I have a chronic condition that requires several surgeries and procedures and if I had her as my anesthesiologist I would be way more relaxed and not so nervous and overwhelmed. You state "facts" on someone you do NOT even know.
You want some "facts"? I'll give you some.
      FACT #1
I work for a prestigious University. I enroll RNs into BSN, MSN and DNP programs. We also carry other 'healthcare' programs.
      FACT #2
Some of the RN's I talk to are anesthesiologists. They make more than the FNP (family nurse practitioner) but they feel they need a "broader scope" of work, so they go for FNP, sometimes.
      FACT #3
And salary depends on several factors. On-call. Full-time. What State you are in, and WHERE you work. Just like any other occupation. You're nuts if you think someone with less than 2 years exp can argue the same salary as someone that's been in for over 10 years. Heck, even police in one State can make 10-20K less than police in the next State … all because the violence is higher (more of a threat to their lives).
I never said WHAT they were making. Some make 6 figures, but so what? Even RN's and RN's who are FNP can make over 90K as well. Other RNs can be closes to 60K. There are factors that determine salary.
      A nurse anesthetist can make between 70K - 170K.

I can see that still even people who over-stress racial equality still label themselves as different. Why do they paint this picture that they are unequal? They aren't... Like i watched this video and the whole fact that shes black didnt cross my mind because it doesn't matter. I'm just happy for what she does and who she is, happy that she's happy.. not because shes black and employed. You make it seem like black people struggle to get employed in the medical field. Even if all that was actually true (fool, I work with Military families and often times, the spouse is a NURSE ... so why would I disrespect the title of NURSES, fool? smh). You're a true idiot. I help nurses become Family Practitioners and Adult Gerons, you clown. And I've great relationships with each and everyone of them, and I appreciate all the hard work and long hours (in addition to supporting their Military Spouse) often while carrying for the home and family. I also understand and appreciate that it is the NURSE who builds rapport with the patients and often times, its the NURSE who saves the lives of patients by catching Doctor errors. It is also the NURSE who doesn't like to see patients evicted from hospitals because of health care complications - they just want the person to get better, probably more than the Doctors do.
But along comes you, and your folly. smh
Since you are too stupid to figure it out and judge matters correctly, I will school you further in your idiotic comment (what? You thought I would bend like a blade of grass in the wind and apologize?? LOL @ you!)
      FACT #1
Only a very stupid person would see something that they consider "contentious" and then be stupid enough to try to get its attention. That proves that the only real contentious person in here, is YOU! Normal people see another that they consider "contentious" and they would NOT try to get that persons attention. Dummy. I guess if you see some crazy person shooting up a mall, you're going to shout out to them to "stop killing everyone you monster!" huh? Dummy. Learn a common life lesson and stop being so stupid!
      FACT #2
Since I'm on the topic of "stupid" ... I HATE STUPIDITY! I can handle ignorance. I can even handle immaturity to a point. But STUPIDITY, I despise, perhaps as much as I disdain hypocrisy.
What I aggressively spoke against was STUPID comments, not "Nurses" ... silly. You clearly can't judge matters rightly.
      FACT #3
At no point was a racist. LOL @ you! Why do dumb people keep babbling off stupid things? You silly Westerners are so frail. You think that just because you accuse someone of something that they will crumble and fold? You're crazy. That might work in YOUR culture, but this world is a heck of a lot bigger than falling America.
      FACT #4
And if you don't know that profanity is PROFANE (where the heck do you think the word comes from, you uneducated heifer!?), then why do you clowns say, "dont cuss around children"? If it were not PROFANE, then why say that, you unthoughtful imbecile? Exactly. Condemned by your own stupidity.
And a nurse should not be PROFANE! Not someone that is in service to people! Profanity is evidence of bad couth, and a lack of self-control, and a very limited vocabulary.
And you're beyond stupid if you don't see a problem with that in CERTAIN OCCUPATIONS ... such as Pastors, or Priests, or Missionaries, or Judges, or Presidents (well, apparently not YOUR President! lol) / Prime Ministers / Premiers, or high school staff ... or Nurses! That is why I typed what I type.
Go back to StupidVille. This video and post is long over and dead to me. Don't go around poking bears on social media. You'll only get mauled ... as you REAP what you have SOWN!

@@katherine6227 … wisdom truly is too high for foolish people. The POINT is, "stop making excuses". It's childish, old, and the tool of the incompetent.
Don't worry about me. I'm fine.
I was an aspirant for a Doctorate in 2002. But I was told by teachers that I'd never even finish highschool (and to the credit of truth, they were *almost* right)
I live on a golf course, not an inner city (which you might call "ghetto") because I made it a point to not raise my son, or expose my wife, to such a life.
I own my house in ATL, which I purchased in cash, brand new, in 2002. Title and Deed has been in my name since the beginning.
I own my BMW X5, which I also built and purchased in cash, because I worked hard to save up for it.
Married for 12 years. Wife says I have more than a whole ton of our friends. I don't really notice. Too muc
I'm British. And frankly, the British education system is light years ahead of the American school system. So CULTURALLY speaking, I'm well-traveled and diverse with a wide range of friends and interests … unlike most who are born with my skin hue in this country (only know what goes on in their ghetto, or the NBA, or the NFL, or what is on BET tonight … so sad).
I have a grammy in 1993, and a #1 music video of 1991. A lifetime ago. A man my son knows very little about. it all means nothing to me.
I'll inherit a home worth 700K … but I'd much rather have my parents. Home ownership is a LOT of trouble and upkeep. Parents are priceless.
      blah, blah, blah.
But how is any of this any of YOUR concern? See, that's exactly what I'm talking about. A person who makes excuses AND who also worries about what someone can "be someone" … is pathetic!
A man to me, who has little, but keeps his nose clean, stays faithful to his wife, does not abandon his children, and who fears God, is more of a "someone" than ANY fool of a celebrity or highly educated person. THAT is the sort of man I respect. People who are so superficial and VAIN … have never understood what the MEANING of life is, OR how to truly LIVE it. Facts.
My point to you was to STOP HANDICAPPING YOURSELF WITH EXCUSES! But what did you do? The wisdom clearly went over your head and you focused on ME. That's what a very "small minded person" does.
Me? I take wisdom and truth from WHEREVER I can get it! If the words are sound, I simply accept it. I dont bypass and focus on something else while missing the point by miles!
And FYI, I own a $8K couch … but I rarely sit on it. And even if I did, I've already achieved much.
      Anyway …
Skin color being an "obstacle" is a DEFEATED mindset. I'm not naive. I know racism exist on ALL sides and in ALL cultures, but its a defeated attitude to hide under a blanket just because. Those of us who PUSH past, are the successful ones. Facts. I was trying to encourage you OUT of it and RESHAPE your mind/thoughts … but, you seem to like where you are at. Dr. I enjoyed hearing about your day and you seem like the kind of Dr. I would want. Doctors who take the time and actually listen to and care about the patient are beautiful people. My daughter is an RN and I tell her, your patients want you to be caring and kind at their most vulnerable times in life and that's what will make you the best at your job.

So glad the Davinci was updated. Memorizing multiples steps to turn it on some years back was time crazy consuming. But when you have a doctor saying" Im going to tell you one time how to turn it on and you need to remember what Im telling you because Im not going to tell you again" is enough motivation to learn it! Glad about the updates- on the equipment for hospital staff to utilize for training.
