We finally found all of our Honda Odyssey’s problems. It had to have smaller wheels and tires and a better/bigger radiator. next stop for the engine swap/build series is paint. After that the Odyssey will be 100% ready to rip!

same stick to 10" or 12" with normal ATV tires... its not a car. bigger wheels is slower at low end and more top. smaller wheels are more fun
These backyard builds that you guys do are awesome. Better than all these crazy expensive builds with teams of people. Gives me the motivation to want to do everything myself even more! Keep them videos coming!

Missed the odyssey. I've been running a civic radiator/ fan on my sled seems to keep the temp down and the hoses fit on it good. I also swap the v.regulator for a electric start one (dc output) so the fan works off the mag at idle

Odyssey’s were one of the coolest things Honda ever sold. I started with a FL 250 restored it to new with a better clutch and rebuilt engine bored out & tuned, electric start and water cooled head. It was cool but you can always go bigger 😅 FL 350 was in showroom condition when I got that one 🤩 Same with the FL 400 Had it shipped 3000 miles from CA. 500 miles on it, new new new, the absolute best atv ever made❗️

Man that thing is insane! and tbh in my opinion it looks better with the small tires. looks more factory, the car wheels made it look a bit like a backyard buggy. awesome job guys cant wait to see more of this

On that liberty 800, don’t run stock elko pistons, run wisecos. They handle the heat and Rpms much better. Also I’d switch the coolant out for Evans waterless coolant. Keeps the engine much cooler on 2 strokes. Just my .02s.

Sry guys, love your content but I just love how the stock odysseys looked. They were the absolute king of ATV's when they debuted back in the 80's and its those memories which make them so hard to find today. I just cant get used to the rail buggy or dune buggy look that you get with those tires/wheels on the Odyssey. I like the big beefy knobby treads on the traditional Odyssey.

The way you guys set up the rear suspension it just for some reason makes me think of a mantis! Maybe a name for this creature in the future...
You guys should do a Edge Barracuda or a Edge Piranha build. Start from scratch and build a machine that works perfectly for you guys. Would be so much fun watching both of you guys racing on 2 buggies at the same time.

As soon as I seen those tall narrow wheels I knew it would be a problem and I'm no mechanic. How di you not see that comming. Way to much force exerted from the side when drifting and taking tight curves and such. But I absolutly love the channel and all the cool builds. This is like my favorite hobby unfortunately I haven't had the money to do cool builds since I was a teen but I sure would love to get back into it. I used to love junk yards when they existed I would find almost everything I needed to build stuff like what you guys build. Awesome. So fun and satisfying to build a mean ass machine that's fast enough to do something stupid on. Lol keep up the good work. Been a while since I seen a odyssey. Pretty Cool guys.

I put JBWWeld in a bearing housing then lathed it down and pressed in the new bearing. It was in the end of my chain crencher, a 4 inch bearing and it lasted a couple of years.
Im happy you toned down a big portion of the music.. was honestly an enjoyable video.. i know my opinion don’t matter much but what a difference. You should check the crank too, If its hard to turn over that is probably bent/out of alignment. Or the bearings could be shot.
If that is a liberty motor out of a polaris, put a bigger Rad on it. Also hook a temp gauge up, I think over 260 is when it does that and usually by then damage is already done.

Well yeah the engine is literally from a snowmobile
I was going to suggest an upgraded radiator. Usually skido's run a heat exchanger above the tracks under the seat to keep the engine cool. Maybe an automotive rad might work

Danny Hempster those big wheels are too heavy for that cvt tranny it’s way over loaded for a belt it takes too much to turn them it needs some smaller tires maybe a26/12/9 on the rear it would rip so much harder and not stress the cvt and engine itself it will end up overheating and seize the engine over time with the heavy wheels and tires on it guaranteed I’ve seen it happen before
Go with narrower sandrail type tires and some aluminum wheels from the same, probably cut the weight by at least half and still give you a good rolling radius.
So, so happy to see an appropriate wheel / tire combo back on the Odyssey.. Pls make the silly white wheels never return to it..
Also, I really like the second channel, as it's cool to see Y'all actually having fun and not always building from time to time.

You could run a trans axle off a sports car that has a mid mount engine. They can be built to handle over 1000 hp. Or a jeep diff with 1 ton axles.
Once it rips perfectly you guys should start making a body with a livery on it👌
What if you get a little bigger rad and mount it in the front. You would have more antifreeze cause the piping would be longer as well.
Lighter tip weight in the primary clutch will give you more rpm and better acceleration
I honestly really like the look of just having both front and back tires be big. But I also understand that it is better to have smaller wheels in the front in some cases, if your front axles aren't exactly meant for bigger wheels. Would be cool tho to see you guys give the front an upgrade in the axles for the front wheels to allow for bigger tires.
Also another thing I'd like to know is what specific track did you use around 6:25 for the music? (I'm bad when it comes to trying to figure out what song is playing anyways.)

Have a look at british autograss setups for rear suspension, they run serious power and seriously strong and light
I love your videos, and I absolutely accept that you guys need to do ad reads to pay the bills and keep bringing us awesome content. I only request that you keep it more proportional to the length of the video. Basically, no longer than 10% of the video run time seems fair (IMO). This one was about 2:20 out of a 16:00 long video, which is more like 15% of the video length, and it seemed excessive. Again, I love the content, and I'll sit through the ads so you get that revenue. But I'd just like a better balance of content to advertising.
