The tank is beautiful. A suggestion, reduction the water flow, bettas don’t like fast moving water, because he’s got long fins he will struggle to swim and get tired quickly. This will cause him a lot of stress. The tank is not cycled so more water changes will need to be done to keep him healthy. Great upgrade for him.
Sounds about right. When I had one of my bettas in a smaller tank (2.5 gallons), I had to turn the flow off completely and reduce the bubbles coming from the aerator otherwise he struggled to swim. Now he's in a 10 gallon, but I'm still cautious with them!
Bit of advice, reduce the flow and, if you didn't already, add a heater. Glad that you are finally listening to some of our advice :) Your betta will love his new tank.
My guppie had a orange little ball on his left fin and couldnt swim we took em out and i removed the dot lightly and now he started moving any idea on what it couldve been?
You know he's a good kid. He and his friend could be causing problems but instead what is he doing creating habitats for betta fish even has a pond. Cut the guy some slack he's trying and it's not like he's not properly caring for his fish he's doing the best he knows how. He obviously loves his fish he spent $127
Jeron Playz They’re not hating dumb fuck. They’re criticizing and telling the truth. Oh, and by the way, since you’re calling them “haters” I could imagine you would not know what “criticize” means.
Most of the people arent trying to be mean, they're tryna give criticism. Which is good, it will help him improve, and if hes willing to improve then hes taking care of his fish correctly
Paul, first I appreciate what you do, especially with the ponds. Once I buy a place with a decent sized back yard, I'll be doing one. Second, (and others may have already pointed this out) the good bacteria is actually in the filter media of the first tank. Yes, there is some in the water, but the majority of it is in the media. Take the media from the first tank and put it in the second. That is what keeps you from needing to cycle from scratch. Keep doing what you're doing man.
Chris, this is probably the reason why a lot of mollies died in the big tank. People pointed it out then too and Paul answered with the same reaction you got.. However, maybe some other (new) fish keepers will read your comment and learn :)
As a fish keeper, I’m so proud that this guy has upgraded his fish to so much better setups! I remember seeing the other videos were he put bettas in not even a gallon tank! Now he has live plants in a 5 gallon!! I’m so happy to see this improvement. Definitely a like from me!!!
Hi, I just stumbled onto your channel because I have bettas myself. I've seen some of your other videos and the comments about tank size. I'm so happy to see this one and that you've learned. We have all made newbie mistakes. My first betta was in a bowl with no heater or filter. I had him for two years. I had no clue they needed a regulated temp, a filter and at least 2.5 gallons. Now I'm wiser and the boys (4) I have now are much happier with me being a more responsible pet keeper.
Betta fish don't like a lot of movement in their tank and they aren't strong swimmers. I don't think an air stone will be good for it. Plus please get a heater. Betta are tropical fish they usually act lethargic in cold waters. Bettas are actually really active.
Potato Chip I've had betta fish live a good 3 to 4 years without an air stone. And I've owned many after that. Their longevity is not based on an air stone. Its based on water quailty, diet, and genetics.
Potato Chip no, betta's will live for as long as it will (if you take proper care of them) without an air pump! Betta's dont need air pump. Stop spreading false rumors.
HI Paul, I'm Zack. I have loved your videos ever since I started watching you. You turn my bad day into an AMAZING day. I can't explain the feelings I get while watching your videos. Watching you has made my life so different (in a good way). I love your videos. THANK YOU #CUFFAROFORLIFE
Whats going on Paul, Its Wayne from Wayne's Fish World, I love your channel, bud, you remind me of myself and every other older fish keeper haha, you got HOOKED, and now you got the terminal illness of fish keeping haha. But no seriously, its good to see a younger generation like you take on this hobby / fish keeping, and you are exploding with growth. You are a really good inspiration for your community, and THAT, will make others want to experience fish keeping, and make the community grow even more !! PEACE !!
I found your channel today and just love your videos. They don’t drag on and on and gave me inspiration to get myself back into the hobby. My daughter remembers having fish when she was younger. Now as an adult she she has her own 20 gallon tank. I know she will love your channel as well.
