- Mango Park Police Sergeant Mike Green is patrolling the neighborhood looking for a robbery suspect when he spots a vehicle that matches the description of the getaway car. Sgt. Green pulls the motorist over and immediately assumes this is the man who committed the crime. Despite his claims of being innocent, he is taken into custody by Sgt. Green. Unfortunately for Sgt. Green, the man he arrested, not only is innocent, but he's also the son of Sheriff Dale Johnston.

Sheriff Johnston knew the truth from the beginning- his stepson, Raymond borrowed his mother's car, because his car was in the shop for repairs, running routine errands. Sgt. Green wrongfully detained and profiled him- that wasn't going to work with the Sheriff and it wouldn't work with Capt. Porter, either!!!

He could have waited 10 minutes before arresting the suspect. Or at least spent the time searching the vehicle looking for weapons and the stolen goods. Since driver and car matched the description, Mike Green had a probable cause. The only thing making him the bad Mike Green I haven't seen in a while is arresting the suspect without waiting for a confirmation of vehicle ownership.
I will add to my previous comment, the guy playing Sgt. Mike Green is a good actor. He plays that role well

It's a violation of our constitutional right to be able to move freely without being harrassed or interrogated. It's the opposite of Freedom, so good thing the sheriff didn't let it slide, while many may say it wasn't a big deal, the kid wasn't hurt, on the contrary everytime this shit happens our Country is hurt. This is the first- nonetheless, I can see Sheriff Johnston's stepson and Capt. Porter's niece, hanging out with their friends at a local park, playing pick-up hoops with their friends, then suddenly, pause to break out a car window to rescue 2 defenseless puppies. Sheriff Johnston and Capt. Porter commend the young adults for rescuing the dogs. Finally, the battleax that locked up the dogs in her hot car, angry over her windows getting busted out. Sheriff Johnston tells the battleax she's not getting the dogs back- Capt. Porter arrests the lady for 2 counts of felony animal cruelty. How's that idea for a future Soul Snack episode!!!

I think the reason that Mike Green hasn’t been fired it’s probably because he has done something really good to keep his job so even if he screws up he has the other things that are good things on his record or he just the better cop on the force compared to everyone else
