Mia
@@DocHogan Oh I see what it is now. The Sort Feature for some reason now is auto set to Date published. So even if I have it in order it will be different for the person viewing it. I see this getting put back after a day or two. WOW.

This one I wish it had a pop up before the end of each shift. So far, I have been on this but can easily see myself missing a payment.

I was in the dark on this one until recently. Just discovered it due to find NEO Scavenger. This space on really sparked my interest though.

Oh my goodness. This game would start me off with two left feet. Curious of impacts of no shoes until I get a new pair. Good catch.

Actually think the pain is from the burn the char got in the adveture
Or just wear the pressure suit/EVA suit all the time. Makes you slower and fatigue faster, but you have no problem with what shoe is which.

lol. Yes I will end up having a battery stuck outside following me around until I finally work on building. Lesson learned.

so i get back to OKLG from my first run and the cops rush me, beat the crap outta me, and its either jail or pay 15k in installments, REALLY?

It for sure can be. I end up not spending the time I should in character creation just because I want to get to some good stuff. :)

@@Sombre____ I think they will add more in the future as to what age will impact. Biggest issue is you would start without all the negative traits.