Hi I’m a recent viewer but I can honestly say that since I’ve started watching I have become so much more interested in fish keeping and I’m about to expand my small collection that I already have thanks for the tips and ticks can’t wait for the next video 👍👍
Please look into more than a single source for tips and such, while Paul is spreading inspiration, he also spreads misinformation as well. There are a handful of reputable UA-camrs for fishkeeping, my favourites being King of DIY, Solid Gold Aquatics and Lifewithpets (there's also Rachel O'Leary and many others)
Paul you have got me attached to fish way more than I was I own 2 betas now because of you I own a platinum beta and a blue and dark red beta. You have inspired me to keep fish and your vids teach me how to take care of them. THANKS FOR CHEERIMG ME UP EVERY TIME I WATCH YOU VIDS.
Bom Bom Just so you know bettas need a 2.5 gallon tank each with a filter and a heater. And you have to do weekly water changes with a filter. If you don’t have a filter you should be doing daily water changes. Fish are not easy to take care of and if you don’t do water changes they start burning in their own ammonia.
The good bacteria isnt actually present in the water colum 99% of the good bacteria is in the filter media. The rest is in the substrate and on decorations.
Hi Paul!!😁😁😁 my father is going to U.S. and after several years me and my siblings will come too. So you have inspired me to build a pond and also try uploading vids to yt when we go to U.S., hopefully, I would be like you. Keep up the good work broo👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼😁😁😁
*every day I used to go into depression because of the release of school results, then I saw your videos then my mind will be refreshed and filled with inspiration 😊😊. love from INDIA*
Dheeraj Kandoor you do realise that depression is not something you go into it’s something that a lot of people go through and trust me it’s not something to joke upon! Please get your facts right!
Your betta is staying on the bottom because the flow is to strong same thing happened to me fluval sales a prefilter sponge for $3 it will slow that flow GREAT JOB✌️
Greg, if you would ever be so kind as to build me a pond like Paul's - because i too want to live the Aquascape Lifestyle - not only would my koi be eating Aquascape fish food pellets, but i personally would eat an entire bag of Aquascape fish food pellets myself!
It’s looking great! My only suggestion is to maybe put a sponge over the filter spray. This will reduce the water flow so you betta will be able to swim better. Also, the pump for the filter should have an adjustment knob, I would recommend turning it to the lowest setting.
CaoAquatics Yeah, half of the water is cycled but the over half isn’t. The filter also doesn’t have any beneficial bacteria yet. I’m sure the The fish will be fine because Bettas are naturally from a lot worse conditions.
OMG you spent 90$ on a 5 gallon? That’s way over priced! I got my Betta a 10 gallon that came with a filter, water conditioner, and lid with led lights for only 20$
animal lover I get mine from Gumtree, make sure you wash it appropriately and it's all good, there was a 125 Liter going for £37 only! Got my 30L for £15
Definitely agree with others with the importance of reducing the flow. And please, add a temperature strip and/or a heater. Bettas like it between 80-82 degrees inside their tank. I'm not sure where you live but I'm sure theres at least some point in the year it's cold, and if the AC is on for you, plus all of the moving water, Thomas is likely to get very cold and it's more likely for him to get sick between the cold and stress
Still no heater? Even if your house is warm, I doubt you keep it at 80+ degrees. You need a thermometer and a heater.. I would add a gang valve to be able to control the air pump flow. It needs to be slowed down a bit. Also, tank water doesn’t contain your cycle. The rocks had some bacteria, but it would have been better if you would have transferred your media and gravel. That tank isn’t cycled the way you did it. All you did was move dirty water around.
Shally Shallow Bettas splendens need to be kept at temps of 78-80. Without an in tank heater, you would need the room to be 85 degrees or higher, to keep the tank at the proper temp. This isn’t debated, it is common knowledge. Google will even tell you the right temp bettas should be kept at.
Connor Turton if a betta tank needs to be kept at 80 degrees, a 75 degree room will not keep the tank water at 80 degrees. That is common sense. Water doesn’t magically increase in temperature all on its own. It requires a heat source. Google will tell you that bettas should have water temps of 78-80 degrees. So will every single site you look at when looking for how to care for a betta. Or you could just pick and choose whatever googled fact you want, and make it fit to how you are keeping your fish. Just to make yourself look right. That’s a possibility too.
