- Well, haven't done one of these in a while.
After a 4 year hiatus, welcome back to Rejected Sins, a compilation of all sins that I thought were good, but didn't make it into the original video due to either of the following reasons:
- Missed context
- They're explained in detail later on in the game
- They're a joke that I didn't feel was funny enough
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you wish to support Jaki Rose and download the end credit 'Video Game Song'

And of course, don't forget to check out The Originals, CinemaSins.

Baldur thought Kratos was a Jotunn. He didn't know that Kratos was Greek. Baldur was tracking the last Jotnar in midgard and thought it was Kratos because he was carrying Faye's ashes, which is what baldur was tracking. its a story of mistaken identity. When baldur said he thought Kratos' kind were so much more enlightened and better than the Aesir, he was speaking of the jotnar and their ability of prophecy as well as being more advanced in terms of craftsmanship and similar areas.
We sure that's true? I assumed it was a comment on Greece being the cradle of civilization and him not understanding the difference between Sparta and Athens as city-states.
LupineShadowOmega well Cory Barlog has said in interviews that it’s a case of mistaken identity and Kratos assuming that Baldur is attacking them because of him being a god, while Baldur was actually tracking Faye’s ashes. Since Kratos was carrying her ashes, he thought Kratos was the Jotnar he was tracking.
But you'd think a god who knows what the Jotnar are would tell Kratos is NOT a Jotunn. Ashes or otherwise
I think we can be damn sure. Baldur even comments that he thought Kratos would be bigger BECAUSE he was expecting a Jotunn and not a big beefcake
Ummm well we are "chiping the FUCK out of the games" sooooo..... yeah that means all of us who like the game can go fuck ourself and thats it.
Some of these I found kind of legit. Like the one where Aterus doesn't throw his knife and bow into the water, and it still works.
VengefulJustice the only reason I think it worked is because the serpent knew who atreus was
Maybe because the bow and the knife were made for hunting but the leviathan axe was made so you can defend yourself against monsters
@@localtrickster4516 they're still weapons so they should count
Baldur thinks he (as well as his wife, *who he's really there for* ) is a *Giant* from *Jotunheim* , thats why he says "I know *who* you are... i know *what* you are", and rambles on about their enlightenment.
*AND BEFORE SOMONE TRIES TO TELL ME HE KNEW HE WAS A GOD*
The only 2 people who outright said they knew were *Mimir* "Smartest man alive" and *Freya* someone completely in tune with nature.
Then there is the reaction of Magni and Modi. they obviously had no idea that he was a God because of Modi's reaction to Kratos killing his brother.
4:10 Faye is a giant so she is enlightened, so she knew Mimir would be on that mountain. That sin is not a good enough point.
FrozenFox Games well,it IS rejected
He's not a semi god anymore for he killed Ares and Athena made him a full god to take his place, the wrong part is when he says he was born a god, he was born a semi god and later became one
Durgaz Demigod*
Shocking how a lot of people never mention that
Wasn't he stripped of his Godly power ? Zeus & the Blade of Olympus drained him of pretty much all of it and the power he recovered was mostly from Titans and brutally murdered Gods
Bizz Where does it say that the Blade of Olympus robs your Godhood? That makes no sense.
Daniel Antony he had to input all of his godly power into the blade of Olympus it kill the colossus of rhodes. This made him mortal again and therefore not a god.
Cory Barlog said in an interview that Musphelheim was going to be much bigger with more exploration. The Musphelheim you see in the final game is the end result of time constraints. Just adding that incase you were curious.
They'll probably come up with some reason for Kratos and Atreus to go back there in the sequel.
Can the next game to be sinned Detroit become human? Please?
we wouldn't see him for months on end, since he likes to play through all the endings in telltale games, i'd imagine he'd do the same for Detroit.
Dustin Loftus he's doing E3 next
I want E3 sin's first.
Detroit Become Human has waaaaaaay too many possibilities and endings. That video wont be happening for a good long time
I would like that but I want to see him sin e3 2018 first
The sin at 1:48 Baldur was talking about Faye not Kratos
Ye
Finally, the og intro
You know its a real treat when gcn uploads :p
The last one about about the Giants being dead got me laughing pretty hard.
