Don't feel weird, that's how everyone of us felt when we heard this band for the first time. It's not just you. It really is a feeling between "wow, this is awesome" and "what the fuck is this, and why do I love it that much." This band is something else and found their own style.
Listening to it with someone who gets into it as much as you do and is comfortable expressing it with you, that shit is next level.

Nothing will ever compare to the first time hearing “Toxicity”, especially if it’s the very first System song you ever hear. It’s something else. Truly is an eargasm. Such a beautiful and artistic piece.
Yeah! That was my first song by soad. It was 3am One summer and i opened youtube cause i couldnt sleep for some reason. I read the title and got curiosi, so i opened It.
And nothing, that night i couldnt sleep at all, i was all a shaking, so excited for some reason, that Song gave me a unique feeling. And now soad Is my favorite group ever

System has a very unique sound. They're one of my all time favorite bands. You should delve more into their discography. They were only around for a few years and only dropped a few albums, so it won't take you too long to listen to all of it.

SOAD is on that world stage shit I swear. This was literally my favorite band growing up. I’m glad to have discovered this band & it latch onto my soul at such a young age 13 and I’ve seen them about 6 times live. i’m in my 30’s now and this band forever changed the way I make music & I rap & produce beats but all the influence this band gave me as a singer, guitar player & drummer still shows.

As close to perfect as a song gets imo. I know Chop Suey is more popular and, trust, I love that song too, but Toxicity gets me every time. The lyrics, the vocals, the switch ups...brilliant. Each band member went in on this track. Thing of beauty.