Dude your tank looks so nice and clean. I currently have a 2.2 gallon tank and I'm planning on upgrading to a 5 gallon or bigger. I recommend getting a water heater for your tank if you don't have one already. Betta's are tropical fish and like warm temperatures. Getting a heater will not only make your water more fitted for your beta's needs, but you better fish will also become a lot more active and its colors will be more vibrant resulting from the comfortable water. I also recommend putting in a decorative structure that provides a shady spot for your fish to rest in. I have a Krusty Krab plastic decorative thing that my betta swims into all the time when its too bright or he just wants to chill. Love the videos man keep it up!!
Love your channel. I've been working on the layout for my yard(s) and I was only going to put in a little Fountain originally but you have inspired me to add my own little Koi pond to my side yard sitting area. You're so full of good energy, keep it up. Thanks for making vids.
Beautiful Paul I love it 😍 I appreciate the work you put into the videos you make you really inspired me I even have my own pond now (I love it 😍) so thanks again for making my day brighter keep up the good work!!!
YOU BOUGHT IT! right when u said “like this vid and I will buy the tank” I liked it in .1 sec. Paul you’re awesome!! Is this the thing you bought in your Instagram story?
Frazer Smith not solely. They breathe primarily through their gills. They are able to use their gas bladders as an air source when they don't have much oxygen left in the water, which is a survival mechanism for dry periods with low water and crowded spaces. Their gas bladders are primarily for buoyancy, not respiration.
Frazer Smith yeah your right my betta fish is in a plastic jar but I will transfer it to the glass jar. They dont need oxygen and filters but if you like your betta happy you can add some pebbles, plants, oxygens and filter to look very nice and your will live much happy
I have this tank for my betta as well. I recommend turning the flow down because bettas aren't great swimmers. To slow the flow, I put a sponge over the filter output. The airline isn't really necessary for bettas either because they have a labyrinth and can come to the surface to breathe. The airline just creates more of a current for the betta to fight. Too much of a current can cause the betta to be tossed about the tank and can result in torn fins.
Paul you are the best youtuber in the world you made me take care of my fish and my 2.5 gallon aquarium you are really the best fish keeper in the fish keeping industry
Paul ur the man! I've been watching ur channel grow.. l have been here since ur first pond videos... keep up the amazing work man💙 .. PEEAACCE✌👊 Proud Cuffaro,
This is much better than all of your other Betta videos though the only thing I will say is get rid of that air pump. The water flow is to much for the Betta and he won’t be able to swim properly and will struggle
Just a little tip: if you put the old water of a tank in a new tank does not mean the tank is cycled. You should put the old filter media into the new tank. Love the vids! Keep them up!
I had to use my normal fish net as a make shift nursery for my 3 baby Molly's soon I'll get a true one it was random I bought a Molly and it was already pregnant so I had to improvise
Go to Twitter karen, he’s actually trying to give his fish live plants and is trying to care for them and not put them in little 1 gallon tanks, the tanks were honestly really good, had all the necessary things, you just trying to hate cause you ain’t him
my goldfish just died from Swim bladder disease :( if you goldfish has swim bladder disease dont feed him for three days. so his organs can deflate so they wont have as much air in them!
Beautiful betta tank Paul.. Would look even better if you follow your theme by giving thomas's tank a black background. Love the vid.. Keep up the good work 👌
Hi! Im one of the cuffaros from Indonesia. I absolutely love your videos and you inspire all of us (cuffaros). Now i have three fish tank and one pool or pond for my brazilian turtle
Hey Paul I’m a new subscriber and I’m glad I subscribed you really inspired me to get a pond and we are working on it and I feel in love with the koi fish, keep up the good work 👏🏼
Hey Paul thanks for the amazing content. This video inspired me to get a mini tank in my room. My mom got it for my birthday and I now have a hillstream loach and a few more awesome fish in my room. I used to have trouble getting to sleep and now I relax eveynight before bed by watching my fish. I have now got shrimps with eggs and am really greatful for your work. Thanks 🐠
Love the vid Paul! It’s weird how expensive tanks are where you are from, I got a 5 gallon tank for £20 at my local pet shop! Anyway love seeing he flower horn. Can’t wait till I get mine next week!!!