There’s no visible captions from the annoncer?🤔🙁
No sin counter nor timer. :/
Under Grounder yeah you’re right 😞
I mean....it seemed obvious the captions would be last,I for one like the rawer footage
Slinging INK lol!!😂 bravo!! Touché!!
That was good!!
Its cuz these the the sins that weren't in the actual sin vid
You forgot that Mimir has no lungs but still somehow used that giant horn to call the world serpent
Love your videos just subscribed keep up the good work
Been a while since we've had a rejected sins video.
Nice video GCN, but I have to say.... I've missed this intro music so much! 😁It's so nice to hear it again. ^^
Thank goodness for this blessing
I really love you channel
2:41
Freya: I know you're a god
GCN: Ehm ehm Demi-God
Truth: he was born a demi god, became a god after he killed Ares, Returned mortal when Zeus killed him and took the blade of olympus which absorbed all of his godly powers, RETURNED a god when he reclaimed the blade of olympus that holding his godly powers from the underworld. Stabing himself with the blade of olympus and SURVIVES which mortals and demi gods cannot. And still having "wolvarien" healing factor as Baldur does thats a good proof that he still a god
Alot of these sins were really good and should have stayed
I actually enjoyed this
It's been an honour
I can see why they were rejected. Fun video though.
Hyped about the E3 episode :))
how could you sin the great "father and son share a drink" moment?
It's a rejected sin for a reason
Can't wait for your E3 video.
Theres other gaming sins channels but i only like yours buut i kinda wish uploaded as often as the others. I i get games take longer than movies but i Still yearn for weekly uploads by you haha
@5:00, I don’t think anyone thought Atreus was helping Kratos push that hammer.
I did and why would it be impossible that a literal son of a god would be able to lift heavy objects
@@carsonkolarik8946 cuz he could barely hold the axe when given to him
E3 2018 BABY!
You know it was a good game when then is rejected sins
Always a fan of hearing the "Rejected Sins"! Keep up the good work, GCN Guy!
Been a while since last rejected sins episode
Hey man, trying to contact you with a question, what would be the best way to do that?
I feel like rejected sins could have been used as a blooper reel for GCN.
Oh!
I actually read the title now; REJECTED sins.
I feel a bit stupid.
I thought E3 was next up...
The boar is hildisvani the last of his kind he can transform into anything after freya heals him and you go in to the cave go back immediatly and then she tells you his identity (sorry for bad Englisch)
They did not count the scene when Atreus called Jormungandr at the final fight. He could not possibly do that since the snake was said to speaking a dead tongue. And Mimir the only one that can speak such language.
Plus, despite his gift with languages, Atreus still required language cyphers to make him learn the ones he's unfamiliar. It could be one way he'll be able to speak to his offspring to be.
Hey GCN can you make everything wrong with dmc4?
Eryx Eryx they already did. Has over a million sins
No that was DmC Devil may cry
Levi Van Dyne I want to see him making with dmc 4
Eryx Eryx oh that's right
Eryx Eryx dmc 4 is the perfect hack and slay and therefore Has no sins!
But tbh i would love to See gaming sins About dmc4
Would love to see Detroit after E3 sins video =)
Can not wait for e3 2019
If anyone is wondering, this is a video that has sins that he didn't put in the actual vid
LOL " Kinda looks like the Mortal Kombat Dragon" which it does.
Alone you dont have an idea...
Baldur thought he was a giant...
If your part Demigod,
Would you still be called a Demigod or a Quasi God?
some of those sins were actually legit
When's the E3 vid?
You haven't done these in a while. Last one I remember was the one you did with No Bullshit.
Not surprised these were rejected. Some of them were kinda incorrect if you remember stuff from the stories heard.
Am I the only one who notices that the boat animation when he paddles to left or right are wrong and sbouybe inverted?
Odin can't get to joteinheim because there is no crystal in the teleportation room to reflect the light and the only way kratos a'd Atreus were able to do it is by using Mimir's eyes, so he needs Mimir for that
Not just that. He doesn't know the travel rune, and Thor can't go in even if he knew it, since Freya cursed him never to return to Jotunheim
5:38 the ahh is actually when we in Greece drink something good and feel refreshed so it's a good detail if you consider kratos is Greek
5:03 - You know what you Did!
