Police Detain Lady For Feeding The Homeless. Then This Happens

- Good Samaritan Meredith Mooney is outside of the Mango Park mall feeding the homeless when she is confronted by a policeman. Officer Kyle Jacobs warns her that she is breaking the law and writes her a ticket. Mrs. Mooney is adamant that she is not trespassing and well within her rights since she is on public property. Nevertheless, Officer Jacobs threatens to take her down to the station and calls for backup. Then as Meredith and a kind homeless man plead her case, Mango Park Police Captain James Porter arrives on the scene and quickly realizes that his officer is the one who is wrong.

This really happened in my hometown, except the police fined this woman for feeding the homeless veterans in our local park. She kept on doing it despite being constantly fined. She wasn’t doing anything wrong. She was feeding homeless vets, which is a good thing.

We human beings are supposed to look out for the less fortune people. That cold hateful cop needs to be on the receiving end of the stick. Nobody doesn't know when they might need help. In this world, things happen,no job is safe. Nobody health is safe. Accidents happen, people can lose it all. Its a damn shame when FEEDING THE POOR OR MISFORTUNE PEOPLE IS A CRIME. Unfortunately, most of those would have been quit because of media convincing them that they were wrong to be cops in the first place and quit out of guilt, even though they weren't the guilty ones and were actually like the captain.

This story really touched my heart ❤. This lady showed that she cares about people. This is the way I feel. One day I was in Palo Alto and I stopped to have lunch at Taco Bell. I ordered three Tacos and only ate two. A lady asked me if I was going to eat the last one. I said no I was going to take it home. She asked if she could have it. So I gave it to her. Then I took her to the counter and bought her lunch and a large soda 🥤she thanked me. I told her that I am more than happy 😊 to help the homeless. When ever I see someone who has a sign that says (Please Help). I always give them some money. That is the only thing to do.

It was only one taco. Besides the woman looked like she was homeless. People who don't care don't have a heart. God made everyone to care for one another. I bought her lunch because I wanted to help her. I don't care what anyone else thinks. I feel I did the right thing.

In my country, homeless people are promptly reported to the police. Vagrancy is not a crime, but a concern.

Officer Jacobs was suspended for a whole month without pay, and Meredith also filed for a restraining order against him. Once Officer Jacobs’ suspension expired, he was forced to repeat all of his field training personally by Captain Porter, who also kept a strict eye on him.
Officer Jacobs gets fired and blacklisted from the world of law enforcement for life in mine.
Or a better story, due to his “punishment” he has to turn up to help her on his Sundays off, and little by little they fall in love❤
Like the add on but Jacobs should’ve been suspended without pay for at least 2 months and forced to work with Meredith for at least 6 months with half of his salary going to Meredith’s shelter

They are not all drunks and drug addictive.
They are families that lost everything because of parents losing there jobs, income and the places they live.
They ever live in their cars as long as they can. I say that because over time there is no more money for gas.
When you are homeless living in your car you have to keep moving to different places because the police will keep telling to move..

This happened in Texas outside a public library, they figured out when it was closed and just started feeding the homeless after hours.
That lady is doing a good deed for the community by feeding the homeless. There's no crime on giving back to the community. A good deed, such as feeding the homeless, cannot go unrewarded.
There are programs to help the homeless but,people don't seem to recognize that.

What's happening in this world these days is that there are people who think they are above the law and when there are homeless people are on the street and only people who are trying to provide free food to the homeless people and the police doesnt have the rights to tell this person that she doesnt have the rights to give out free food!!!! I can see Daryl Meyer as the assistant to the Mango Park Public Schools superintendent with Verne Alexandre as the school superintendent, in a future Soul Snack episode where Sheriff Johnston and 2 of his deputies usher junior high school students back into the school cafeteria from being outside, during a dangerous smog alert from wildfires burning in the Everglades. One kid suffers an asthma attack from inhaling smog particles and has to go to the nurse's office, accompanied by one deputy, while another arrests the principal for mass child endangerment for making the students stay outside, during the lunch hour in the smog. The superintendent's assistant becomes acting principal and takes the first official action by allowing the student that suffered the asthma attack to go home and rest, but is also advised to visit the doctor also gets his school work for his 2 remaining classes, since he has study hall in 7th period. As for the principal that was arrested, she's hauled off to jail and the superintendent schedules an emergency school board meeting to decide her future with the Mango Park Public School District. I can definitely see Bob Sharkey back as Sheriff Johnston with Terrell Mitchell and Emilie Smith as the deputies with Tracey Eman as the principal that gets arrested. Working title would be "Principal Karen endangers class"!!!

It was nice to finally see this lady being able to be portrayed as a caring person instead of her usual self. To be honest, I was going to go for the laugh & say Karen, but decided to instead take a stand against the whole "Karen" trend. Every Karen that I've ever met has been a kind, loving & wonderful person. I don't know or care how this trend started,but it needs to end.