Matt Hax don’t worry I’ve been keeping pets of all shapes and sizes for years, I make sure to do plenty research and always go a bit over when it comes to cage/tank size. And I think that Paul is an amazing an the tank his flower horn is in is fine, yes I agree maybe it shouldn’t be a permanent tank but for now and the size it’s fine as flowerhorns actually feel safer in smaller tanks. And Ik that dosent mean cram one into a 10 gallon but it means you can be a bit more stingy with the size as long as it’s still reasonable haha
Harry Capon at the min he’s in a 50g as he’s only really small but when he gets bigger I have a 160 waiting for him, currently occupied by a Bala shark and two big Plecos
Commander AMG make sure he has atleast a 2.5 gallon tank with a filter and a heater set to 76 - 80 degrees. Anyway I hope he is doing well but please if you haven’t already get those items so he can thrive.
Really love the tank! I can tell you are trying to do what’s best for your fish! A little tip, bettas are easily stressed by heavy water flow so your fish might appreciate the air stone a little slower, google has a lot of info on how to slow the flow! Keep up the awesome work 🙌✨
Waiting your video everyday is no time to waste everyday.. you inspired me to have a pet fish and you make every video positive.. keep up the good work Paul
So I appreciate that you have this hobyy but I see your new Betta tank and all I think is boy this poor fishy. Seems like you don't know a lot about how a Betta tank should be like.
lol, I know I’m late and he’s way more informed now(by listening to comments and NOT pet stores), not completely informed and still makes noticeable mistakes, but better than nothing. Anyways, ummm there’s no heater and even though outside the temp may be hotter in Florida, the house may have fluctuating temp due to the time of day and the AC, so better and recommended and almost mandatory to have a heater. No cycling of the tank and pretty sure he still doesn’t cycle(water holds no beneficial bacteria). Rhizome buried which makes the Anubias plant die. Doesn’t properly wash gravel outside of bag thoroughly to make sure all dirt and dust is washed off and doesn’t remain in bag. Doesn’t wash anything in the filter to clean it(you don’t have to but u should). Ye, that’s what’s wrong with it, also, he should probs provide a variety of food for the beta fish. Maybe bloodworms and soaking the pellet would be good so Thomas doesn’t get swimbladder problems.
Betta fish breathe primarily through their gills, but they have evolved an adaptation to use their gas bladder as a fake lung when there is a low oxygen level in the water. The gas bladder is primarily for buoyancy, not respiration. You need adequately oxygenated water or you will stress the fish out more. Oxygen in the water will simply diffuse out to the atmosphere, same with carbon dioxide and other gases along with from the atmosphere into the water, but it's not enough to provide adequate concentration levels.
TIP- when doing water changes pour water into the far back left section to prevent the gravel from moving and to stir up the water that may have been still for a long time.
I remember i got pretty upset when i watched some of the videos you made earlier because you kept on makeing very similar mistakes over and over again, im sure other people could agree. I feel like you might be learning more about fish keeping though. I hope that you take advice from peole in the coments section, and improve you fish tanks and how you care for your fish. You do seem to be trying though. Lol it really isn't my buisness anways but yeah.
Paul, I know you were trying to reduce the time it takes to cycle a tank by using the water and rocks from your old tank, and that is helpful, but even more helpful than that would be to use the gravel and the filter media from the old tank. The beneficial bacteria that helps deal with fish waste lives everywhere in a tank, but the highest concentration of that bacteria is on the filter media and on the substrate. Just for future reference. You've come a long way since the Betta Falls video. Keep improving and learning!
Tina Marie Farmer So now stating obvious facts is being a jerk. Let me guess, you’re 5 and you have no clue about anything. Well guess what Paul is just doing it for money, that’s why there are 4 adds in a ten minute video. He’s killed multiple fish before and never listens, and you need to be old enough to see this before you go around saying how he is such a good person. And yes, I did just say that and I am proud.
No one gonna talk about how that that’s not how cycling works? No? Well I really hope the fish turned out ok. Please do more research about the science and habitats about what your doing, these are still living creatures and it’s easy to get hung ho about the hobby but take the time to do it right.
