at 26:03, hitting the 1/3 with our 4/4 would let the arcanist go off 4 times, so we can kill his 8/5 with our 5/1 tiger
Wouldn't the stoneborn's deathrattle come into effect after all the spammy pulses?
@@ViolentRetribution No, it does not work like that. All the other reborns and deathrattles get calculated inbetween all the spammy ticks.

The choice was to not play Spammy. Use 4/4 to break taunt, Rats hits Stoneborne to summon the 8/8, which you hit with Tiger then Aim Shot for 3 to finish the Graveborn.
You're left with a 4/3, and 5 rats vs his 3/2 divine shield and his 1/1 parana with Spammy on hand
I would like to suggest an alternative, wait until there is 3 seconds left in the turn and then panic and try to do everything at once.
This is really not that hard though. Compare to his previous gameplay, maybe trump just suddenly got blank in mind.

When I watched I couldn’t figure out what trump was spending all his time thinking about. Until I spotted the (almost) exact lethal line. If one less spider had summoned allowing spammy to be played it would have been lethal. The alternate line I saw was 4/4 into 1/3, spammy hits for 4, everything dies except stoneborn and tiger which can then trade. Hero power and then probably lose over a couple of turns.

I get that thinking it all through helps you to avoid this situation - but if it's going to go this way anyway because you take so long, then you might as well just save yourself the time and not think it out so much

I don’t play much hunter in HS. It always looks so scary to me. There were multiple times when I was sure it was over, but somehow, with the right combo of face and clearing, it works out. I just don’t know when it’s the right time to do either

trump ur deck was very heavy but rodent nest into rats which are super big often just ends games, as u get a hand full of 1 mana 5/5s. remember the caverns below? notsure if its right bc u still have to not die but with 2 rodent nests its quite insane.

one last comment im getting the feeling that standard arena is not best understood along the aggro/control dichotomy but rather ask “can i ever lose the board and if yes how am i getting it back? what are my swingturns?”. so in that sense most decks are both aggro and control and now consistent board control counts less than swing turns.

Why does Trump wait till the very, like VERY last minute to do actions sometimes? is it to stall the other player for a like fraction of a second from animations? Everytime he misses an action its like a piece of my soul and some swears leave my body.
I partially blame him engaging with chat distracting him? But it's also just sort of an ongoing bad habit of his. Like, on the one hand, it's a good thing to think through your plays, but he tends to just keep mulling them over until at least a third of the way through the rope if there's too much to consider.
