- Sailing through the doldrums on our 37ft sailing yacht Florence is the first stage in our 3000 mile offshore passage across the Indian Ocean. The euphoria of setting off on our greatest challenge yet is tempered by the unpredictable ocean weather conditions we face. This will be the 3rd ocean we have crossed in our circumnavigation of the world, and it is proving to be the toughest so far as we have already been turned back once. Sailing offshore 24 hours per day, part of our non-stop voyage from Indonesia to Seychelles.
We have been sailing around the world for over 5 years after setting off from England in 2016 on board our 37ft sail boat Florence. Join us as we share the highs and lows of travelling around the world by boat, Sailing offshore across the Oceans and exploring remote locations with our own little tiny house. Boat life out at sea on the ocean and off the grid.

I know you must have reached the Seychelles OK or you wouldn't have been able to upload this video. You make your adventure so much more enjoyable for us by the manner in which you tell your story! We thank you for that! What a delightful couple of wayward voyagers! Not everything goes your way, but you handle all the adversities so well. The east coast of Africa is more unsafe than most so I'm sure you will take all that into account in your further routing.

I have to say this is one of the best sailing video I have seen, very well done. I passed the Indian Ocean many times on a cargo ship I still remember the Thunderstorms there Which I really always Enjoyed even being in a Hurricanes was my most Top Times. Wow. New watcher and subscribed. I love seeing people challenge what others see as being out of our comfort zone. I wouldn't even dream to do that. Sure I could learn the skills but still no. Out in the middle of Australia sure, it's pretty hard to sink there but still faces many challenges that need to be overcome. I'll have to dig back and start at your beginning.

I have to admit I love thunderstorms in the tropics. The power & energy of the beasts are awe inspiring. I’ve actually been struck quite a few times albeit in a fully bonded aircraft, but you always flash to the screens to see if they’re still working. Similarly, back at sea level, I think we’ve recently lost our wind instruments due to a nearby strike. $$$🥲

I got burned out on sailing channels a year ago but started watching some of your videos lately. I think the thing that made your channel interesting is that you seem like such a nice couple.