Putting established tank water in a new tank does help cycling though. I’ve been doing fish in cycles (not a full load of course) since I’ve had fish. They’re faster and I rarely lose fish.
Lifewithpets I love your vids and it's awesome to see you commenting on other youtubers I watch

My betta having a egg
IqbalPlayz 10 it’s not, that’s called an egg spot
Lifewithpets good point, That’s a pretty strong flow for such a small tank. Thomas won’t be happy 😢
4:40 do they not have shoes in Florida
LOL
Squawk 7700 I live in Florida be quite u live in Idaho were u eat potato’s every day
I live in florida and can confirm we do not have shoes.
Yeah from Florida here, not sure what these “shoes” your referring to are
logan diggs woah ok not true they eat potatoes every other day
Bit of advice, reduce the flow and, if you didn't already, add a heater. Glad that you are finally listening to some of our advice :) Your betta will love his new tank.
FlipFlop FishFlake fluval spec has room for heater in filter compartment

meg grotte Facts 💯
If he cared he’d take the advice given and actually do research on his pets. He’d know Berta fish don’t like fast moving water it stresses them out.
Wow my first time knowing the camera man is actually a camera kid that’s cool! Good for him!
Yousef Elrefae it’s his little brother

Paul I think the air stone looks awesome but I think u should take it out bc there is a lot of flow in the tank which Bettas don’t like.

Paul Cuffaro great video I love the tank and Thomas looks SO happy!
Chris, this is probably the reason why a lot of mollies died in the big tank.
People pointed it out then too and Paul answered with the same reaction you got..
However, maybe some other (new) fish keepers will read your comment and learn :)
I just learned that today XD, you can instant cycle by taking filter media and putting it in the new tank to get the cycle going.

I'm not sure where you live but I'm sure theres at least some point in the year it's cold, and if the AC is on for you, plus all of the moving water, Thomas is likely to get very cold and it's more likely for him to get sick between the cold and stress
You are such an inspiration to me and you are the reason why I keep going
Still no heater? Even if your house is warm, I doubt you keep it at 80+ degrees. You need a thermometer and a heater..
I would add a gang valve to be able to control the air pump flow. It needs to be slowed down a bit.
Also, tank water doesn’t contain your cycle. The rocks had some bacteria, but it would have been better if you would have transferred your media and gravel. That tank isn’t cycled the way you did it. All you did was move dirty water around.
What ? No you don’t need to keep your house at 80 degrees
You don’t need a heater and ya you don’t know anything about bettas
Shally Shallow Bettas splendens need to be kept at temps of 78-80. Without an in tank heater, you would need the room to be 85 degrees or higher, to keep the tank at the proper temp. This isn’t debated, it is common knowledge. Google will even tell you the right temp bettas should be kept at.
Alli Sten google actually says you don't require a heater if your house is normally in the mid 70's. Well done you played yourself
Connor Turton your exactly right
Connor Turton if a betta tank needs to be kept at 80 degrees, a 75 degree room will not keep the tank water at 80 degrees.
Wait... At 4:42... Why ain't he wearing any shoes?
Rudra Karpe
I believe because he doesn’t want to...
Although i am unsure...

Who cares
ARNE DRAWS who doesn’t?
If you give me the answer i can do math and answer ur question...

Rudra Karpe was just about to comment that lol 😂
Hi Paul the more ponds/Aquariums I build the more I’m ADDICTED to your channel
Good Job
YOU BOUGHT IT! right when u said “like this vid and I will buy the tank” I liked it in .1 sec. Paul you’re awesome!! Is this the thing you bought in your Instagram story?
Paul,
You are living the life. It brings me joy getting to watch your channel. I too have fish now all because of you! Thanks for all you have done.
I am glad he actually learnt from his mistakes and started taking care of his fish.
Yo man dont need a air pump for a betta they breath atmospheric air
Frazer Smith not solely. They breathe primarily through their gills. They are able to use their gas bladders as an air source when they don't have much oxygen left in the water, which is a survival mechanism for dry periods with low water and crowded spaces. Their gas bladders are primarily for buoyancy, not respiration.
