My grandma hazel, god bless her as she's passed away now, was exactly the same. My uncle is 6'7-8 (post surgery lost probably an inch) 360 used to be a bouncer and part time construction, and she could crush him into the dirt with the love and care she put into her cooking. Southern hospitality on her end.

@Anzu Wyliei sorry should have explained better lol. Some farms will allow you to purchase a cow, hog, bison, etc. and pay whatever they would have gotten at market value (almost always less than what you would buy it for pound for pound at the grocery). The farmer may arrange for the animal to be slaughtered or you may have to take it to a butcher yourself but you'll get all of the meat.

My dad and I used to watch Brian Shaw’s videos all the time. For anyone wondering he’s always in a really good mood and despite his size seems to be SUER kind, gentle, and down to earth. They kind of guy who you’d love to hang out with and who you’d trust with your secrets and emotions.

Tip number 1 on how to become the worlds strongest man: Get a high paying job for the food
In his case he lived with his parents and worked part time personal training until he won his first WSM title and prize money and sponsorships started paying enough to support him.
@Anzu Wyliei theres more budget friendly options than what he does now but yeah, it's a lot.
Don't go for premium stuff like bison, mainly. Bulk buy. Chicken tends to be a lot cheaper (and leaner, depends on whether you think that's a good thing or not) than red meat. Lots of calories can come from oats, rice, potatoes - all things that are cheap, especially when bought in bulk.
@Anzu Wyliei I'm not keen on farmed fish, there tends to be a lot of buildup of crap in them, and lots of antibiotics. But lots of people swear by it. Good source of lean protein if you're going for white fish, and it allows you to vary your proteins a bit which can help it not get boring.
Non-farmed fish is expensive, though...
@Anzu Wyliei If you watch some of Brian's old eating videos he used to eat Swai every day, one of the cheapest fish. I'd recommend it too.

Heh, indeed. I actually liked that part a lot. But what is he? (no offence to Brian in any way). He is the world's strongest man and a huge piece of muscle. He is humble, kind and genuine person. Is there a reason why he should bring the "strong man" thing up in every shop? :) I mean this the good way, don't get me wrong :) I have close friends who are also big guys, they are the most humble and gentleman persons ever. I guess that it somewhat sums to the saying "with great power comes great responsibility". They have nothing to prove to anyone, no reason to "show off" or take others down. They know 100% sure that they could do it, that's why they don't have to. Smaller guys who has bad self-esteem are the problem.