The only legit Sin i can accept is why the fuck would Odin go to Joutenheim if all the giants died.
No one has been to the realm of giants for a long time.
Nobody knew the giants went extinct
8:47
The family that he """"ACCEDINTALLY"""" killed
7:50 well didnt u see atreus in helheim when he saw that vision of killing modi he said: thats not me, I wouldn't do this.
He was not in his conscious when he killed modi. HE DID NOT REMEMBER THAT IN HEL.
what is the name of the outro song????
Here As Soon I Saw In Notifications😄
Can you do Everything wrong with A Way Out
You should do a game sin for kingdom hearts.
Can someone explain how Kratos went from Greek to Norse mythology? Is he still on the same Earth?
Did he just move to a different place where the Norse gods reside? And he didn't know they were there?
Do one for prototype 1 and 2
The reason he calls him enlightened and knows who he is doesnt mean he knows he's kratos he thinks he's a giant who can see the future. I dont see how every gaming sins channel miss this
Didn't Fae know Mimir was on the mountain?
Can you make game sins SMT nocturne
where’s the Wolf Among Us episodes ? they still need to be finish sinning !
All Excellent Questions And I Wanna Know The Answer To Them All ! ! !
baldur thought kratos was a giant as stated at the end. he was looking for his wife but she was dead so he mistaken kratos for it. pretty sure freya and mimir were the only ones to know about the greek god status.
I personally think faye did not tell kratos jotenheim is the highest peak because she wanted them to save mimir. Remember it was all pre destined
I'm glad those were rejected. Imagine amount of comments that'd tell you why they didn't fit?
Really wanted Kratos to tell Baldur “racist scum sucker I reigned supreme”
he isnt a demi god he became a full god after the gods made him the new god of war
2:44 Krato is the God of War
so can you remove a sin?
After the E3 SIN video do Batman Arkham Knight sin video
Aside from "Literal Stairway to Heaven", why are these sins rejected?
Make more videos for more games like god hand & god of war 3 and 2 & bat man arkham night
6:24 did you even play the game-
Make episode about DMC4 or Witcher 3
Hi I'm here
Saints row 1 next plz
this Kratos is Grog from Critical Roll
Lol keep it up
2:26 I miss ‘99
I have a question: Why does a Spartan Demigod who killed the entire Greek pantheon minus Aphrodite for obvious reasons have a son who turns out to be related to Norse mythology?! Greek-Roman Mythology isn't remotely related to Norse mythology... also, I swear I heard the Irish guy's voice elsewhere... something about being the last one leaving a room alive or not being supposed to leave a room alive? I can't remember where, though... I'd appreciate the help.
Edit: never mind, it's Skyrim. The chief of the guard in Solestheim.
He had powers stripped, but does Kratos still count as god? He was promoted end of first game & he did kill a load of gods.
Regained his godhood
No Balder thought Kratos was Giant
SIN DETROIT BECOME HUMAN.
These video sounds more like a complete troll if anything x.x
Wheres the content GCN
GCN I love you but this year I have seen many sins that were completely wrong or misidentified, Atreus when he is sick doesn’t have his quiver on that why there is no mistletoe, or Baldur didn’t realise Kratos was a god he thought he was a giant or Odin doesn’t know the giants are dead, Atreus, Kratos and Mimir didn’t even know as well
Kratos is a full god because he abosrb hades soul. So he regain his gold status, but his genetic is read as a demi-god.
Hey! A bunch of these sins are exactly the same as dartigan's!
Do Everything Wrong with *shadow of the tomb raider* please!
E3 ?
Part 4 wtf
0:22 - Kid Atari says this...
*despite having played Arkham Asylum,*
*Mass Effect 3,*
*Tomb Raider,*
*Rise of the Tomb Raider,*
*Arkham City,*
*Uncharted 2: Among Thieves,* *Mirror's Edge: Catalyst,*
*Until Dawn,*
*Halo 2: Anniversary,*
*Watch Dogs,*
*Uncharted 4: A Thief's End,*
*and Watch Dogs 2...most of which have reasonably cinematic graphics...Most of them!* DING.
3:09, 3:38, 3:47 - Holy shit, is that Christopher Judge?
the old start og ending
It is going to take a long while for this channel to get back in to that quick video upload.
Balder thinks Kratos is a giant