That can be used, but they still should have air pumps, so much better for them to have a pump running
Frazer Smith yeah your right my betta fish is in a plastic jar but I will transfer it to the glass jar. They dont need oxygen and filters but if you like your betta happy you can add some pebbles, plants, oxygens and filter to look very nice and your will live much happy
You don't need one, but I find my bettas appear to be doing better with aerators, and sometimes treat the bubbles as playthings (they're super cute)
Marth Arce I really hope you were joking to prove a point
Paul you should give Luna a bigger tank too.
our pet shops never look this good. And barely have any fish
PEEAACCE✌👊
Proud Cuffaro,
I really love the tank I love watching your videos and when you talk I just learn so many things😆 keep up the good work 😛
4:11 I like how he's like, "Uh... okay?"
i think you should put a background on the tank!! even just taping black paper to the back would add a lot. i think it’d make luna pop even more 🌞
This is much better than all of your other Betta videos though the only thing I will say is get rid of that air pump. The water flow is to much for the Betta and he won’t be able to swim properly and will struggle
Man you make my Day every day
Iove you from Kuwait 🇰🇼
riveting stuff
Just a little tip: if you put the old water of a tank in a new tank does not mean the tank is cycled. You should put the old filter media into the new tank. Love the vids! Keep them up!
Thank you for a thorough explanation on how to setup a tank, some of us are new to the fish community. Great job.
I had to use my normal fish net as a make shift nursery for my 3 baby Molly's soon I'll get a true one it was random I bought a Molly and it was already pregnant so I had to improvise
Just saying but u did this video on my bday so yh
I know, im pretty random but i just wanted to mention
Happy birthday
Love how he acts like he knows what he’s talking about!
Almost three years later and I’m sure you still believe that urself.
Go to Twitter karen, he’s actually trying to give his fish live plants and is trying to care for them and not put them in little 1 gallon tanks, the tanks were honestly really good, had all the necessary things, you just trying to hate cause you ain’t him
you have inspired me because at first I have small Betta fish tank but now I have four big tanks..... you're super energetic...love your videos...
This channel is by far the best thanks to catchem all for showing us your channel
Great video💯 but don't feed your goldfish flakes because they are gonna get swim bleader desease
my goldfish just died from Swim bladder disease :( if you goldfish has swim bladder disease dont feed him for three days. so his organs can deflate so they wont have as much air in them!
Colby Cobia better to just feed them food that doesn't float to prevent it
i think that the water flow is too fast
the betta will be exhausted
Beautiful betta tank Paul.. Would look even better if you follow your theme by giving thomas's tank a black background. Love the vid.. Keep up the good work 👌
Hi! Im one of the cuffaros from Indonesia. I absolutely love your videos and you inspire all of us (cuffaros). Now i have three fish tank and one pool or pond for my brazilian turtle
your fish tank is very cool and your fishes and thankyou for making this vidio please make more vidios
Hey Paul I’m a new subscriber and I’m glad I subscribed you really inspired me to get a pond and we are working on it and I feel in love with the koi fish, keep up the good work 👏🏼
You should put the platinum betta fish in Thomas’s old tank
Jordan Z, they have the same size tank
I just don’t like how the plants in lunas tank are in the pots still
Im pretty sure the platinum is as big as Thomas, soooooo.. it wouldn’t work out.
Germany ...
... is here!!!🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪
Insect Freak sweden is here 🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪
Hey Paul thanks for the amazing content. Thanks 🐠
You've inspired me to do my own Pond, what a great young man you are, all the best for the future!
Love the vid Paul! It’s weird how expensive tanks are where you are from, I got a 5 gallon tank for £20 at my local pet shop! Anyway love seeing he flower horn. Can’t wait till I get mine next week!!!
I assume you have at least a 60 gallon aquarium for that flowerhorn. Paul is a very bad role model. Please do your research before you buy pets.
No you can get a regular ten gallon for $14 here in America he just for some reason decided to get an expensive five gal fluval instead
Harry Capon at the min he’s in a 50g as he’s only really small but when he gets bigger I have a 160 waiting for him, currently occupied by a Bala shark and two big Plecos
That's why I don't go to local pet stores. And go out of my way to smaller animal businesses, for cheaper and good quality products.
