It’s misfortune that one of the top five Westerns of the modern era was released at the height of the pandemic when theaters were closed. Tim Blake Nelson was masterful in the title role.
why dont they play it in cinema again and show it on bigscreen rather than crap movies lately
I'm glad they did not get a Liam Neeson, or Sam Elliott, or Kevin Costner type of actor to play the leading role. This guy is perfect casting.
I agree. No other actor could have pulled off a middle aged Billy the Kid. It's an instant classic and the best Western in years.

Billy the Kid knew exactly what a life of being violent when you're angry, ESPECIALLY to your own flesh and blood, brought about. It's why he ran and hid. He wanted his son to learn that not being violent is the good and correct life.
