      yeah, i prefer the small front, big rear look too. i dont like these new wheels at all, and the stress and leverage wheels that big put on all the suspension parts etc is enormous. and the engine just doesnt have the power or the gearing to properly spin them up etc. i think old wheels looked and performed better. cant blame them for trying though. those rims were pretty nice. sometimes it seems like a good idea in theory, not so much in practice.

    As usual top notch content from GHP. But I got to hand it to mr. Moto Mule. He is always helping other builders here on the tube. Which is awesome since he makes time while in the middle of whatever crazy project he's fabricating. And then there's the family too. And then when it comes to the builds themselves. I love that he always takes the extra time to Not be a Hack. Relax, I myself don't have the patience and excitement to go slow and quadruple check everything. Or overlook something. But the Mule won't send it out the garage until it's right. That's just a really good quality to have. Thanks All

    Just saying the atv tires looked really good also you should see if you can make to where its 4 wheel drive but you have it to where you can switch it back to rear wheel drive with a switch or something like that

    Idk, I kinda liked it on the little wheels it had on it. I loved how rowdy it was with the small wheels. It's probably gonna eat belt's with those big heavy wheels on it too. Should've maybe gone with side by side wheels and tires.

    You are going to want an aggressive tread style for the front!!! Those front tires will turn into slicks,fast and will wash out on deep turns,and not hold your line, I think !! But it looks so awesome, love the wheels

    This project is awesome but I have two simple suggestions. 1. take off those heavy way to big wheels and find a size in between the two. 2. You need to change the clutching on the primary and secondary clutches. Ask someone that mods sleds or races. Clutching is a dark art

      The WHEELS are fine, imo they look really good. The tires are just TOO TALL for the gearing and the powerband that the motor puts out....lotsa hp but not enough tq...if this was the jseries or K-series from the Honda oddessy minivan than they'd work now problem...which at first is what I thought they were using. When I heard it was from a snowmobile that explained a lot.

  • @ggthorne9008
    @ggthorne9008 5 років тому

    Just a couple observations from a Canadian snowmobiler. You need to build a cover for your clutch and drive belt, if you snap a belt without a cover you can get seriously injured. And the reason it fucked up is because the belt got wet with the mud, a splash of water can make a snowmobile sink while crossing water, im assuming thats what made it fail