Would someone explain how to make a not so strong filter?
You can use HoB filter
put pre filter sponge infront of it, water won’t be pushed through so strongly, or you can use sponge filters if you have a betta fish
In Paul’s video “the smallest fish I’ve ever bought” it seems the 25 gallon is smaller than this 5 gallon. Just me?
No....ok :(
Love to see you excited about your hobby. We're going to get a fish tank for my daughter's 5th birthday. You helped us decide what kind to get.
I love the betta fish so much, i'm happy he has a bigger tank. I hoop you get the betta fish you want❤
Good fish food! Use it at my house also.
Hi, I'm Brazilian, my name is Karine.
... could you put subtitles in Portuguese? ♥️♥️
Hey!!!! I have a male opal Betta!!
Woot!! Woot!!!
Commander AMG make sure he has atleast a 2.5 gallon tank with a filter and a heater set to 76 - 80 degrees. Anyway I hope he is doing well but please if you haven’t already get those items so he can thrive.
Me too I have mine in 5 gallon
What's wrong with it?
lol, I know I’m late and he’s way more informed now(by listening to comments and NOT pet stores), not completely informed and still makes noticeable mistakes, but better than nothing. Maybe bloodworms and soaking the pellet would be good so Thomas doesn’t get swimbladder problems.
bro. all that stuff is picky stuff. just say the man needs a heater and move on. this is why i hate this hobby. always a negative view.
Jude Lee what's cycling of the tank? Water holds no beneficial bacteria? Can you explain it to me? thanks.
Bettas breath air like we do, they don’t need air pump
Money Team BRO BETTA FISH BREATH WATTER NOT AIR, THEIR FISH.
Justine Gadd no you are wrong they are one of the only fish that can breathe air which is why they are so hardy
Justine Gadd before you speak known what you talking about 😂
Betta fish breathe primarily through their gills, but they have evolved an adaptation to use their gas bladder as a fake lung when there is a low oxygen level in the water.
Joshua McHarg they use their labyrinth organ to take oxygen from the air not the gas bladder
Nice fish tank but betta fish don't like a lot of movement
Hi Paul,I love your videos because u take so much effort just to show us,u take us on tours and everything ❤️
Wtf happened to the shrimps ??? Did I miss any vedio of taking the shrimps out ????
TENEX GAMING wondering the same
probably got eaten
One of two things 1. Died or 2. He moved them
Knowing this guy knows nothing they probably died
probably eaten by the betta. xD
What about your shrimp??????
In the Thomas tank???
DESI BHAI they probably got eaten again as depending on the Betta if they are very aggressive they will attack all tank mates
Evie Puv my bettas are aggressive to everything but my shrimp do not all Bettas gonna eat shrimp smh
Ella George I didn’t say all Bettas are going to eat shrimp smh 🙄
Evie Puv didn’t say you did
you have inspired me so much i'm already saving up for a fish!😅
Paul, I know you were trying to reduce the time it takes to cycle a tank by using the water and rocks from your old tank, and that is helpful, but even more helpful than that would be to use the gravel and the filter media from the old tank. The beneficial bacteria that helps deal with fish waste lives everywhere in a tank, but the highest concentration of that bacteria is on the filter media and on the substrate. Just for future reference. You've come a long way since the Betta Falls video. Keep improving and learning!
What happened to the shrimp?? :(
Kaitlyn Rodriguez probably got eaten
can i ask a personal question? did u graduate early? just curious
Tina Marie Farmer he’s home schooled so he only has 2 hours of school every day
hes intelligent well spoken, motivated. 17. not in school that id seen. my son graduated early. so i was curious
Tina Marie Farmer He isn’t that intelligent he mistreats the fish all the time and no matter how many people tell him to do research he never listens.
Beebo Did you really just say that? jerk.
I got a betta fish because of you! You should make a betta fish care video with hacks and stuff! You're awesome thankyou
Awesome vid! I love seeing someone as dedicated as me (or possibly more) in the hobby.
Sick
where did the ghost shrimp go?
Where are your shrimp
It's so satisfying to upgrade a betta....they deserve it!!
Your videos always make me want to design cool tanks like yours. Keep up the good work
