This season of arena loks like a ton of fun. Looks like you can play around with synergy a lot more instead of picking the highest stat value neutral minion
meanwhile, standard is nearly unplayable less than 3 days after the miniset dropped
im having alot of fun with this draft pool. varience is very high and mage is op but its alot funner to draft.

A Mech synergy draw, 3 Blasto Sharks, like 3 other mechs, an arcanologist that was able to draw a secret... and a pyroblast finisher (maybe a second one???). It's like they got to draft in reverse or something.
And that's not even mentioning the bold-faced bluffing they managed to do
i bet opponents didn’t know how much emotional damage he/she had done… but i would pass as well

I've been getting blown out by Shaman in arena for a few days now. Turns out board Evolves are good
Honorable kill is such a better mechanic than overkill. I don’t know if people remember but overkill was one of the first new keywords in HS and it landed with a dull thud. They literally never used it in another expansion.

i think the mistake in the third game was that used ur mana instead keeping matriarch as single thread. also possibly securing an earlier draw from frenzy guy.

That Druid deck was nasty
I just watched this now and realized that druid deck was mine. It was pretty gross, went 12-1. I'm cerebusx on twitch but I played that run off stream.

at 30:00 minutes, why did the necromancer give mage a corpse count? is that supposed to happen? i thought only death knights got corpses
He summoned a random minion which happened to be a death knight minion that depends on corpses. I guess the game is coded to always track your corpses in case of situations like this. As soon as the necromancer appeared the game added the corpse total bc it recognized the mage was using corpses now.
from what i remember, corpses should NEVER be "collected" for non-death knights. so even when the DK minion was summoned, it should not have consumed a corpse to summon the 1/3 taunt.

I literally get 4 mages out of 6 games and trump gets 1 out of 9. The streamer luck is unreal
This was at patch release meta/class winrate was still not known after changes but its all varience at the end of the day

The pwoer level on arena is absurd, love losing to randomly generated legendaries and spells
10:30 trump definitely missed lethal with overlord saurfang aoe plus berserker
I thought so too and I counted but nope, Saurfang doesn't damage himself so it's one off lethal.

The fact trump just instant picked the anchorman without even looking at the gangplank diver (which is the most broken card in arena right now and can just out right win games by itself) and then went on to get another 3 anchorman’s anyway is so funny. I thought he was good at drafting arenas until I watched this…
