- Mango Park Police Officer Chambers pulls over a motorist for swerving in between lanes. When he approaches the driver, the officer suspects that he has been drinking. The driver denies the accusation and consents to taking a field sobriety test. The driver passes both the field and breathalyzer tests, but that doesn't stop Officer Chambers from arresting him anyway. Unfortunately, for Officer Chambers when backups arrives, Captain James Porter righteously lets the innocent man free.

Speaking of my post, I should added the amount of time between being picked up and transport, the Detective has to Advice suspect of right with in 48 hour window or the suspect is free to leave even if evidences is secured.

Some people cannot handle being in a position of power. It goes to their head. Instead of doing what is right according to the situations all they think about is using their position of power. In which as this video shows just to find out that they don't have the power that they thought they had. Power in the wrong hands is very dangerous. As fellow officer If breathalyzer reads zero they are clearly not intoxicated
They could be high or on drugs, which still counts as DUI (at least in my state). Where the driver messed up was taking the field sobriety test. It is optional in all 50 states and is completely subjective and up to the officer's discretion. You can't refuse the breath test/blood test, but you can always refuse the field sobriety. I don't know why people do them willingly

I hate to burst your bubble but have you seen this video of brutal arrest of the elderly woman with dementia? Loveland police brutally arrest the 73-year-old elderly woman with dementia and broke her shoulder over $14 “stolen” items and they laughed about it in the jail building in 2020.

Great video I know the real story this is based on a college aged boy passed a breathalyzer test all zeros but he arrested them anyway even though he never drank in his life and ironically that boy was white he was so sure he was on something other than alcohol so that cop was just super incompetent

Cops that give false information on sobriety tests should be banned from the police force for life. Being a police officer and wearing a badge doesn’t give you the right to bully, intimidate, or harass. Captain Porter is to be an example for all police officers and we need more cops like him.

So sorry that happened. Since moving into my self determination apartment, I've embraced black culture a little bit. I've also learned a lot of the staff that works with me have suffered lots of terrible profiling, even one of my staff started working with me after racial profiling from working at my local grocery store. I may never know what black people go through but the profiling needs to stop. We may have different skin colors but we all bleed red
This is the best video I've seen. I like the fact that they said color instead of Black people because Black people are not only targeted for racism. Asian, Mexican, and other people with dark skin are also targets of racism. I also like the quote. However, I don't understand what dreadlocks has to do with anything.

Depending Cities and how their Police Department Operates, the officer or Detective must advise the suspect of his or her Meranda Rights. The City of Philadelphia leaves that to the Detectives, which causes confusion for some. Anyway, that Officer was really paying attention to scene, maybe he's the one who should be cited for DUI and working while drossy. No one should be subject to behavior from Police Officer.

NEVER do field sobriety (Usa) only the breathalyzer/blood draw test. In all 50 states, field sobriety is optional, and it's subjective. You could as much as trip over your own shoelace and that's enough grounds for them to arrest you, even if you blow a 0 on the breathalyzer
